When Jasper put his arm around me, I jumped a little out of shock.

"Hey gorgeous, long time no see!" he said with a cute chuckle.

"Hey, you scared me!" I replied laughing.

He started laughing and then studied me from head to toe. Jasper was my ex boyfriend. I know, people dont usually talk to their exes, but Jasper is different. He's the guy that you just want to be around all the time. He's the kind of guy you can't stay mad at no matter what. He's fun, smart, and kind of cute.

I looked and studied him back. He was really tall, about 6'2. He had messy brown hair, chiseled features and a killer body.

"You just get more gorgeous by the day, don't you Nessa?" he asked jokingly.

"Awe, aren't you a gentleman." I replied laughing.

"Only for you." he said then winked. I suddenly remembered why I loved him. I know he was only kidding but I couldn't help but to get butterflies in my belly. I looked away to try to hide my blush.

"Awee, you're blushing!" He yelled and started laughing.

"Shut up!" I said laughing.

I haven't talked to Jasper in like forever! I forgot how much I missed him after he broke up with me because he wanted to focus on school. I haven't seen him since then. Or maybe I have, and just didn't acknowledge it because I missed him too much.

We walked into the school and realized we still had about 15 minutes until class started. So we went to the cafeteria together, ate breakfast and caught up.

He stopped eating and look at me and said, "Nessa, I can't believe how much I miss you."

What he said caught me off gaurd and I ended up choking a little on my milk. He laughed and started tapping on my back to make me stop coughing.

"I miss you too." I said trying not to sound too sincere.

He smiled and ran his hand through his messy hair, "I think we should get back together." he said.

I looked at him wide-eyed and just as I looked at him, the bell rang for class. He watched me as I got up, "I got to go now, if I get another detention for being late again my mom will bitch fit. I'll talk to you later!" I said as I scurried away. He saluted me and then looked away with a look of disappointment. As I got to the end of the hallway I looked back and saw he wasn't there anymore. That was close. I thought to myself as I made my way to first hour. But then I realized that I had to make up an excuse for why I can't date him by lunch break.

Great.
