Alexis POV~
As he stepped closer to me I felt a huge chill go down my back. It was either me getting nervous or I was cold..... Ya I was probably cold. Even if I did like him a little he would never like me.
I'm to scrony, nerdy, yet I am still somewhat popular. Well not that much but I am not one of those nerdy kids that wear glasses. No I'm just descent I guess that's the word I'm looking for.
As I open my mouth to say something he beats me to it.
"Why are you up so late?" He says not looking at me.
"Umm.... well umm... I just couldn't sleep" I reply.
"ya I can't sleep because of what happened between your mom and you" My subcontinent's adds.
I hear him snort.
"Are you okay?" I ask him. I mean why would he snort? Because he was gonna laugh or cause he's getting sick?
"You don't have to lie to me." he says this time looking me in the eye.
His eyes were a beautiful green. I never noticed because I was always so distant from him. Ya know He's the jock I'm just a normal girl. He'd choose someone over me in an instant.
"How do you even know I'm lying?" I ask. Was it cause of my stuttering? Ya I suck at lies I admit.
"You were stuttering. That made it kind of obvious." He said with a grin on his face.
"Oh right. Umm sorry I'm not good at lies, but it was kinda true." I say cause it was. I just don't know him enough to tell him about my personal life.
"Well we are here." He stops and points to my house.
"Oh." I say that was fast.
"Well goodnight" he says casually.
"Night" I say giving him a small smile.
"Thank you. Well Umm I'll see you tom I guess" I take out my hand to give him a hand shake.
