I woke to the sound my vibrating alarm clock. That's when i knew it was morning. It didn't seem like such a drag to wake up early anymore, even if it was my summer break and i could sleep in until whatever time pleased me. These days i actually enjoyed waking up early. I longed to be at the library again for the chance that i might see him again. The mystery man. After processing my excitement for today's library adventure, i went about my normal morning routine and i headed for the library when finished. As i entered the library, i went to sit in my usual spot but i noticed there was people sitting there which was unusual at this time in the morning so i searched for another comfortable place to read and wait for him. I looked around me and saw that the only free table and chair was the one to the left of where he normally sat, he wasn't at the library yet so i headed for the spot beside the place where he usually sat. I didn't want to take his usual spot and start an argument. I walked over slowly focusing on the book i was about to read, not looking directly in front of me but when i finally did look up i fell to the floor and so did he.
Just then in that moment, i realised that we had bumped into each other, i was so embarrassed that i didn't want to raise my head and look at him. He got up from the floor a lot quicker than i did and that's when he placed his hand in front of me clearly trying to help me up. I placed my hand in his. His hands were warm and were pretty soft of a boy.
"I'm so sorry, i wasn't looking where i was going" i said quietly, looking into his ocean blue eyes. He looked at me and half smiled out of pity and said "It's quite alright, i wasn't looking either"
He leaned down the the floor and picked up the book i had dropped.
"Great book, IT is a classic" he complimented me. "Ehm, thank you" i said softly. "My name is Leo" He held his hand in front of me and i shook it. "M-my name is August" i shuttered.
"Nice to meet you, August" He said my name so softly, i always hated my name but the way he said it made me fall in love with it. "You too" i said as he smiled and walked away to find his seat.
