Chapter 10: The Table was Flipped by Karin

Today Satsuki just slept a little longer and much to her luck, Sasuke didn't wake her up at all. For weaking up late, she was then going through the punishment. The blue-eyed girl was practically running through the corridor, without caring whom she was running into. In the end of the day when she did able to reach to her cabin, first thing she did, she went to inform her boss. But before she would do that, she heard some muffle yelling, coming from the boss's room.

Hearing this, Satsuki first didn't want to enter in the room. It was sure that it wasn't really about any meetings and such, it only be some problem with any workers. Still, curiousity got the best of her and she went to peep through the door a little. What she saw, made her scaring a lot.

She saw the read-head Karin was kissing Sasuke! The Narukami girl never really thought of all people SHE would be Sasuke's girlfriend! Satsuki would be okay if it would be Sakura, but Karin? It's one hell of problematic! Not to mention, it also gave a lonely feeling to the blue-eyed girl's heart. Although she decided to ignore the feeling, and went back to her work.

She was doing her work a while now, since the area was quite for some unknown reason. But her silence didn't able to stay any longer, as the silence was destroyed by some kicking-stuff-away-type noise. Satsuki literally jumped in her chair for such sudden noise, which was really unexpected. When she looked up, she saw Karin was on the ground. Satsuki was amused to see her in this state, but her facial expression didn't waver. Karin was looking at the door, where the raven CEO was standing.

"B-But Sasuke-kun~" the female Uzumaki dragged the last letter 'n' in a flirtious way. Before she could state anything, Sasuke barked up saying, "get out from my sight!!" Venom was dropping from the Uchiha's voice. Hearing this Satsuki already stood up from her place. Karin somehow collected herself from the ground and walked away slowly, keeping her head down.

After Karin left the cabin, Sasuke sighed deeply. Shatsuki chuckled lightly and sat back on her sit, resuming her job. "You shouldn't do that you know." The Narukami girl stated politely.

"Even you think she is my girlfriend? What happened with you?" Sasuke stated in frustration, while sitting on the nearby chair of the her desk.

"You can't deny that you kissed her, do you? I saw you to do that." Satsuki quickly stole a glance of her boss and started to sign papers. A smirk was playing on her lips.

"I never did do that shit with her. She pulled me and kissed me! I didn't give it back!" Sasuke huffed.

"Oh really?" Satsuki looked up at the raven Uchiha and smirked. "Are you damn sure about that? Because I think otherwise." To tell you the truth, Satsuki maybe was playing with the Uchiha but she was feeling pain too much, if anyone could see her eyes attentively, he/she might understand that. She was good at hiding pain after all.

"Yeah, I am damn sure about this! I love someone that is true, but that 'someone' is obviously not Karin." Sasuke stated looking at opposite direction. Satsuki didn't say anything, looked down at the paper.

"I know she is damn lucky to have a boyfriend like you, Sasuke." Her this word made the raven CEO looked at the girl in disbelief, but Satsuki still looking at the papers.

"Why do you think like that?" Sasuke asked slowly.

"Because you have a good heart. You're such a gentleman...." Satsuki said almost like a whisper.

"Never thought I would hear that from you." After a few second of digesting the sentence she said, Sasuke stated in a simple way. Not to mention a little smile also playing on his lips.

"Then get used to it, you will hear it often from me." The blue-eyed girl smiled a little after this.

After talking like this a little more, the CEO walked into his own cabin to finish his work. Watching this the Narukami girl gave him her own bottle, saying he needed the water, which he took gratefully. She then started to do her work without any disturbance.

In the afternoon, Sasuke left her cabin saying he needed go first, since he would cook the dinner for both of them. Just before Satsuki could walk out of her cabin, she saw Karin was standing, leaning on the wall. "What do you want?"

"You love him, right? I mean Sasuke-kun." Karin asked sassily.

"What do you want to say?"

"Well don't love him, because he is already taken."

"What do you mean by taken?"

Karin then hold up her hand. "This is the engagement ring. It means both of us are engaged."

"So why Sasuke kicked you out then?" The Narukami girl furrowed her brows.

"Because you saw us kissing each other."

"What?"

"That's true my girl. Sasuke doesn't want anyone to see both of us together. He always want to hide us from everyone but it's true, both of us together for 2 years." Karin crossed her arms.

'They are together for 2 years? Then why he lied to me about that kiss?' Satsuki couldn't able to understand at all.

"Yeah, that's right. What he told you everything is lie! If you think he was thinking about you it's all a big lie! Don't you ever think, just because he felt something, that's why he was helping you all the time. No never! But he told me the truth. Do you know what's the truth?" Karin said in a deep voice.

"What's it?" Satsuki was afraid to hear the actual answer.

"The truth is he just did it, because he saw you in that state. He never wanted to help you, he did it because if he didn't, people will see it in a bad manner. Simply put, you're just a burden of Sasuke Uchiha!!"

Satsuki Narukami's eyes became widen. Her blue piercing eyes started to waiver in pain. The words "burden of Sasuke Uchiha" were going through her mind over and over again. To say the truth, she never get this much pain in a while, since she was forced to see her parents' death. No I took that back. She felt this pain much more than the other. The blue-eyed girl looking at the ground with wide eyes. On the other hand, the read-head Uzumaki was smirking evily.

"If you want to take my advice, then just disappear from both of our life. It would be easy for both of us. You are feeling too much pain, I know. So don't make yourself heartbroken. If you want to save yourself, take my advice." Karin said in almost sympathic tone and walked away, leaving Satsuki behind.

Satsuki couldn't able to believe what she heard from Karin. One time she did though it's all a lie, nothing was right, but she couldn't bring herself to do so. She was desparately trying to think everything is a nightmare. But this was reality, and reality was always too cruel to everyone. She couldn't able to think about anything she slowly made her way to their house.

She thought all the way back to their home and she made up her mind. It would no longer be their house. She would protect her heart no matter what happened in the world. She would do it, no matter what happened.

When she reached to the home, she did neither talk to Sasuke, nor she tried to eat a lot. After eating, she walked to her room after saying goodnight to him and looked the door and started to pack her stuff. Sasuke thought she might be tired too much that she wanted to sleep, but who knew that the table already fliped by Karin?
