When Kara read the notification that popped up on the screen her heart almost skipped a beat. She immediately open it and accepted the request right before opening the blonde's Instagram account and roaming through her pictures. After a while of scrolling Kara reached a picture of Quinn with her pink hair. It was dated back to 2012, meaning Quinn had ditched her punk rock phase and changed her style to a more casual yet sometimes edgy one for a while now. In most of her recent photos she was wearing an unbuttoned cardigan over a tucked in t shirt with some skinny jeans.

Did Quinn just spam her account with likes? Kara though. Taking that as a sign that she might after all, not be annoying Quinn if she talked, a sudden courage came over her and she started DMing her.

@Kara_Danvers: i most definitely remembered you, and your pink hair, but summer camp wasn't exactly something that i remember very dearly.

@Kara_Danvers: yeah well it DID stand out. Plus it really suited you well.
@QuinnFabray: Is that so? I'll just  have to consider going back to pink then.
@QuinnFabray: So, what are you doing on Monday before practice?

Kara now was in full panic mode. What does this even mean? Is sho going to ask her out? What should she answer?

@Kara_Danvers: Not much, at least nothing i know of.
@QuinnFabray: Would you like to do something?
@QuinnFabray: I mean, if you want to, we can go get milkshakes from All Time Diner. They have  the best fucking milkshakes in town!
@Kara_Danvers: Yeah! Sounds good. But the thing is, I don't have a car. I usually wait for the bus.
@QuinnFabray: Oh, that's no problem! I'll come get you. Just send me a pin and be ready at 6:00.
@Kara_Danvers: Sounds like a plan. :)

Shit. Kara thought. What the actual hell did she just get herself into? Should she tell Lena? Why is she even considering not telling her best friend about her date? What if she doesn't approve? She definitely wasn't happy talking about Quinn in the bus. Plus part of her knew she definitely feels something more than just a friendship going on between the two of them.

K: I don't know what I just got myself into.
W: What are you talking about?
K: I think Quinn Fabray just asked me out on a date, Winn.
W: You can't be serious!
K: Yes! She asked me out for Milkshakes at All Time Diner before practice on Monday.
W: She's very attractive and you guys seem to have known each other, so it can't be as awkward as usual first dates go. I don't see where the problem is.
K: IT'S THE FIRST TIME I'M EVER GOING ON A DATE! I'VE NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH STUFF LIKE THIS. EVER.
W: Okay calm down! There's nothing to worry about. First of all, the good thing is you guys have camp to talk about instead of awkward conversations that come along with first dates. Second of all, I think it would be much more productive if you talk about this with Lena rather than me because we both know who's the real expert in this domain.
K: I don't know if I can tell her.
W: Huh? She's one of your closest friends! How can you not tell her about this?
K: Because I know that I have feelings for her, I haven't figured out what type of feelings yet, but I know that I like her more than just friends.
W: Wait hold on a second.. WHAT?
W: Oh now that I think about it though, i can see it. I mean you don't even let me hug you for more than 2 seconds, yet Lena can literally fall asleep in your arms and you wouldn't mind it.
K: Is it obvious? Do you think she's felt it? I don't want to ruin our friendship. That's why maybe if I go out with Quinn, I might get over those feelings
W: Wanna find out what she feels about this? I have a plan in mind already.
K: I'm starting to get pretty nervous. What do you mean?
