The Awkward Next Day

Kina started off on her daily routine but got a phone call "dear. You have a phone call from your new friend Aiden!" Her mother said eagerly, Kina took the phone and answered "u-um hey! What's up." She said nervously "do you um. Wanna walk to school together?" He said shyly "R-really! That sound cool" she said while blushing that caught her dads attention "o-okay we'll see you then!" She said ending the call "whose Aiden? " he said strictly "he's a friend." She said questionably "your. Boyfriend?!" He asked strictly "D-Dad! no!! He's friend only" she blushed a bright red "mmm, he better be no ones gonna take my little girl from me!" He said in a heroic voice "dad. I gotta make my lunch.." she said while pushing him out of the way. Kina continued to make her lunch but she made extra and packed it in another bag for Aiden and kissed her parents goodbye, then Aiden what at her door waiting with his legs crossed and his arms resting behind his head. "Oh hey!" He said putting his hands in his uniform pocket "hi!" She said surprised "well lets go." He started walking. Once they got to school she handed him a lunch kit. "Here.." she said shyly and hiding her face "did you make me a lunch? Cool!!" He said and happily took the lunch and walked into class everyone stared and whispered "Good morning!" Aiden said to everyone Kina blushed cause of the embarrassment and said "um let's sit down" they both sat down and the teacher looked at the time and left the room for a minute then a girl walked into the class and when up to Kina and slammed her hand on the desk and said "Hey. You think you're all cool beating up my little sister?" "What no I was the one getting beat up-" "LIAR!" The older girl said while cutting off Kina. "Whatever just if you hurt her again. You'll pay!" And she walks out of the classroom. Kina started tearing up "H-hey that was kinda harsh are you okay?" he asked " yeah one sec I gotta use the washroom.." she got up running to the washroom people started staring at Aiden, Aiden started to sweat and yelled "H-hey! If you got something to say. say it!" People started crowding his desk and kept asking "Why are you friends with that freak?" "Why did you choose to sit with HER?" But Kina was walking back from the washroom and seen everyone was crowding his desk he stood up and slammed his hand on the desk. Kina hid behind the wall and over heard " I like her and not like a friend, okay? And if you have a problem with it too bad!" Everyone returned to their seats Kina blushed cause she overheard something she shouldn't have heard and she awkwardly walked in and sat down trying not to make eye contact with Aiden. And then the teacher walked back in after a while and told the class "my apologies class. the bell will not be ringing today, so we will have to keep checking the time."
