I was left, half naked, on the table in our playroom. Jessica got up left the room, still only in underwear. I heard her talking on the phone to someone. I decided to ignore it and close my eyes. I rested for a while before finally getting up. I didn't bother to put my skirt or blouse back on. I slipped on Jessie's white t-shirt and went into the bathroom to clean myself up.
Jessica opened the bathroom door while I was brushing my teeth, "Get dressed into the outfit I like, I'm taking you out on a date, babe." I knew which outfit she was talking about. It was a grey sweater with button in the front, and a silhouette of a town at night on it. To go with it there were some short black shorts. I dressed myself, picking up my shoes, a pair of black ankle-lace up boots, and walked into the front room.
Jessica was waiting on the sofa, dressed in a shirt and a pair of tight fitting jeans. On her feet was a pair of maroon combat boots. She smiled at me, "Are you ready to go, princess?", I nodded and with that we headed out. Our dates were never something formal. This time was no different, as we walked into the park near by. It was around seven pm so it was calmingly peaceful. No children running around, no rushing cars going past, just us and the scenery.
Jessie lead me up to the swings, it was my favorite thing to do at the park. I sat down carefully on the swing as Jessica pushed me. I loved the swings because when I was up in the air, it was as if it cleared out my mind of all the anxiety and depressing thoughts.
After I had done relaxing on the swing, I was pulled towards a secluded picnic bench, surrounded by beautiful green trees. We sat there for awhile talking and eating our picnic. After we had finished it was now nine. We cleared up all our leftovers and trash and headed home.
This is when I would have my free time. Jessica would start working in her office, she was an artist for a gaming company. She designed the characters and the backgrounds for their games. I slouched onto the sofa, assuming the 'browse position' but instead with a book and not a laptop.
I read the night away until I heard the familiar chime of the clock, which signaled it was now midnight. I set my book down on the coffee table and started getting ready for bed. I pulled back the covers as I closed my eyes, subconsciously in the back of my mind, hoping and praying for something interesting to happen in my life.
