Chapter 12

*the next day*

I was sitting at the dinner table at home, with my brothers. "Did you heard about the thief? He steals things from lockers", Mike said. "Yeah i know right. They took my pills", Jason said. Mike and I looked at him weird. "Uhm i mean, they took something from my friends too." He broke his leg with a friendly game of basketball with some guys. But i was at Demi's that night. "Wait, Mike. Do you know who did all off this?", i asked. "Yeah i guess. My friend Shaun can get you his number." I smiled. "Thanks." I walked upstairs and called Demi.

Demi: "Hey."

Chloe: "Hey baby, how are you feeling?"

Demi: "Like crap. Can you come over please?"

Chloe: "Sure, i'll be there at 8 okay?"

Demi: "Sure."

Chloe: "See you later then Dems."

Demi: "Yeah, see you later."

I hung up and called Shaun, Mike's friend.

After a few minutes i hung up and ran downstairs. "I'll be back in a few!", i said walking out the door. I was meeting up with Shaun and his friend, who might have stole Demi's vest.

"Hey", i said. "Hi." "Hurry, we don't have much time. What do you want?", Shaun's friend asked. "Do you have a black vest? You stole it out of my girlfriend's locker." "Yeah i do. Want it back?" I nodded. "30 bucks." I looked at him weird.

"I'm coming here to take something that already belong to her, and you want me to pay for it?" "Okay. Fair enough. 20 then." I rolled my eyes and nodded. I gave him the money and he walked to his car. He came back with the vest. "Thank you so much", i said. "No, thank you. It was nice doing business with you." I gave him a small smile and walked to my car.

I went home and had dinner. I was done early so i could go to Demi's house earlier. She sounded a little disappointed when i said i would there at 8.

I finished my food and stood up. "'m ging to see Demi okay?", i said. My mom looked weird. "Sure, have fun honey", my dad said. I smiled and walked to my car.

*10 minutes later*

Demi gave me a spare key, so i didn't have to knock. I walked upstairs with the vest behind my back. "Hey gorgeous", i said. She turned around quickly. "You scared me", she said. I smiled. "I have something for you", i said. She had a weak smile, but she meant it.

I got the vest out if my bag. "What?! Where did you get this?!", she said smiling. "Trust me, you don't want to know." She smiled. "Thank you Chloe. Really." "No problem baby", i said smiling. She walked closer to me and kissed me. "I love you", she said looking at the ground. I know know it's hard for her to love someone and actually tell them.

I lift her head up and looked into her eyes. "I love you too", i said smiling. She got a little shy, which made me smile.

Sorry for not uploading! I'm really busy with college and getting an internship. Its all worked out now, so i'm back to writing. Thanks for reading, i love y'all.
