"POPPY! Where the hell have you've been!" Adrian yelled as I walk through the palace doors.
Obviously, I lie muttering "I stayed over a Suki's Pod". Not in a million years would I tell Adrian me and Branchie's secret place. He could threaten me with a knife but I would never give in. It was our place.
"Oh really now?" Adrian says walking up to me grabbing my hair and yanking it towards his face.
"Cause that ain't what the guards told me! Eh, wondering off into the woods now are we?" he spat at my face. I continued starring at him blankly after all he does this every time I go out some where.
"Go to hell..." I whisper, hoping he wouldn't hear. But of course he did, and now his angry state turned into furry.
"OH NOW YOU ARE GONNA GET IT!" he growls raising his hand in the air. I close my eyes waiting for his hand to impact my face.
"A-hem sir"
I open my eyes looking behind me. It was Cooper, wearing his silver Armour looking at us with a straight face.
"WHAT! Can't you see I'm busy at the moment" Adrian yelled causing Cooper to flinch. Cooper only had recently joined Adrian's elite class of guards about a month ago.
"Um, h-he is here" Cooper stammered out. Adrian then lets go of my hand and pushes me away.
"Tell him to wait in my office! I'll be up there shortly" Adrian states turning back to me.
"I'll deal with you later missy, now go do something useful! But whatever you do, stay away from my office or else Cooper won't be here to save you! GOT IT!" Adrian yelled.
"Yes sir.." I whispered. With out saying good bye, he went up the stairs leaving me in the hallway alone. The doors suddenly burst open with Adrian's guards dragging a cage filled with Trolls. When Adrian became king, he had ordered that if you don't obey the rules, you would be turned into a slave.
When I looked into the cage I saw a little girl with dirty clothes, crying with no one to hold onto. Adrian hated children he said that they were useless, nothing but trouble. So he had no guilt about making children slaves.
It was sickening, being taken away from their parents, scared and alone. The little troll girl looked up at me, eyes filled to the brim with tears begging me to take her back to her mother and father.
Tears filled my eyes as well. There was nothing I could do. I watched the cage being pulled away, down to the dungeon.
I hated this life, ever since that horrible day... my life had been ruined. I then walked down the hall to the kitchen, when I got there, I grabbed a basket of food and exited the back door to the garden.
Karma was out there, in the garden digging and planting. She had a chain around her neck. If you are a slave, you would be given this. The reason for this was to make sure that if they do wrong again, they get a electroshock.
I exited the palace grounds continuing down the path to the one and only friend that I knew stayed.
~~Time Skip to a few minutes later~~
I knocked on Suki's door, hopping she was home. The door was then unlocked and opened by a tiered heavy eyed Suki. She was wearing a long, cream colored dress that had dirt smudges all over it. Her hair was still tied up but had no headphones.
"P-Poppy? What are you doing here?" she yawned, stretching her arms out.
"I really need to talk to someone Suki, please..." I begged, being alone with him was horrible. I needed my friends back.
She looks down and sighs "Alright, come in". She lets me in and I walk into her pod. It had been forever since I had been here, it used to be the Snack Pack's favorite place to hang out, but now it looks like a dump.
It was only one room, there was one bed and two cribs with the kitchen near by with a a small table. Looking closer at the cribs, I saw the two little Trolls babies sleeping peacefully.
"I had just put the kids the sleep, would you like coffee or tea?" Suki questioned grabbing two cups from the cupboard.
"Tea please" I replied back walking to the two cribs. They were both so adorable, they just looked like Suki and GD.
"Hey Suki what are there names?" I questioned.
Suki had picked up the kettle of boiling water pouring it in and replying "The one in the pink is Melody and the one in the blue is Guy Diamond Junior". Melody and GD Junior, they are perfect names for them. I reach touch the face of GD Junior. He looks just like him. I smiled warmly.
"Tea's ready" Suki called bringing over the cup of steamy tea handing it to me.
"It hasn't been easy for me and the kids. I can barley earn enough to feed us all" Suki says taking a pause tears filling up her eyes.
"I wish he was here, with me. We would've been one big happy family" Suki whines now bursting into tears.
I dropped the basket in my hand and hug Suki, "I wished he was here too". We hugged for a minute until I pulled away grabbing the basket and holding it out to Suki.
"Here, you need it" I said handing her the basket. Suki slowly opens the basket and gasps.
"O-O-OMG, this, this is to much. Thank you!" Suki says happily. She runs and places the basket on the kitchen bench.
"So, what did you want to talk about", Suki says dragging two chairs over.

I know this chapter was short but you know it's that time of the year. Assessments, exams!
So right now I'm giving a bit of background on what has happened since Adrian became king. Don't worry, it's going to get interesting real quick I assure you!
Also be adding more Broppy flashbacks!
