Blood Right

Ch. 4

I started feeling like I was being watched and soon heard something that sounded like footsteps behind, I did not dare look to see what was behind me. Without wasting a single minute, I take off running and not even bother to close the door. I start running up the stairs as fast as I can and hear fast footsteps behind me, so I pick up the pace and start going up the stairs faster. Reach the closet and run out along with throwing the door shut, the fast footsteps still following me. Get out the priest room, blow out the candles of the candle holder and throw it to the ground. Make it over to the entrance doors and start pushing one of them to open, but it won't budge and completely showing me that it's sealed shut.

With no way out and hear the footsteps coming, I go to the closest bench and get on the ground. Move underneath the bottom of the bench and remain completely still, being completely quiet. I hear the footsteps enter the room and start walking around, finding out that there are two pairs and feel my stomach turn. One pair goes to the left side group of benches, walks by each one at a time and stops.

Showing that their looking to find me and the other pair goes down the right side group of benches, which is the one that I'm at and does the same thing. My heart beats loudly in my chest and body starts shaking in fear but I try to stay calm, as every minute that passes by. It's completely nerve-wrecking and I do my best not to give away my position, the pairs of continue doing the same thing until the pair on the left stops at the last bench. The pair on the right is two benches away from me and I continue to do my best of remaining quiet, then the pair reaches the first bench and it's silent, reaches the second bench and it's silent.

The pair on the left walks over to the second bench, both walk over to the bench that I'm hiding at and there is silence. Then the footsteps start walking away, I quietly sigh in reliefe and decide to reach into my backpack. Take out my lighter and turn it on, once I did. My stomach dropped and felt fear take over me, there were two pairs of dress shoes standing directly next to me and I wanted to scream but nothing came out. It was like I lost my voice, I was consumed in fear so much that I passed out.

10 minutes pass

I slowly wake up and begin opening my eyes, start looking around. The room is lit up by many candles and I don't feel my backpack on my back, instead I feel it on the back of my head. My body is exhausted from the running and adrelaine, but I manage to sit up and touch my head while groaning in pain. I hear a almost human like voice.

"Are you okay?"

I turn to my right and look, there is a gray skin, eyes and nose, no mouth faced being kneeling next to me. My eyes widen in fear and my voice is gone again, I scoot away as much as I can without falling off of the bench and shiver in fear. The being stands up and takes a step back to give me some space, put's their hands up as sign of showing me that their not going to harm me and they speak again.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to harm you. I promise."

Hearing that, calms me a little and see four other beings like them. I shiver in fear again and look at them, scared and I speak in a very stuttering voice.

"A-Are t-they, g-going t-to?"

The being looks at them and looks back at me, answers.

"Their not going to harm you either."

After a couple of minutes, I finally calm down a bit and sit properly. The being takes a seat on one of the steps in front of the bench and I get a better look at them. They appear to be male and is wearing a male church black uniform that had a classic element symbol on each one with a necklace that had the same satanic symbol it just like the same on the staff along with white gloves, their faces appear to be a mask and their neck was pitch-black along with looking like skin. The one on the steps talks again.
