"I'll Learn To Trust With You"

It was a calm Friday afternoon and the 76th class was taking a test. Seiko Kimura, the SHSL pharmacist, had already finished her test as she was up studying the night before. She looked over at one of her only friends, Ruruka Andou, the SHSL confectioner.
Ruruka was still taking her test and had no sign of being closed to finished. Seiko looked over at Ruruka's boyfriend, Sonosuke Izayoi, the SHSL blacksmith, and he was going through the test with a breeze. He took the time to study ahead of time, so it was just a matter of minutes, or seconds until he finished.
Sonosuke looked over at Seiko as he could tell she was looking at him, then they both looked at Ruruka, who was still struggling. Ruruka turned to Sonosuke and quietly begged him, "Hey Yoi-chan, help me with my test please~" She had looked at him with the cutest needy face she could.
But Sonosuke just denied her request. "Just because you are my girlfriend, don't think I'm going to let you cheat."
"Yoi-chan~ Please... I'll stay over at your house tonight~"
Sonosuke just simply shook his head which led to Ruruka turning to Seiko instead.
Whispering quietly to not get caught cheating, but loud enough for Seiko to hear, she spoke, "Hey Seiko chan, can you help me with my-" But before she could finish her question, Seiko was holding what looked to be a vitamin out towards Ruruka from under the desk.
"Seiko, what's this?" Ruruka asked as she took the vitamin from Seiko.
"It is a memory enhancer vitamin, it'll boost your memory from studying. Hurry and take it before the teacher notices."
Ruruka was almost tempted to scream her happiness to thank Seiko, but she knew that would not go over do well. She held the vitamin and looked at Seiko who was avoiding looking back at her to avoid suspicion. Ruruka then turned to Sonosuke who was not happy with the decision made, but knew it was best in her interest to take it. Ruruka looked forward at the teacher and when she wasn't paying attention, Ruruka took the vitamin and swallowed it. She then looked at the test and instantly remembered the answers to most of them.
As Ruruka finished the last few questions, the teacher stood up to collect the tests.
"Class is almost over. I'll grade the tests by the end of the weekend."
Ruruka, along with the other two, handed in their tests and then were preparing to leave. Sonosuke got up and started to walk out the class before he turned to the girls. "Are you two coming?"
Seiko nodded and began to catch up to Sonosuke but was stopped before she could. "Wait Seiko, I want to talk to you. Izayoi could you hold on for a moment?"
"Oh okay, Ruruka, please take your time. I'll wait in the hall."
"Okay. Seiko, can I ask you something?"
Seiko looked at her and nodded. "Of course. I enjoy talking to you."
Ruruka took in a sigh and looked at Seiko. "Seiko, will you ever eat one of my treats?"
Seiko looked at her but it was obvious that she gave a frown even with the mask on. "Ruruka... I can't. I'm sorry. I really believe your treats are nice, but I don't think I could eat them ever."
Ruruka looked at her again. "That vitamin, you had it before I ever needed help. How did you know I would need it?"
"Ruruka as much as I may not seem like it, I really see you as one of my only friends. I always come prepared to help either you or Sonosuke kun."
Ruruka looked up at Seiko before taking in another breath. "Your mask..."
"M-my mask? What's wrong with it? Is something on it?" Seiko began feeling around on her mask.
"No. Seiko, could you please take it off for a moment."
"What why? Ruruka, what is going on?"
Ruruka stood her ground as she opened her mouth to ask a simple question. "Seiko, be honest please. Do you trust me?"
This question nearly caught Seiko off guard. Was Ruruka questioning her trust? Seiko looked straight at Ruruka with a firm answer. "Ruruka, I do trust you. You haven't done anything to lose my trust ever. I trust you."
Ruruka nodded and then repeated her earlier request. "Okay Seiko, then please take off your mask for me."
With nothing to say but a sigh, Seiko carefully removed her respirator mask and held it firmly in her hand.
Ruruka looked up at the now unmasked girl before her and began to speak. "Seiko, you trust me, so I'll learn to trust with you."
With that, Ruruka leaned into Seiko, placing her soft lips on Seiko's already nervous lips. As Ruruka kissed her, Seiko's eyes grew wider. When Ruruka pulled away, Seiko questioned her.
"Ruruka? What was that? What about Sonosuke? He's your boyfriend right?"
That's when Sonosuke walked back into the room. "Yeah, that is true. But I also knew about this. It took a lot of begging and bowl full of her delicious treats to convince me to bring you into the relationship."
Seiko was so surprised, not that she was going to be with Ruruka who she always dreamed of, but being with Sonosuke who was okay with it.
"Seiko chan, don't you get it? I love you. Just as much as Sonosuke. So please accept my request to be with us."
Seiko had an unusually dark blush on her face as she looked at Sonosuke, who was nodding with his approval of the situation. Seiko then looked back at Ruruka with a nod for herself. "Ruruka, I do accept your request." She was nearly crying tears of joy, no scratch that, she basically was crying tears of joy to know that the girl she always had wanted to be closer to wanted a relationship with her. Seiko pulled Ruruka into a hug as she cried into her arm.
After she wiped her tears away, she looked around for her bag, and saw Sonosuke holding it out towards her, which made her smile showing her braces, before she decided to put her mask back on.
Seiko looked at them both, Sonosuke with a smile on his face in front of them, and Ruruka, who was interlocking their fingers together as she reached out for Sonosuke's hand as well. As Sonosuke took her hand, they all walked out of the school together, each with their own smile on their face.
