yoongi stopped in the middle of the street, waiting for the pink haired boy to get in the cab. it was freezing outside and the guy was making the cold enter the car, he was talking to a taller boy [note; talking = arguing] and gosh, he had such a high pitched voice. it sounded annoying.
"uhm, excuse me sir," he turned to face the backseat where the pink haired boy was watching him, his cheeks were slightly red and he couldn't tell if it was caused by the cold or the embarrassment. "i need to work so if you aren't getting in then let me leave."
pinkie -he decided to call him like that- bowed his head, apologizing under his breath. yoongi rolled his eyes as pinkie got in the cab and looked outside the window, where the taller guy was staring at him with a frown on his lips.
"to the nearest park, please."
yoongi nodded and started driving.
"i'm jimin." pinkie -jimin- said, his eyes looking like half moons as he smiled brightly and extended his arm to the driver. he nodded again. "you know, it's rude not to answer when someone talks to you."
"and it's dangerous to talk while driving."
jimin sat back and huffed, he looked at the back of yoongi's seat and saw the driver's information card.
YOUR DRIVER IS: MIN YOON GI
CAB N: 1736
PLEASE DO NOT SPEAK TO THE DRIVER TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS."so, min yoongi, how old are you?"
"can't you see it says not to talk to the driver?" yoongi slowed down as he passed by an stop sign.
jimin whined, "but i'm bored and sad."
"play with your phone."
"i left it at taetae's place."
"not my fault."
it was quiet for a moment as yoongi drove and jimin looked out of the window. just because his day couldn't get worse, they were stuck on traffic.
"shit, shit, shit." yoongi sighed, hitting his head with his hands. "hey kiddo, we're stuck."
the pink haired boy looked up from the window and leaned towards the front seat. "oh."
"yes, oh. sorry if you were in a rush."
"no, it's okay. i just wanted to get away from taehyung."
he knew he shouldn't, he fucking knew he would regret it later but he still asked, "why?", and that's when he wanted to burn himself.
"w-well, you know, taehyung wanted to date me but i said no because my best friend kookie is kind of in love with him and saying yes would be rude, right?" before he gave yoongi the chance to answer, he continued talking. "so i told him 'i'm sorry tae buy i can't be with you', just like in the soap opera my mum used to watch, it was good i don't know why they cancelled it- anyway, he tried to convince me to give him a chance and that kookie wouldn't have to know about us but, i'm not even interested in him so why would i say yes?"
yoongi closed his eyes and counted to ten to calm himself down. the boy was annoying as hell.
"and i said, 'i'm sorry but i have a boyfriend!' and he told me that was bullshit and that's when you came so i said no but he kept asking me out."
he frowned, jimin may sound annoying but no one deserves that kind of treatment. he wanted to punch that taehyung guy.
"why didn't you punch him?" i need to stop asking questions.
the pink haired boy gasped. "because that would be rude!"
"from what you're telling me, the other guy sounds like he deserves it."
"no one deserves to get punched."
"some people do, you're just a softie."
jimin frowned, and opened his mouth to say something but closed it and hummed, looking out the window.
"oh my, did you really get mad at me for that? what are you, 5 years old?" yoongi chuckled.
"i'm actually 19, excuse me." at least jimin was now looking at him through the rear view.
"you're a tiny baby."
"how old are you then?"
"i'm 36."
jimin's eyes widened and he coughed, "sorry?"
yoongi smiled and saw the cars had started moving again, "i'm kidding."
"i have a game." why? "i have to guess your age."
"i swear if you say over 30 i'm throwing you out of the cab."
"20?"
"nope."
"23?"
"nope again."
"i know!" he suddenly yelled, "26."
"ah, you got it right."
"what's my price, then?"
"what? you wanted to play this."
jimin looked outside the window again, noticing they were close to the park. "i deserve a price, it was hard."
"how is it hard?" yoongi smiled a bit.
"you look like you're 10." jimin bursted in a fit of giggles and yoongi's smile widened.
"that would be impossible. i look my age."
"you look like a tiny baby." he repeated yoongi's words from earlier.
"i don't." the red haired boy tried to hide his blush but it was hard since he was driving.
jimin giggled again and yoongi swore that's what sunshine sounded like.
he parked next to the oak park and the pink haired boy looked at him, "as i said, i want my price." he smirked opening his wallet and paying for the trip.
"and what would it be?" yoongi took the money, smiling.
"your number? and a date, maybe."
