"I'll have a double shot mocha with two spoons of sugar. And a Hot chocolate for this guy." Said Magnus. "You remember?" "How could I forget." "We've only got coffee once." "I know you like simple things. And your the only one I know who goes out for coffee and get a hot chocolate." (They both laugh.) "That will be 8.27" said the cashier. (Alec gets his wallet out.) "You think your paying? That's cute." Said Magnus as he pays for their drinks. (They sit down at a booth.) "Thanks for paying." "Of course. I've missed talking to you." "So have I. It's just I've.." "Been busy?" "Yeah." "I know that." "I'm sorry. I should have at least called or texted you back." "It's fine you have your duties and I have mine." "Yeah." (They talk for a while then Magnus walks Alec home.) "What are you doing this weekend?" "Nothing really why?" "Well there's a carnival in town. I was wondering if you would like to go with me?" "Carnival?" "You know where there's food, games, rides. It's a blast really." "I don't know. That doesn't really sound like my kind of thing." "This is a special warlock carnival. I'm sure you'll love it." (They stop at Alec's front door.) "Sure. Why not?" "Really?" "Yeah. It sounds kind of fun." "It is. I'll pick you up at 6 pm Friday night." "Ok. See you then." (Alec goes to his room and lays down on his bed. And thinks about Friday and how he get to spend time with Magnus.)
