We don't get much feedback on our chapters so we don't know if what we're writing is good. This one post is just to see what you guys think about an excerpt of one of the new chapters.
Excerpt:
"I really wish your daddy was here." I pouted as I laid with Danielle.
Diggy has been gone for two days. He had to go in a trip with his manager to discuss his album. I've been staying at my parents' house to avoid being alone.
"Bahja!" I heard Emily, Lolo's friend, yell my name.
"What?!" I groaned.
"Can we go to the mall?" Lo asked.
"Nope, you can drive. I'm not your chauffeur." I rolled my eyes and continued playing with Danielle's baby hair as she played in mines.
"Please, the sale at Jimmy Jazz doesn't start until eight. I only have my permit and so do they. WE have curfew, you don't." Lo whined.
"I swear y'all get on my nerves." I groaned as I stood up.
"Y'all get Danielle ready while I put on clothes." they squealed as I walked into my closet.
I pulled on a white skater skirt and paired it with my black thick heeled, lace up booties. I pulled on a black long sleeved crop top that had "BADASS" in white, bold letters. I put on a thick gold chain and put oil on the tattoo of Daniel's name on my ankle.
I walked out of the closet and into my bathroom. I pulled my hair into a high bun and put on some face lotion. I did my winged eyeliner and put on some
mascara.
I walked out and they had Danielle dressed and ready to go in an all black outfit with her butter timbs.
"Go get in the car. You gotta put her car seat in the SUV. It's in the range." I said while looking for a purse.
"Why we gotta switch?" Reginae whined.
"Because, I wanna drive the SUV because I can put a movie in so Danielle won't get cranky!" I stuck y tongue out at her.
At The Mall.
"Shes right here, she's asleep." I spoke to Diggy over the phone.
"Where you at?" he asked.
"I took the girls out." I said as we walked into Jimmy Jazz. "Where are you?"
"I'm still in New York. I'll be back before you fall asleep, hopefully."
"Okay." I watched as the girls moped around. They probably didn't see what they wanted.
"Where are you guys anyways?" he sounded kind of nervous.
"Just out. I haven't spent much money so it's fine." I giggled.
"We can go now." Lo pouted.
"Well, I'll talk to you later." he hung up quickly
"Can we go to Gold Gods?" Emily asked.
"Yeah, I want another chain." Nae added.
We strolled to Gold Gods and Danielle was slowly waking up. She lazily laid in her stroller an looked at the stores we passed. She pointed at the outfits in the windows and the cute babies we passed.
"Daddy!" she pointed in Gold Gods and I followed her finger.
"Bahja, isn't that Diggy?" Emily asked.
I looked in and gasped as I stopped them from going in.
