**~~~SHINA'S POV~~~**

My eyes shot open at the ringing of the alarm clock. ''ohh man! Its morning again?!'' I mumbled to myself. Suddenly i remembered which day is today-31st December! Today's day is tripple happy for me 'cause its the last date of this year(2013), its my BIRTHDAY today and to top it off today is the day of the Radio Show! I am super excited to sing the song of my favorite singer, who is none other than ENRIQUE IGLESIAS! Just at the thought of enrique, my face heated up a bit, i was blushing slightly and then i smiled. ''time to get ready'' i said to myself. Today is my birthday so i don't have to wear my school uniform, i can wear anything i want. I took out a black mini skirt with a white belt attached to it and a white top with 3 small black printed flowers on the bottom left side of the top. On the top it was written- 'I Love Enrique'

(after the bath)

I sat on my dressing table and dried my hair. I comed my hair and did a side puff and let my long and straight black hair fall on my shoulders. I put up a light make-up and wore star shaped silver(real) earing and a diamond(real) bracelet. All that was left were my shoes.

I went downstairs for breakfast. I was welcomed by 'Happy Brithdays' and gifts from my family. Did i say that its my 17th birthday, meaning i am 17yrs old now!

''hey dad! We'll have a birthday party today, right?!'' liam, my younger brother(14yrs old), said curiously.

''well son, this year on shina's birthday i have planned that the five of us will go out for dinner'' By hearing this my jaw dropped in dissapointment.

'' ohh c'mon father! Do your homely-family thing on your birthday, NOT MINE!'' i tried to defended. I seriously don't know what the hell does homely-family thing means, even though i am the one who used that term...jeeze...

''hahaha shina! I was just kidding.'' my father, jude, said with a loving smile. ''ohh...ok'' was all i could say 'cause i seriously don't know what to say in these kind of things. -_-

I finished my breakfast, took my Nike schoolbag and wore my white coloured Reebok shoes which matched perfectly with my attire. I along with my brother went to school by riding my own car and my elder sister, Kriyaa(20yrs old) went off to college riding her own car. Liam often complains about him not having his own car, but isn't it obvious 'cause he's just a kid right now?!!!

I parked the car carefully in the parking area and then we both went off to our respective classes. I was greeted by a number of 'happy birthdays'. As soon as i took my seat, a small but cute chocolate cake in which it was written- 'happy b-day, shina!' was placed before me on my desk. Tears started to gather in my eyes ''is this for me?'' ''of course, silly!'' my best friend Jessica replied and the others- Shaaina, Seth and Ren smiled. We cut the cake and they gave me gifts, we enjoyed to the fullest! ''hey shina! You look amazing today! Just like a pop singer!'' shaaina said while grinning widely. ''yeah! You sure do'' Seth who is one of my bestie and shaaina's boyfriend, agreed.

''you know shina, since today's your birthday! Let's find a suitable boyfriend for you!'' out of nowhere jessica brought up that topic...AGAIN!

''nope not at all! I am not interested'' i spoke the truth.

''you're already 17, for god's sake'' jessica said with a sigh. Oh yeah, jessica also has a boyfriend and he is none other than ren-another one of my bestie.

''ohh...i get it...'' shaaina replied with a smirk and her eyes were on my top. I don't like where this is heading...

''what?'' i asked.

''because you are in love with enrique!'' she replied and kept her smirk firm on her face. My face started to heat up. I can tell that i am blushing right now.

''of c-course n-not!'' i blurted out.

''if not then why did you stutter and why are you blushing?'' shaaina asked ''and why are you wearing a top that says- I Love Enrique'' jessica added.

''its nothing like that!'' i yelled. ''and i wore this top 'cause i am gonna sing one of his songs today in the radio show!'' i said still blushing.

''ohh...his song?! Eh!'' seth and ren said at the same time.

''don't you guys dare start to tease me!'' i yelled at the both of them. They didn't listen and the 4 of them continued to tease me till the bell rang. They went back to their seats with dissapointment?!...oh jeeze seriously...and what the hell?! How come they even came to the conclusion that i love him? I don't love him or...do i? Do i love enrique iglesias? Or is it just a simple crush? Or nothing at all and...even if i loved him, he would never love me in return 'cause we will never meet...and even if we do meet, he won't still love me 'cause he already has a girlfriend, anna...
