Walking down the hallway the Enchantress reached her destination. The infirmary.
Pulling the knob she entered the facility where her trainer was. Their medics were supposed to treat him after their mock fight earlier. Her fangs had sunk pretty deep in his flesh, leaving his neck a bloody mess, not counting the other wounds he supported. She found two nurses tending to him which she quickly dismissed with little persuasion. Her powers took her by surprise when she first found them, but this she kept to herself.
"Winter. " she called to the dark haired man, who immediately opened his eyes to look at her. She didn't know his real name, nor did he, but that's what he told her to call him. When asked how he should call her, the first thing that popped in her head was the word 'sea'... So...
"Hali. " he acknowledged her presence, then her outfit. "The mission? "
"Completed. "
"Troubles? " he saw how she kept looking at the door, her ears flinching at the slightest noise while her eyes darted fast around the room.
"A man. Agent Percy Jackson. " she dug around in her jacket's pocket until she retrieved an item which she put in his hands. "This is his. It looks familiar. He did too. " the soldier took a good look at the necklace, more importantly at the beads on it, which appeared to be made by children in his opinion. "His profile? " she asked which ment 'Do you know his profile? '. Judging by the empty looks in his eyes when he looked at her, she concluded it was a negative.
"This one... Seen it before. " his voice made her look at him in curiosity while he pointed at the bead that made her think of the empire state building. He went on when he saw her looking. "There was also a ring and a pendant on the necklace. "
"Pendant? " the girl asked but her keen hearing caught a set of footsteps coming their way, which made her snatch the necklace back and hid it before the doors opened, in walking Strucker holding two files in front of him.
"Ah! It's good to see you two in the same place. I need you to retrieve something for me. " he passed them each a file, before he began to explain the contents. "Our experiment needs a good power source, similar to one of Stark's arc reactors. " the name made the girl's eyes stop skimming the pages in the file. Stark?
An image of a man with brown eyes and dark hair with a goatee flashed in her mind, before it was gone in an instant.
"Since those are hard to come by, we researched and luckily for us MIT decided to have a science fair. One of their students designed something that might help us, similar in power reading to an arc reactor. The student's name is Peter Parker. "
Pain flared up in her head, a little above her ear, her heart throbbing when she heard the name, but she bit her lip to hide it all.
Laughter. Joy. Sadness. A boy with a mob of unruly brown hair. He was stuttering.
Her heart clenched again when she saw another image of the boy looking away from her.
"You'll retrieve his device. " were the words that brought her back into reality. "Heal him and proceed with the mission. I trust you won't fail me. " the scientist pointed to Winter before he turned around and left the room. They waited a bit longer before the man got down from the bed and stood in front of her.
"This is your chance to find more about this agent. "
"But the mission-" he cut her off.
"I'll handle it. You sneak in, find a computer and do your research. "
Sneak in a college? Pfft, piece of cake.
That's what she thought as she used her water powers to heal Winter as she thought what to wear to blend in.

At MIT many people gathered to watch the latest inventions of this generation, representatives being also present there from different companies capable of mass producing a profitable product. Cameramen and reporters from different channels registered everything, taking interviews from both teachers and students, with the occasional company representative mixed in between.
