Chapter 4

The rest of the week went by pretty quickly, we just talked about what we liked to do and what bands we were into.

The week has now passed and it's now Sunday. my mom had decided to dart going back to a church which my brother and I did not like.

" Hey, Mel it's time to get up we have to get ready and go,"  Jenson said popping his head through the door. 

" I don't want to it was one thing when dad was a youth pastor but now there is no point," I say in a slightly annoyed voice as I sit up wiping my eyes. 

" Just come on ok it's a new church anyway mom wants us to go so we should," Jenson replied and I get up and nod my head in response. While he closes the do I go over to my dresser and grab a black and white flannel with some skinny jeans. Then go over to my bathroom and brush my hair and teeth.  Then I quickly braid my hair to one side and run downstairs grabbing a cup of coffee and making a piece of toast and sit at the table for everyone to get done.

we get in the car and head to the church. we end up sitting in the middle row but I did not pay attention to much else. although I would glance up from my phone every so often looking at all the people. towards the end, I spotted a familiar face and as we stood up to sing again she turned setting something down and fixing her dress, I could see her face it was Natalie and I then saw her glance beside her and I saw Addy. As soon as the service was over they started to walk out so I quickly went past my brother saying I will meet them at the car and I headed out spotting them talking by the parking lot. I walked over to them they almost jumped as they heard my footsteps approach.

" Hey, guess we go to the same church," I say trying not to look concerned by why they may have jumped. 

Addy looked at me and smiled with Natalie behind her doing the same. " Oh hey, Mel yeah I guess we do."

" Yeah I did not see you in there but then again I have to sit in the front with my dad being the pastor and all," Natalie finished ending with a slight giggle.

I was soured of shocked but tried not to show it " Well I got to go we are having lunch after this, you two, could probably come but you probably have plans," I say not even realizing it.

" Is that like an offer because I don't think we are doing anything." addy says and I turn back around happaly.

" Yeah I would have to ask my dad then addy ask her mom though," Natalie adds on.

we quickly walk back to my car and ask my mom she, of course, says yes so we go back in the church. we find Addy's mom and she says yes pretty quickly then we go to Natalie's dad, when addy said she was going he says yes.

We had decided for them to stay the night and Jenson would take us to school tomorrow.

Hey, the author here I get that this chapter is kinda unimportant but the next will be important. I am going back to school soon so I won't be able to update a soon as I would like but maybe once a week. Anyway, i hope for the next update to be in the next two or three days but i don't now. Also, I drew a picture of Mel and am going to try and draw one of Natalie but I don't know if I will be able to I shall still try though. ok that's all I hope you enjoyed and hope to write more soon.
