you were what people would call a "goody two shoes". you never did anything bad and you were to kind and quiet to get involved with any drama.

what people didn't know is that you were in fact involved with bad people, not that you wanted to be but you were. your step-father, being the piece of shit that he was, is a drug dealer. not just any drug dealer... he was THE drug dealer. your step-father made massive amounts of money with his business in the drug world and he would sell anything from heroin to cocaine.

your step-father never got caught by the police. probably because he was selling them drugs. after all this small town you lived in was twisted.

your mother was too sick to stop his drug dealing and with all the money coming in she thought that your step-father, richard, would help pay for the treatment she desperately needed. he didn't though.

school was different for you. you enjoyed going to school because it took you away from your crazy ass life. even if it was for only 7 hours it took you away from reality for a bit which was all that you needed.

currently, you were in school and you were happy about that.

you walked through the halls with your books hugged tightly to your chest and your bookbag hanging loosely on your shoulders. your shoes slightly squeaking on the tile from the rained on sidewalks outside of the school.

then you bumped into someone causing some of your books to fall and your shoes to make an incredibly loud squeak.

"I-I'm so s-sorry." you stuttered as you bent down to pick up your fallen books.

"Watch where you're fucking going next time!" the person who you bumped into said raising his voice.

you jumped slightly at his raise in tone. looking up you saw the one, the only, Hansol Chwe. you knew who he was, although you both never talked to each other. you always thought he was handsome; far too handsome to be in a dead town like yours. you'd always admired his radiant beauty and how he could flash his heart shaped gummy smile so easily with stars glittering in his eyes, but that all stopped about three months ago. Hansol began to act coldly towards everyone. he dressed in darker clothes and his smile disappeared. nobody knew why and after a week everyone stopped caring.

hansol made eye contact with you, causing your heart to hammer in your chest because even his simple glare scared you, then he walked away.

calming down your heart beat you breathed in and out then you got off the ground with your books in hand and made it to your first class of the day.
