"Wanna soda or something?" he batts his eyelashes, his tall lengthy self hanging over me as he filled a cup with coffee. There was something about him, that reminded me of my old high school boyfriend.

"I thought we agreed on coffee," I yawn, grabbing my own cup to fill, "I used to be addicted to soda. next came drugs and cigarettes." My tone is sarcastic.

He chuckles, and follows with a brief shrug, "That's how it usually goes."

I fill up my cup, tucking a loose piece of my hair behind my ears, "Without a doubt."

"Hey Skeet," a group of ratchet looking girls approach him, wearing little clothing. "I haven't seen you in a while, wanna come to my party tomorrow night?"

He eyes me, before drawing his eyes back to them, "Why not, don't got anything else to do. You down to go?"

"Me?" I shove my hands into my pockets, and send him a questioning glance, "Yeah. Maybe." It wasn't good for me, I shouldn't go.

He slyly puts one arm around me and awkwardly grimaces at the girls. "If you guys didn't know, this is my best friends sister. Fenix."

Why was I in this situation? His arm is around me, and he is acting like we're close.

He smirks at me, "Come on baby cakes. See you at the party Gretchen and Chelsea."

They bit their lips, acting like complete sluts, "Of course we don't. We'll always save ourselves for you Skeet."

They walked away, somehow mesmerized. I just didn't understand how he had so much control over the girls. I mean, he was extremely hot. But also kind of a weirdo. And a complete fuckboy. "Oh my god," I rolled my eyes, "I knew you were one of those guys."

"What do you mean?" he hopped in front of me, just as I started walking towards the cashier.

"Oh nothing," I gave him a genuine smile, procrastinating the speech I was preparing in my head. Because fuckboys.... they deserve to be told off. And a girl like me, also needs to hear a little speech every now and then.

The jackass grabbed my ass just as I stepped in line, and of course I gave him a steamy glare. Only adding sentences to my little speech. Which, I would spill after he paid for my stuff.

Which he in fact did. And I was obviously grateful. But as soon as we entered that truck of is, I  began ranting, "First off, what makes you think grabbing girls asses is okay?  Especially in public! You can't treat girls like a Barbie doll, just something to play with every here and there. You are acting like a complete fuckboy. Especially towards those two girls! No respectable girl wants to be in a relationship like that. Especially where she can't trust her man. If you actually want a relationship honey, you're going to have to stop acting like a damn high school student."

He started his engine, laughing, "Aw baby, I was just trying to make you jealous. That's how they want me to act. I'm not like that anymore, I promise."

I glared at him, crossing my arms, "You grabbed my ass you fucking fool."

He leaned in close, whispering in my ear, "Because I like you."

He pulled away, and I continued to scowl, "You fucking like me? Oh my god, I'm a damn high school student telling my crush I like her. Bullshit Skeet! You don't have the guts to like me! Besides, it hasn't even been a day."

He took a deep breath, "Okay, maybe I don't like you. But you're smoking hot. And I love girls who play hard to get. You genuinely seem like you have a good personality. And I'm willing to fight for my best friends sister."

I slouched deeper into the beaten up seat, "Whatever you say Mr. Ulrich......" But I knew this lust he had for me wasn't going to last very long.

We drove back to my sisters house, and I was nervous when he locked the doors, not allowing me to get out of the truck. "Look, I know we've only been around each other for a few hours. And I'm not asking you out or anything. Just know, that I'm not the guy you think I am. I swear to god! And  I really am not  going to stop until I get you."

I leaned against the window and nodded my head, "Sure, Whatever......"

"What? You don't  believe me?" he pulled out a cigarette, and rolled down his windows. Before handing me one, "Please believe me."

I unlocked the door, "I've been in prison for so long. I need to take a walk. I might even camp outside."

I noticed how long his eyelashes were, viewing his side profile, "Can I, join you?" I watched as he blew out the smoke. Making me melt.

"I mean.... I guess."

"Stop," he leaned across the center counsel, grabbing my arm, "Stop acting this way. We will be together eventually."

I sighed, shaking my head, "I just got out of prison. I need time to before jumping into relationships. Can we just be friends?"

He gawked, "What the fuck ever."

He chased me out of the car, causing me to fall into a pile of leaves as he hovered over me, "You know, you're still creepy as hell in my point of view. I still think of you the same way as when I got here."

He randomly poked my red nose, "Whatever you say."

I dodged out from under him, making my way into the Forrest. Still able to hear his dramatic footsteps running after me. Until suddenly, I found a little cave to smuggle myself into. And thankfully, he ran right past it.

So I thought....

He popped in front of me, causing me to jolt backwards and collide with a pointy rock. "Oh my god.... I'm so sorry!" I was now lying inside of the dark cave, feeling my head ache, and my vision become blurry.

"Fenix!!!" he shouted, helping me up and kissing the top of my head, "I'm so sorry!"

"Dude, it's fine," I tried to see clearly, not wanting to seem weak in any shape or form.

"Are you okay? I heard screaming," Aniyah came rushing into the Forrest, somehow hearing our commotion from the house, "I was watering my plants out back ."

"I'm fine," I repeated myself, "Just a goose ache."

"You haven't even been here for 4  hours and you two are already buddy buddy. I thought you hated the guy," she mentioned, and I rolled my eyes.

"Well, I feel like we're going to be good friends," I exclaimed, and he shrugged his shoulders. Seeming taken back by my comment. Which was truthful.

"Right.... come on Skeet, let's go watch some horror movies," yes, I forgot they were best friends. And actually hang out.
