Later that night at Katy's house; "Oh man oh man, what did I do?! Matt asked me out on a date and I freaked and ran before I could even think about answering! I'm such a loser.... But he asked me, of all the cute girls in there, to go on a date with him..... Oh my face is turning red just thinking about it! I should go back and tell him I'm sorry, that I had an emergency and couldn't respond just then... But then I'd be lying! Oh Muffin! What do you think I should do?" Muffin, Katy's cat, stares blankly back at Katy, then proceeds to clean himself. "Of course I shouldn't go to him.... He's probably already on a different date with some other girl...." 'Ding-Dong!' "That's probably the pizza guy. One second Muffin. I have to go grab the pizza. I'll be right back."
Matt: "Are you sure this is a good idea man? I mean, roses? Don't you think a note would have been sufficient? What if she's allergic to roses?"
Me: "Oh it'll be fine man. They're plastic anyways. Unless she's allergic to paper or ink then she's probably fine. Just stop worrying! You remind me of my sister. The nine year old. You're so whinny."
Matt: "I am not whinny! I'm just overly cautious and like to express that caution frequently... Wait! Here she comes." I can do this. Be brave.
Katy: Usually the pizza guy rings it a couple times... Maybe he's just had a rough day. Wait.... He's talking to himself. He really has had a rough day. Although, that doesn't sound like the pizza guy...
Matt: She's opening the door... No going back now...
Katy: Oh... Oh man... It's Matt... He's here... How did he know how to find my house? Wait. Pizza guy? What's he doing with Matt? It doesn't matter... He's here... And I'm blushing... Oh no... Why hasn't he said anything... He's blushing too... He's so cute when he blushes... Are those roses...? He's such a doofus... "Uh..."
Matt: Oh man she's blushing... She's amazing... "Uh, hey Katy... I, uh, wanted to apologize for earlier when I asked you about tonight... I brought you some roses and a note explaining things but I just wanted to make sure you got it... You know how the mail system is, ha ha..." Why am I so stinking awkward...? Ugh...
Me: "Hey Katy! Your pizza is in the car, I just wanted to make sure that this dork didn't run off before you came to the door. I'm Mike, Matt's best-friend. That might explain some things."
Katy: Oh wow. That actually does explain a lot... "Thanks Mike... A-and t-thanks Matt... Those are n-nice roses... Are they plastic...?" He wanted me to keep them for forever... He's so sweet...
Matt: "Uh... Yeah, they are actually... Sorry... I'm just gonna go... Here's the note... And the roses... I'm sorry Katy..." I'm an idiot... Complete and total idiot... Should've gotten real roses...
Katy: Wait, what? He can't leave... I'm the one that should be apologizing... "N-no... Matt... Y-you don't have to l-leave... I t-think the roses are really sweet..." My face has never ever in my entire life been as red as it is now... Whoa... He has an amazingly cute butt... Oh man may face just went so much farther red... Oh man...
Matt: Did she just say the plastic roses were sweet...? "What...? You want me to stay? I thought you would hate me after what happened at Starbucks today... I embarrassed you in front of everyone..."
Me: "I'm gonna go get the pizza. This might take awhile."
Second installation. Second cliff hanger. Haha!! Come back in three days for the next update!
