Finding Love (My Fanfic with Shin Uchiha, and Sinon My OC)

Afterschool

After we finished class I took Shin to my favorite sushi restaurant. which in hindsight might have been a bad idea because it was super fancy and the two of us eating seemed like a date at that place. 

"Wow, I had no idea how fancy this place was... I should've changed before I got here," Shin said looking around. 

"No, it's fine, it looks fancy, but they like it when customers keep things casual, trust me," I said smiling. 

"Oh, that's good," Shin said relaxing a bit. 

"Hey, welcome back Sinon, and you have a nice young man with you as well," Gus the owner said when he walked over. 

"G-Gus," I said blushing. 

"Oh, is it not like that?" Gus asked looking at me inquisitively. 

"I mean... is it?" I asked shin. 

"I mean... Kinda," Shin said smiling and putting his hand on my hand. 

"Oh, awesome," I said to Shin smiling and blushing. probably saying awesome was a dumb response but I didn't know what to say, I was freezing up. 

"Just keep your mind clear and you'll be fine," Gus said putting his hand on my shoulder. 

"Thanks, you've always been so nice to me whenever I come here," I said to Gus smiling. 

"Let me know if you need anything, I'll send over two root beers," Gus said to me. 

"Oh I love root beers," Shin said smiling and giggling, he squirmed around in his chair a little bit. 

"Sorry, I'm just nervous," Shin said to me scratching his head. 

"Oh I thought I was the only one," I said releasing a breath and giggling a little bit, Shin was sitting across from me, and while he usually had a calculating look, he now had a sweet and sensitive, he relaxed a little bit and took a sip of water.  

"well, um tell me about the sound village," I said to Shin. 

"umm, well most people think that the sound Village is a lawless wasteland," Shin started to say. 

"And they're wrong?" I said. 

"no, they're mostly right, but the new mayor is starting to combat crime, and turn the sound village into a nice community that people can visit without getting mugged...or stabbed...or killed I guess, There's a lot of organized crime there too, so it's not going to be easy, and our mayor is in constant danger, so it's kind of a matter of time before he dies," Shin said, a waiter came and dropped off two root beers. 

"So um, what do you think of Konoha so far?" I asked Shin as I took a sip of my root beer. 

"Umm, it's nice, and there are tons of nice people, like you, and Boruto as well, and so many others," Shin said to me smiling. 

"Yeah I guess things here have calmed down quite a bit, and it's kind of relaxing at this point," I said to Shin as the waiter came back to take our orders. 

"Umm, I'll have the PWCD sushi I guess," I said to the waiter as he wrote it down on a little sketch pad.

"Umm, I guess I'll have the same, I don't really know sushi that well," Sinon said smiling, as he said this he scratched his head again, which I found to be a little weird. 

"Hey, why do you keep scratching your head?" I asked him once the waiter was gone. 

"Oh, I don't know, I guess I always do that when I don't know something, or if I'm thinking," Shin said to me, as he did this he scratched his head again.
