“So how has your tours been going Perrie?” I asked leaning over Niall’s lap casually with my chin in my palm. He was lightly stroking my back and Perrie beamed.
“It’s fantastic!”
“Oh god…” Zayn held his face in his hand and Perrie rolled her eyes and smiled at me.
“Like I was saying, it’s fantastic! I mean we get to travel everywhere and sing our songs to people who like our music! Then we do signings and see people wearing shirts with our faces on it and pictures and magazines for us to sign!” she rambled on and I chuckled. “Though there was this one little boy at an airport who-
“MY FAULT?! I’M JUST WORRIED ABOUT BEING SECOND CHOICE!”
“DANIELLE! YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU AND WOULD NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!”
“THEN MAYBE CALL ONCE IN A WHILE AND REASSURE ME! I DON’T KNOW! MAKE AN EFFORT!” I went wide eyed and immediately jumped up and ran towards the noise. I came to the spare room and stood at the door frame as Liam and Danielle was red faced angry at each other.
“What’s going on?!” Perrie yelled bursting into the room and the two looked at us. Liam glared at Danielle before storming from the room.
“I’ll be at the apartment! Come home when you’ve stopped being paranoid!” I went wide eyed and watched him stalk towards the front door. Danielle burst into tears and I looked back at her as Perrie comforted her.
“W-we can’t k-keep doing t-this.” She cried into Perrie’s neck as Perrie held her close.
“What happened?!” Zayn and Niall joined us. Zayn paced over and Niall held my shoulders and pulled my back into his chest.
“They were fighting and then Liam just left.” Perrie explained and Zayn patted Danielle’s back.
“It’s ok love. I know him very well. Give him time to cool off and he’ll come round.”
“B-but… we’ve f-fought like this for a m-month now.” Danielle sniffled and Perrie rubbed her back.
“How about some tea and biscuits yeah?” Perrie softly asked and Danielle nodded.
“O-ok.” She slowly stood up with Zayn and Perrie who led her into another room.
“Jesus… I shouldn’t have said anything.” I whispered and Niall shook his head.
“I could feel the tension in the living room. He needed an excuse to get out.” I sighed and we walked back to the living room where Perrie kept comforting Danielle.
“How about I invite Louis and Harry over to get her mind off of things?” Zayn suggested as I sat beside Danielle and pulled her into my side. She curled up in a ball and I pushed her curly hair from her face.
“What good will they do?” Perrie asked as Zayn got his mobile from the coffee table.
“Harry is good at comforting and Louis is an idiot. What more could you want?” I slightly smiled at idiot but rubbed Danielle’s back soothingly.
“He hates me…”
“No he doesn’t. He loves you very much. He’s just confused as you are.”
“Hello? Harry, its Zayn.” Zayn left the room and Niall reached out for some biscuits.
“Let’s watch a movie yeah?” Perrie suggested and walked to the TV cabinet.
“Make it comedy.” I said and stroked Danielle’s hair.
“Brother’s in law?” she asked and I shook my head. “Mean girls?”
“Do I need to slap you?” I lightly joked and Perrie smiled before looking back at the movies.
“T-the avengers?” Danielle sniffled and Perrie nodded.
“We should have that somewhere. We were watching last night actually.” She said and pulled out the DVD case.
“I’ll go get you a blanket yeah? Perrie, where do you keep you spare blankets?” I asked standing up and looked at Niall. “Please comfort her.” He bit his lip and slowly moved closer before awkwardly patting her shoulder. “Oh my god, comfort her Niall! I’m not the jealous type!”
“In the hall in the small cupboard on your first left.” I nodded at Perrie and left the room. I followed her instructions and opened the cupboard before taking out a light blue woollen blanket and a couple more other ones like it. Walking back into the room, Niall had Danielle in his chest and patted her back as I hand her a blue blankets. I put a green one beside Niall and a purple one over where Zayn and Perrie were sitting.
Niall let go of Danielle and I sighed before putting a blanket over her and getting her, her tea.
“Here sweetheart.” I whispered calmly and she took it sniffling.
“T-thank you…” she whispered and sipped at it. Perrie then stood up and pressed play on the remote.
“I’ll go check on Zayn.” I nodded as she left the room as sat between Niall and Danielle. Niall put a hand on my thigh and the movie started.
“He loves you Danielle. He really does.” I reassured and she sniffled.
“That’s n-not love…” she whispered and I smiled gently at her.
“No, that’s frustration and anger. Something most relationships have one time or another.” I said and she looked at me.
“W-we’ve been together s-since he tried XFactor…” she whispered and I nodded.
“Then don’t let anything get between you now.” I patted her knee and she nodded.
“O-ok.”
“Ok! Harry is going to call Louis and they’ll be here in about 30 minutes.” Zayn said as Perrie and he entered the room.
“You didn’t need to do that.” Danielle said as Perrie took her tea and snuggled in with Danielle.
“I know, but I hate to see you cry.” He whispered and Niall wrapped an arm around me.
“Princess.” He whispered and I turned before draping a leg over his hip.
“Yes Niall?”
“Can you pass me the tray of biscuits?” he asked like a child and I chuckled.
“Oh my god…” I smiled and got the tray and tilted the biscuits into his hands.
“Thank you. I love you!” he pecked my cheek and I put the tray back. We then all sat and began to watch the movie.
“Babe? Didn’t we watch this last nig-
“Yes now be quiet! Captain America will be on soon!” Perrie squealed and Zayn sighed before chuckling to himself.
