So here I'm sitting again. Alone. The bus is headed to the lokal sea history museum. I hate school trips! They just gives life an opportunity to remind you about the fact that nobody wants to have anything to do with you. They refuse to sit next to you on the buss, they let out a big sigh when they get paired up with you on a task and they always stop talking when you try to join them in the conversation.
My name is Maya Linson, and this have been my life for 3 years now. I haven't have good friend since my "best friend" ditched me for the popular girls. Now it's just me. Alone. But I'm used to it now. Or, you can never get used to loneliness, but you can sort of find a way to live with it.
I see her passing me on her way inn to the bus. Isabell is her name. We used to be so close. Now she wont even look at me. What happened? Well, that is a long story. the short version is, she left me. I guess she just wanted more attention from the popular kids. And she got it. I just weren't enough for her.
I can't wait to get the hell out of this place. I'm only 15 years old, but I'm already dreaming about how wonderful the last day of high school will be.
The buss starts to drive, and as usual, no one is sitting next to me. I put my headphones in, so I can listen to something else than the girls behind me, who is discussing what nail polish brand they think is the best. I close my eyes, and listen to Lana Del Rey's Summertime sadness. That title is describing my feeling pretty good right now. It's starting to be summer. And I'm depressed. Wow what a great life I have. Not.
