When she was broken

A Week Later

(Harry's P.O.V)
Ever since Ron and Hermione broke up, she has been acting strangely, happy. She's always smiling and when ever Ginny or I catch Malfoy giving her looks and tell her she blushes. The other day in potion class we were learning about the Amortenia potion and she said that she smelt musky copper cologne. She also always goes to the R.O.R (room of requirement) to go and study and then stays there all night.

Hermione walks into the great hall and then right after she enters Malfoy comes in a few seconds after. She takes a seat a cross from me at our Griffiondor table. "Good morning Hermione" I say to her with a smile. "Good morning Harry" she replied with a smile as well. She sits down and slowly fills her plate with food and then eats it every so slowly, while on the other hand Ron is stuffing his face nothing out of the ordinary. As Hermione eats she keeps taking glances at another table. "Hermione who are you looking at?" I question her looking behind me to see if anyone's looking back at her. I don't see anyone, except ZABINI!! "Why is Zabini looking at you, more importantly, why are you looking at Zabini?" I question her once more. Hermione drops her fork and her face turns pale when I mention the Slytherin "W-W-What why would you think that Harry?!" She asks me wide eyed. "Because A: you've been acting weirdly all week and B: you keep staring in his direction" "well I'm not ok" she says picking up her fork. All of a sudden we hear Zabini yell "WHAT THE BLOD-"and then get cut off "Relax Harry" Ron says "she's probably just moody because it's her time of the month" Ron says chucking at his joke. Hermione's face turns red and she slams her fists on the table and loses it on Ron. "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY THAT RON IM NOT MOODY AND JUST TO BE CLEAR ITS NOT THAT TIME OF MONTH AND IM NOT STARING AT ZIBINI" she yells and scolds at him. "Now, if you'll excuse me!" she says walking away. "Ron!" Ginny scolds smacking his arm.

As soon as Hermione is out of the great hall I look back at the Slytherin table and see that Zabini isn't there anymore witch just confirmed my theory. "My theory is right" "what?" Ron asks confused with his mouth full of food and a piece of Bacon hanging out of his mouth "come with me!" I say grabbing Rons shirt collar and dragging him out of the great hall.
