We run back to the pack house in wolf form. I'm happy about that because now I can gather up my thoughts before I say anything. I don't have much time to think though because soon enough we're at the pack house and Lucas must've mind linked someone because there are cloths for us to change into.

Lucas leads me to his room, not giving me a chance to admire this beautiful, huge house. When he closes the doors he doesn't say something at first. I stand there awkwardly as he paces backs and forth, with a deep frown plastered on his face. After what seems like eternity he says, "How did you do it?"

I pretend I don't know what he's talking about by saying, "How did I defeat the wolves? Well first I made sure the guy that tried to punch me was secure before handling the other guy then-"

"You know that's not what I'm talking about." He interrupts, his eyes growing darker but this time not from lust.

"Ummm.. I-I.. ummm." I stutter, not being able to think up a lie. He walks toward me slowly, causing me to walk backwards. Soon enough I'm backed into a wall, his arms trapping me. Now in most stories this is the part where he's supposed to kiss me, but I don't think that's where our conversation is leading.

"TELL ME!" He tells, and I flinch as fear flashes through my eyes quickly. Not quick enough apparently, because he catches it and his eyes soften slightly and he says more quietly this time, "Please just tell me."

"I-I I just can't." I say softly.

"Do you not trust me?" He ask, with a tinge of hurt.

"Well I have only known you for like 2 days and I was unconscious for like half of that, but yes I trust you. That's not the reason that I can't tell you." I say, confusion evident on his face.

"Then why?" He asks.

"Because."I say softly, "I don't know, either. I suspect it has something to do with my parents but it's not I can ask them."

"Why not?" He says, " I see that your dad might not answer but I'm sure you mother would talk to you about something if you ask them." I chuckle slightly, causing him to frown. I suddenly realize how close we are and his hands slowly clasp around mine. I can feel his breath in my face when I feel him say, "What?"

"Lucas." I say, "Jackie and Mark. They aren't my real parents." I say slowly. "When I was young, I was left on their doorstep and no one was around to see who left me there. I don't know who my real parents are."

I can see the shock in his eyes, his mouth hanging open slightly. "I- I just thought- since- but you look so much like them?" He stuttered, more of a question the statement.

"Yep. I don't know why. All I know is that we're not related." I say, still fully aware of our position. I look down at his lips. They are parted slightly, and I just can't help myself, I lean in and kiss him.

At first he doesn't respond and so I pull away, my cheeks red in embarrassment. I try to pull my hands away but he growls. I finally meet his eyes and see they're black. My eyes widen but I don't have time to register anything before his lips are on mine.

He roughly kisses me, and I moan slightly, causing him to let out a low growl. The kiss sends sparks through me, anywhere and everywhere. He kisses me deeper until he suddenly pulls away.

I almost feel hurt until I look and see he's struggling to keep control over his wolf. After a few minutes of silence he is able to gain control. His eyes that beautiful blue again. He opens his mouth, about to speak when a look of realization crosses his face.

He looks into my eyes before asking hesitantly, "When were you born again?"
