I woke up sort of dazed before a headache bashed me like a train going 24km per hour. I groaned. What was I thinking getting drunk like that?! I dragged myself out of bed and looked in the mirror. My eye makeup was smudged and my hair was a mess. I trudged half heartily towards the bathroom for a much needed shower.
I stepped into the shower and blasted the warm water it felt so good to be clean again. I lathered my hair with shampoo and rinsed it out. I ten lathered my hair up with conditioner and started cleaning my body. Suddenly my phone started buzzing signalling me I had just received a message. I rinsed the soap off my body and rinsed out the conditioner before turning off the water and grabbing a towel. I grabbed my phone and checked my messages. I had one from Jason basically telling me he got laid and one from Kat saying how hungover she felt. I answered them both before pulling out my blow dryer and drying my hair. I felt like getting some Starbucks coffee to try and get over the hangover. Satisfied with my hair I threw on a black crop top with grey sweat pants, grabbed my wallet and headed out the door....
I was next I walked up to the cashier absently and placed my order"ill take a grande coffee." The cashier punched in my selection and gave me the price I sighed an pulled out my wallet as I was handing him the money I noticed his gorgeous chocolate brown eyes and tanned complexion. I'm not going to lie, I totally checked him out. "You're hot." He looked at me surprised "is that so?" I threw him a sarcastic grin "Yea, hasn't anyone told you that besides me?" He laughed "Well to tell you the truth I don't get out that much." I nodded "I see well if you're up to if mate I could take you out sometime. Maybe even tonight?" The lady with unnaturally bright pink hair who standing behind me coughed irritatedly "are you finished ordering?" I rolled my eyes "One second" I pulled out my phone "what's your number?" He gave me his number and I gave him a smile. "Whats your name?" He pointed to his name tag "Alejandro" I winked "nice name." He smiled. God his smile was beautiful. "Thanks. When should I text you?" i grinned "when your shift is over if you're not too busy" he nodded "sound good." i gave a curt nod before walking out the door and went to get a cab satisfied with my charming skills.
On the cab ride home all I could think about was Alejandro. He was gorgeous and didn't appear to be a fuckboy like most if the guys I dated or even spoke to. I wanted him, badly.
I walked up to my house and opened the door. My dad had probably left for some meeting and my mom was casually frying bacon. "Hey mom" I said as I plunked myself down at the kitchen table to drink my coffee. "Hi honey. Have fun last night?" I laughed "Yea but paying the price for it" she nodded understandingly. "I remember my teen years, parties and all. It's good to have fun but keep yourself safe."
"I know mom"
She smiled "Thats good. Can you see if your brother is okay?"
I nodded "sure I can do that"
I headed upstairs to check on my brother, Todd a charming blonde with green eyes and a fuckboy personality. I rapped on the door "are you okay?"
I knew Todd got into drugs and wasn't sure if my parents knew but it was definitely the aide of him hiding in his room all day.
"Todd?!"
"Doors open"
I opened the door and walked in to see him sitting in his bed playing video games.
"Mom wanted me to see if you were doing okay.
He nodded distractedly.
"I'm fine"
I sighed and walked over to eat a better glimpse of the TV.
"Halo? You haven't played that in ages."
He shrugged
"What's it to you?"
I rolled my eyes and looked around his room which was like mine but not decorated the same in the least. His room was blue and had no particular design. What caught my eye was a bunch of ziplock bags that appeared to contain cocaine. I walked over to it.
"Are you fucking kidding?!" I asked him disgusted.
He paused his game, got up and snatched the bags from my view.
"God Faith stop snooping around."
I sighed
"Sorry that I actually care about you"Todd sighed and threw himself on his bed.
"Sorry."
"it's okay"
A few minutes passed when my phone buzzed. Todd sat up in an instant and narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
"Who's that?"
I looked down at my phone to see Alejandro's name on my screen. No way his shift was already over? The text stated that he was free aroud 5:30. I laughed. Todd frowned.
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing"
I got off Todd's bed and headed out his door I could hear him asking me if I had a boyfriend but I wasn't about talking to him for the moment all I could think about was my date with Alejandro.
...
"Have fun darling!"
My mother said before giving me a peck on the cheek.
"Thank you mum"
I stepped out of the car glad I had stuck with the 4 inch heels and walked confidently towards the door.
As I walked in I scanned the restaurant for Alejandro and spotted him in a quiet little corner at the far end of the restauraunt. He looked up and smiled that beautiful smile of his. I made my way over to him. I sat down across from him and looked up just in time to catch him checking me out.
"Eyes up here for now. So tell me what's a handsome guy like yourself doing here single?"
He let out a small laugh before folding his hands and putting them on the table.
"Can you keep a secret?"
I looked around the restauraunt a little uncertain before hesitantly saying
"Yes"
"I work for spies"
I laughed before flipping my hair
"Gorgeous and funny."
He smiled politely
"If you say so."
...
I was just finishing up my crème bruée when Alejandro asked me if I would go to his house and watch a movie.
"Which movie would we watch?" I asked trying to maintain the excitement I was feeling to be going over to his house.
"Well now that's up to you now isn't it?" He smiled ever so playfully before winking.
I laughed "But of course. Do you have any old movies?"
"I think somwhere in my basement I have a box full of them" he said thoughtfully.
I nodded "Then I think my selection will be among those."
"Sounds good. Well I'll go pay the bill and then we can go."
I was hesistant since I had been the one to invite him here.
"Are you sure you don't want me to get it for you?" I asked while starting to pull out my wallet.
"Well I can't have a lovely woman, good food and not pay for any of it now can I?" He asked with a hint of playful obviousness.
"I suppose not. Very well you can grab the bill" I said surrendering to his charm and determination
