Flowers and weeds

CHAPTER 1

That was it. They were gone, no more, DEAD. It had all started when Ana was 17. She was planning to go to Africa for her gap year, She had saved up alot of money and was ready to go, Her boyfriend, Ben was excited for her but worried at the same time. The day before she left Ben suprised her by saying that he was going with her! Ana was suprised but kind of relieved. The next day, as they boarded the plane Ana waved goodbye to her anxious family. "Goodbye and stay safe" They shouted. Ana and Ben sat in there seats. Ben looked towards Ana and smiled but there was a tear in his eye that meant something wasn't right.

CHAPTER 2

She had asked him over and over what was wrong but he wouldnt answer. As the plane landed Ben looked more nervous than ever. The first chance they got to get off the plabe Ben was out as fast as he could. Ana manged to catch up with him and ask him if he was ok. There was silence. Suddenly Ben made a dash for the near by bin. He vomited harshly. When he had stopped Ana asked if he needed medical attention. Ben shook his head but suddenly went pale and fainted.

"Help, please, my boyfriend" Ana shouted.

Her call of distress caught the attention of a near by woman. The woman called an Ambulance straight away. Half an hour later it arrived. Ben got strapped to a bed and taken away. Ana was cold and scared but all she could do was pray.

CHAPTER 3

Ana was in the ambulance, tears streaming down her face.

"Wi, Will he be ok?" She asked shakely.

"Its hard to tell" Clara, one if the ambulance ladies said.

5 hours later Ana was sitting beside Ben who was laying on a bed hooked to a life support machine. Ana reached out to hold Ben's hand.

"It will all be ok" Ana whispered.

Just then a young, dark lady came in.

"Hi I'm Talia" She said

"I'm going to be Ben's nurse"

"What could of caused this?" Ana asked nervously.

"It was most likely anxioty" Talia said.

Talia got up to pull the curtain's around for privacy.

"What are you doing?"Ana asked.

"We need to check him over, thats all" Talia answered.

"Do you mind taking his top off?" She asked Ana.

Ana stood up gently and placed her hands on Ben. She took his navy blue top off so his chest was bare. When she saw him she gasped and quickly covered her mouth. Strapped to Ben was a highly explosive bomb with a red light flashing. There was also a clock which had 4:45 on it. Ana slowly turned to look at the plastic clock on the wall. The time was 4:42.

"We have to go now!" Talia said.

"But Ben" Ana wailed.

"NOW" Said Talia.

"I'm so sorry" Ana whisped as a tear slid down her cheek.

Ana started to run.

She ran out the hospital, far away.

She suddenly heard a bang behind her, she turned and saw no survivers, nothing. Ana fell to the ground crying, this was a time she needed help but there wasn't any.

CHAPTER 4

Ana was on the ground, she didnt know what to do. She knew she had to do something, but what? She got up and started to walk, and walk, and walk.There was nothing. Ana felt has if there was no hope until she came across a flower. She didn't know it but a series of these flowers could change her life. But of course when there are flowers there will always be weeds, weeds to distract Ana.

Ana walked to the flower and gently lifted its roots out. The flower had 5 petals and was red and spotty. Ana smiled as the flower made her feel happy. Thats when things started to change. Ana could start to see a picture in each of the 5 petals. In the first petal she could see Ben talking to a dangerous looking guy. Ben looked distressed. Ana started to cry as the second petal came into focus. She saw Ben on a table, unconscious, being strapped to the bomb. Ana looked at the third petal and saw her and Ben boarding the plane. The fourth petal showed Ben and Ana at the hospital. It was when she saw the fith petal she became confused. The fith petal had words, it said:

"To see what is next find the green and yellow striped flower"

"Thats it?" Ana said to herself, she was in the middle of nowhere and she had to find another flower!

The fith petal changed to a picture of  helicopter.

"What the hell is that meant to mea...."

Ana's thoughts were interuppted by the sound of a nearby HELLICOPTER.

"Great!, just what I needed" Ana said frustratedly.

The helicopter landed and a familiar looking woman stepped out. Ana noticed it was the woman  who had called the ambulance at the airport. The woman walked over to Ana but said nothing. She dropped a flower in Ana's hand. It was green, yellow and striped. The woman then left leaving Ana.
