"Oi, Cas! Wait up!" Sirius says as he chases me down the corridor after dinner. I turn round the left corner and hide in a broom closet, and I can hear his footsteps go by me.

"The corridor isn't that short, Cas, where are you? I'll tickle you when I get you!" Once I hear his voice fade I break out of the broom closet and sprint as fast as I can the other way. Once I know I'm out of sight, I put a disillusionment and a Muffliato charm on myself (why didn't I do that earlier?). I walk back towards Sirius, who is now joined by James and Peter. I suspect Remus is in the library reading his Lycanthropy book for the millionth time.

"Revealio" I barely hear this before my disguise half comes off, showing all of my clothing just floating in midair. I cast another stronger disillusionment charm and run back to the common room.

Moments after I'm in different clothing and sat down in the boys' dorm, the door burst open and I see a pale James, a red Sirius, and a quivering Peter.

"WHERE ON EARTH WERE YOU?!" Sirius fumes. I show them the book I pulled out from Remus' trunk minutes before.

"Just reading, Siri," I say, calmly. Remus comes in and sits down on his bed, having realised that I was holding his book.

"I never gave that to you, Cas,"

"I know, Remmy," Remus groans at the sound of his nickname. He's adorable when he's mad; his hair starts to stick up a bit and the golden specks in his green eyes seem to grow... Wait, I like James, not Remus... I go red, and run out of the dorm with Remus' book.

I sit down, contemplating what I should do. I pay a lot more attention to Remus than I do James, but I don't even romantically like Remus.

I have an idea.

I'll write down all the things I know about Remus and hopefully that will stop me obsessing over him.

Remus:
Green eyes with gold flecks that grow when he's angry.
Chestnut brown hair that stands up when he's angry, and is always soft and fun to play with.
Fit physic.
Smart.
Perfec-

I stop in the middle of the last one. He's not perfect, obviously, James is perfect. For me. He needs to stop obsessing over Lily so I can have a chance.
