The Burns and Daz

He walked onto the dull track thinking to himself about his family, what would they be doing, Mum, Dad and Kelly. Bryon was delivering about 10 kg of  wheat to his aunt who lived 25 km away, he never studied math but he knew that a 25 km would take him at least 7 hours to do. He tried to walk faster but the weight of the wheat just slowed him down. The track was one of those winding one's that seem like they go forever and are surrounded by the forest on either sides, which in fact didn't help Bryon because he was scared of everything, even his own shadow sometimes. His aunt (who lived alone) wouldn't expect him for another 4 hours which would be at 4 o'clock, Bryon tried to do the calculations in 12 hour time when he heard some bushes rubbing against each other. At first he thought it was a rabbit or a hare but a soft humming was coming from behind the bush which was peculiar because Bryon had never heard any sound like that, all he heard was mooing of cows and the quacks made by ducks. He moved towards the sound when he was pulled into a black circle of pinpoints.

As Julia gives the stray dog some left over meat, she feels a weird feeling that something was looking at her, at first she thought that it was father because she wasn't allowed to go out of the house after 7 and it was around midnight. The stray dog started to whine and Julia got pulled into the black circle and passed out.
