Waking up the next morning in a panic to the smoke alarm going off in the room next door. The yelling coming from the other room made me realize that it wasn't just West and Misha making breakfast. Maison comes in and grabs my hand pulling me up the stairs to find west laying on the ground passed out. I recognized he was still breathing. Grabbing him and running out the door to find Misha walking back with coffee for me and him and juice for the kids, as well as a box of cinnamon rolls from my favorite bakery down the street with the little Armenian woman. He dropped all of it and ran to my side grabbing west from my arms as I call 911. West slowly comes to as Maison runs towards the house that is very obviously burning." Maison no!" I yell as she grabs the neighbors cat from the basement access on the side of the house is now in crumbles. The fire department and paramedics pull into the driveway putting out the fire and rescuing what I hope will someday be my son.  Misha rides with west to the hospital. I drop Maison off at Misha's parent's house.  I made my way towards the door with Maison asleep in my arms after a twenty-minute car ride.

" Jo? What's wrong? Are you ok?" Misha's Mother Rebecca met me at the door with twenty questions.

" Mom I need you to take Maison for a couple of days. I don't have any clothes for her anymore here is  100 dollars do what you need I will call with more information in a couple of hours. Maison sweetheart I love you I will be back for you. " I leave Maison in Rebecca's arms as I head for the hospital.  Walking into the room the random nurse lead me into I see Misha sitting in the chair next to west's bed with his head in his hands like he did when he feels guilty about something. " Honey" the words fell from my lips like the tears in Misha's eyes. He ran towards me like he was angry. I flinched when he touched me. The look of devastation and surprise that struck his face was heartwrenching. His body hit the floor and tears ran down my face. I wasn't afraid of Misha I was afraid of the way I assumed he would feel. I thought he would be disappointed in me for letting this happen. Maison had to wake me up I wasn't responsible enough to save a 4-year-old from the house that Misha and I shared.

" Daddy?" west asked for Misha like he had just woken up from a long nap on a road trip and didn't know where he was.

" West?" Misha and I spoke simultaneously. We were in shock he was awake this early.

" Hey West Nice to see your awake. Mr. and Mrs. Collins, can I talk to you in the hallway?" The doctor spoke in the most soothing way possible. " West is going to be fine he passed out most likely from the shock he is perfectly fine you guys can go home today."

Misha's tears began to run again and as I went to go hug him he pulled away from me. I didn't know what to do it was only fair what are we doing to each other. " Misha I love you but I don't know how to help you please tell west I love him I'm going to go for a while please understand why I am leaving. I am not mad at y-" I got cut off by his arms wrapping around me and him whispering the words" Please don't leave me" into my ear. The number of tears that were shed in those short 3 hours was comparable to a depressed high school student.

After being discharged and dropping west off at Misha's parents with Maison, Misha and I went back to what was left of the two-story home we had shared for almost 5 months. We walk in to see the rubbish that was once a beautiful house. After a short phone call with the fire department, we find out that they have no idea what started the fire.

" Am I more than you bargained for ya oh I'm dying to tell you anything you wanna hea-" Misha answered his phone after blushing at his ringtone... He secretly loves fall out boy. "Hello?"

Jensen's POV

" Hello," Misha answered.

"Hey buddy have you been home today the news says your house was on fire. "

" Yes it was and there is nothing left so Jo and I are figuring out where to go for now. The kids are with my parents." You could hear the depression in Misha's voice.

" Mish why don't you and Jo come live with us for a little while until you get back on your feet."

" No Jen I couldn't do that to you."

"  Misha don't worry about it I'll see you when you get here." I hung up the phone.

Jo's Pov

As I look at what used to be our bedroom Misha wraps his arms around my waist. I begin to pull away when he looks at me then realizing the tears that were falling down my cheeks.

" Honey it's all replaceable." Misha tried to calm me down but it wasn't working. Not a word came out of my mouth as I walked out of the crumbled room. After packing my clothing from a friends house I retreated to Jarred's house. Jensen said Misha and I could stay with him and Danneel but I couldn't face Misha. I had let this happen. He doesn't see it that way but it's true I wasn't responsible enough to wake up to a smoke alarm.  Jared wouldn't ask questions and I had become close to Genevieve.

After three days I decided it was time to make my peace with the man of my dreams. Pacing back and forth on Jared's dining room floor.  How was I supposed to know that I hadn't lost him.. what have I done?
