I walk to first period with my best friends; Karmin and Raven, we three have all of our classes together so it makes it fun. We have the same work, same teacher, and same mouth and attitude which gets us in trouble a lot and if one of us is in trouble then all three of us are. Our first class is physical education and we all dread it. It’s not because we’re not good at it because we are. We just don’t like it because we can’t let loose which we really like to do. We get to the gym and go change into our shorts and tank tops. Our teacher, Mrs. Briggs, has us sit in the bleachers why she call’s roll.
“God she needs to put on longer shorts.” Raven says as she looks at Brianna, she is the girl who sleeps with everybody and everything that both moves and is sexy. She doesn’t like us and we don’t like her and this class is where we like to dish our anger out on her and vice versa. This class has its ups and downs and this is an up.
“No joke there isn’t even any guys in here and she still dresses like that seriously.” Karmin says as she looks at me and asks “you okay?” all I do is nod she turns away but I know she doesn’t believe me so I’m either about to be hounded by questions or they will just leave it alone. They both look at me, luck isn’t on my side today yeah I’m about to be interrogated, yay. Note the sarcasm.
“What’s wrong and don’t say nothing. Ever since your honey boo left you have been sad and non-talkative so what’s wrong?” asked Raven. God why can’t they just leave it alone please somebody or something save me from this moment.
“Miss. Tate, Miss. Cole is something wrong?” asked Mrs. Briggs. I have never like teachers but thank God they are here. The shook their head no and then she kept on talking about what we were doing today. So it turns out that the guys will be joining us in dodge ball today which will be really fun because Mike, Gabriel, and Alexander is in there so we can let loose on them but we will have to hold back on the others. Sucky I know but with our powers we can hurt them real bad and apparently that is a no no.
We divided into our teams. Half of the girls are with the boys and half the boys are with the girls. The whistle blew and everything started. I, Raven, and Karmin wait until a ball comes our way and we grab it and throw it back hitting people after people. We played for like five minutes and everybody was out except for me, Karmin, Raven, Mike Gabriel and Alexander. It is always like this and I mean always whenever the guys come to play the girls stay together on a team and the boys stay together on the other team just so we can let loose on each other which is really fun. I can already tell you how it’s going to play out, Karmin is going to take out Alexander, Gabriel takes out Raven, I take out Gabriel then it’s a showdown between me and Mike which in the end it ends up being either a tie or the game doesn’t get finished.

Well I was right. Right now it’s a showdown between me and Mike. We are throwing and dodging balls left and right. This morning dream keeps coming back to me and this is a bad time for them to come back, well good for me bad for my opponent. I grabbed the ball a chunked it with a lot of force probably too much and hit him in the chest and he fell backwards. I rushed to his side.
“I’m so sorry.” I said as I crouched down beside him.
“Hey Jade. You actually won. It wasn’t a tie or an unfinished game this time you actually won. Now help me up and it’s okay I promise.” he said as he stuck his hand in mine and I helped him up.
“Hey somebody finally won this round.” Mrs. Briggs said as she came over to us and shook my hand it was really awkward when she pulled me into a hug and said “I know what you are and what you can do please stay after school today with your friends so we can talk.” I was too shocked to say anything so I didn’t do anything. The bell rings and I go change and go to English class with all my friends.
