Are they good now?

They got back from school. Chris went to the living room, sat on the sofa, and turned on the tv.
Jane was walking to her room, but she quickly changed opinion and went where he was, she sees him and stands next to him.

-Hey..  Chris?
-Oh, hi.. Jane.- He turned off the tv- How are you?
-I'm.. actually surprised.
-Why?
-Really? Why?
Chris nodded.
-Boy.. nobody ever did something...FOR ME..like the things you did today. I find it absolutely incredible.
-Well....i had to return the favor someday.- He said, and went back to watch tv.
She looked at him. She was a little dissapointed. She didnt wanted the conversation to end there.
-..I..I'm really sorry for doubting you.
He turned it off again, looked at her and paied more attention to the
conversation.-It's alright, we are all wrong sometimes, it's part of our lives.- He says.
-Yeah, yeah, i know.. but i didn't realize it wasn't your intention... Have you talked to.. Stacy?
-That girl? Oh yes.. we are nothing now, we never really were..I think it is finally clear to her.
-Hahaha, i'm glad.
-Me too.
They looked at each other. Then an uncomfortable silence began to appear. So he turned the tv on.
Jane wasn't enough pleased with the conversation. So.. she approached Chris, who was sat on the sofa and kissed him in the cheek. Then she turned around and went to her room.
He was alone now, and silent. He was happy actually on the inside. And he began to think.
