Chapter 8.

Gabriela's POV

I was working on beating the hell out of this punching bag when the door slammed open.

I spun around and looked for the threat but just found a blond girl dressed in a skirt and frilly top, with high top converse.

"OMG!! I'm so glad you are here! There's finally another girl here!" I watched as she jumped around yelling with excitement while I watched her with an eyebrow raised.

I cleared my throat to stop her from jumping around. "Um do I know you?" I scratched the back of my neck as she stared at me.

"Oh silly me! I'm Jaime-Lynn, but you can just call me Jaime like everyone else." I looked up as the boys appeared in the door as they sighed when they seen Jaime.

"Found her!" Maddox walked into the room and hugged me to his chest as if I hadn't seen him in years when it was probably just a few hours.

"What have I told you about running off Jaime-Lynn!" I watched as Spencer scolds her. Huh, must be his sister or something.

"Oh hush! I wanted to meet her." She huffs and crosses her arms throwing sass around like confetti.

Is she on crack?
Or naturally moody like this?

I'm snapped out of my head by Jaime snapping her fingers in my face. I swat them away and glare at her.

"What kid?" I huff and cross my arms over my chest as Maddox and the guys watch me with amusement.

"I'm not a kid!" She stomps her foot as if she was a 5 year old throwing a tantrum.

"You're like 16-17?" She nods and blushes as I chuckle. "Still a lil baby" I say in a baby voice but start running as she chases me. I make it to the banner and hop over and and land crouched before rolling.

I look up so see her staring at me as if I'm an animal, before running down the stairs after me. I jump over the couch and turn around looking at her ready to run in either direction.

"You soooo gotta teach me how to do that after I kick your ass" I smirk as she starts throwing punches in the air. The guys walk in and spencer falls to the ground laughing at his sister fighting the air. I run behind Maddox and peak between his one arm so see her tapping her foot at me. "That's unfair! Maddox is like a mountain!"

"Snooze you lose" I stick my tongue out at her as I feel Maddox's back rumble with laughter.

"Come on guys let's watch a movie" Sam plops down on a chair and starts loading up Netflix as we all settle on either part of the couch or the floor.

I sit on the floor with my back against the couch and Maddox sits behind me before taking my hair out of its bun and starts playing with it, running his fingers throwing it or simply touching me. I pull my knees up to my chest and lean my head on his right knee before focusing on the movie that's been put on.

Never Back Down.

It's a pretty good movie. I look around the room once the lights are shut off and see Jaime and Sam getting cozy on the big chair. And strangely Spencer and Jason were getting cozy..??

Huh. All well. Interesting.

I smirk before turning my head back to the movie as I feel a soft tug on my hair when I accidentally pull it out of Maddox's grip. I hear a soft growl before he starts playing with my hair and massaging my scalp.

BANG BANG BANG

BANG BANG BANG BANG

I jolt awake to the sound of gun fire and quickly stand up. Maddox hands me a gun from the side table and I take cover behind the couch.

20 guys dressed in black and navy blue come running in shooting at anything they can. I flip the safety off and load the gun before shooting.

I look around to see everyone shooting back while Sam covers Jaime behind the chair.

"Get her out!" I yell at Sam before shooting again and watching them run out of the room.

I watch as Maddox shoots the last guy before we slowly get stand up looking around for anyone else.

"Fucken Irish" I watch Spencer spit on one of the dead bodies as I tuck the gun in the back of my pants.

"What the hell was that all about?" I spin on my heels with my arms across my chest, raising an eyebrow at Maddox.

"That was the Irish mafia. They've had a vendetta against us for years."

I slowly nod watching guys pick up the body's and leaving some where with them.

"So imma go shower..." I back out of the room before turning and bolting hearing feet coming after me.

Well alright then. Sure.
