Chapter 3

- Here we are together.  everything between us is good .  I'm right in this cloud baby .  ready to fly but before I take another step.  would you catch me if I fall for you?  I'm falling.  I'm falling I'm fallin.  so use to standing.  I'm so use to be on my own.  this ain't new baby .  feels like I'm losing control. -  Leela James -Fall for you   -Diamond-  I woke up to the smell of bacon. Believe me I know my food. I dragged myself out of the bed, grabbed my phone and headed downstairs to see Earl cooking. I sat at the table looking at a few text I had from D'jaun.  -Baby, I'm sorry please come home-  |5:00|  -I'm really getting impatient ....-  |7:15|  -Come home RIGHT NOW!- |7:59|  I laughed at the last one. I looked up and seen Earl sat a plate in front of me then sat down to eat for himself.  "Why your so happy all the time?" If only he knew.  "Nothing I'm amused by my Ex boyfriend" I began to eat. He nodded his head.  Antoinette came down the stairs buttoning up her shirts at the top. She walked past us grabbing a piece of bacon.  "Hey, baby I made you a plate" Earl said.  She bit into the bacon.  "Ant, why don't you join us yo man can cook girl." I added. Antoinette got a napkin and spit the half chewed up bacon in it. I guess she didn't like his cooking.  "I'm already late and Im just not hungry" she threw the napkin away and walked out tthe front door.  I continued to eat until I heard little sniffles. I looked at Earl and seen him wiping a tear. I didn't like the way she was treating him. I also never seen a man cry before. I didn't say anything to him because his feelings was hurt.  "You food is really good, don't worry about her she has been like That since high school." I rubbed his back.  "Its fine, I don't know what her problem is but ever since our little argument of her coming in at all times of night she has been acting strange." I never new Antoinette had problems. In highschool she was perfect but now its like both her's and my life is falling apart.  "Like I said don't worry she'll come around."  "I always tell myself that but that will never happen,  I know the saying 'Never say Never' but fuck that I'm saying it"  He got up and threw his plate in the sink and left to his room. I went in my room to get cleaned up. I didn't have anything over here to wear so I put on something of Antoinette's . I need to go and get my things from the house. I went downstairs and called a cab.  "Your leaving" I turned and seen Earl sitting on the stairs.  "Yeah, don't worry I'm coming back" I walked over and sat next to him.  "Why do you always tell people not to worry when its a lot of things to worry about" he said. It was true there is plenty to worry but why?  "I hate seeing others hurt so I tell them that to make them feel good I guess"  He looked me in my eyes.  "You make me feel good." He kissed my lips. I kissed back. I knew I was wrong but heck it, It felt so right. I pulled away and lean his head to mine.  Beeeppppp!  I ran to the window and seen the cab was outside.  "uhh I gotta go" I said grabbing my purse off the stairs.  "where?"  "I'm suppose to be getting my things from D'juan house"  "Your ex?" He raised and eye brow.  "Yeah, I ne-" he cut me off.  "Call off the cab ill take you"  I ran out and told the cab he could go. He said he wasn't going until I payed him $14 for having him running the meter. I thought you wasn't suppose to start the meter until the person actually get in the cab. I didn't argue with him I gave him his money and waiting on earl to come out.  -Earl-  I don't know what came over me when I kissed her, I guess she gives me the attention Antoinette refuses to give me ....or she just chooses not to.  I don't understand why someone so beautiful could get abused and beat up on by someone so..so...I cant even find a damn word.  Diamond was in the front seat on snapchat.  "Hey snappers, Look y'all my new bae--I mean bestfriend Earl." she turned the camera to me. I head nodded and pulled out the driveway heading to this panty nigga house.  "You really gone post that?" I was surprised.  "Yeah, what's wrong with it?"  "1. You too damn old to be snapping 2. You call me bae then said "I mean bestfriend"  "Yeah, your right about the second thing but being to old for Snapchat ....Negative if anything your never to old" She said then went back to her phone.  "O, so what your saying is you want to be 87 years old and posting picture to your story with a winkle ass face, bald spots along with little string of hairs coming from certain places"  She went to speak but I interrupted her again.  "Not to mention you'll be smiling with false teeth" I said giving myself a little chuckle.  "Hit a backflip and pause" she said putting her index finger up. "Who said any fucking thing about teeth falling out?"  I strugged my shoulders. "I don't know I'm just trying to prove a point that at some period of time your going to damn old to be taking selfie and group photos and all that other shit you girls are doing in your photos?"  "Name some?" She sat up in her chair.  " What?"  "You said all that other shit we be doing in our photos, Name some?"  "Lets see, sticking y'all tongue out,  sticking your lips out, looking to the side, playing in your hair, turning your back from the camera, oh lets see how about you girls video,  y'all be twerking, acting like you just came back from somewhere but ya ass been at home all day, goodmorning post-"  She cut me off. "Whatever,  yo ass probably don't even got no followers on instagram and shit talking all through your teeth"  I pulled into ole dudes drive way.  "I have followers,  24.3k at that and I have 1.1k pictures posted." I got out the car and closed the door.  "This conversation went from being to old for snapchat to how many followers we have on instagram but to throw you in a ditch I have 28.6k followers and I have 1.0k pictures posted."  She walked to the front door with me behind her. She acting as if I was in comparison with her. I was just being funny old Earl. We walked in. The first thing I smelled was SEX but she didn't notice instead she went upstairs and pack. I stayed downstairs. I looked around and see some red stilettos.  I could have swore they were Antoinette that I bought her but I didn't want to assume. Diamond was taking to long. I walked upstairs to her room and seen that nigga D'jank or whatever the fuck his name is choking Diamond. I simply punched his ass in his face. I heard something snap and he hit the ground. I picked Diamond up and head out the house. I put diamond in the car and left.  (A/N: I really and honestly don't feel like describing all the detail on the way home. I'm skiping back to Earl's house)  I brung Diamond in the house. I turned the lights on and seen Antoinette on the couch looking mad as hell.  "Earl you told me you'll be here when I get home" She said clearly pissed off. For what?  "Yes I know I did babe but Diamond wanted to go get her things so I took her when I went upstairs that pussy was in there choking her so I knocked his ass out cold"  Antoinette rushed and slide on her shoes.  "Where are you going?" I said  "To check on him, I know how you get when your mad besides he works with me I don't really want to be fired cause D'juan is a big little snitch" She left.  Diamond woke up in my arms. She stretched out her arms like a princess waking up. I smiled. She opened her eyes and smiled back. I put her down.  "My head is banging" She laughed.  "Yeah D'juan nigga put his hands on you again but don't worry I put his ass-"  She started to panic. I tried to calm her down but she got her shoes on.  "Let me see your keys" She put her hands out.  "Why"  "Just give them to me Dammit"  I handed her my keys and she left out. I ran after her only to see she was long gone.  -Diamond-  I pulled up at D'juan's. I walked in and heard laughing. I followed the laughter it lead to D'juan's room.
