May's POV
"I believe, I believe!"
It took all my will-power and strength until I felt my feet slowly leave the floor. I heard the cheers from Peter Pan and the rest of the kids.
"I can fly, I can fly!" I screamed out of joy.
That's when it all came crashing down.
Everyone started laughing. Why are they laughing?
"Wake up, loser." Peter said.
I felt someone shaking my arm and I slowly fluttered my eyes open. I was face to face with Hunter who, I could tell, was holding back a laugh. Jared, on the other hand, was laughing so hard he had to hold onto my desk so he wouldn't fall.
"What are you two doing in here and what's so funny?!" I yelled out of surprise.
"C'mon, get up we have a lot to do today." Hunter said through giggles.
"I can fly, I can fly!" Jared imitated a girly voice and they both bursted out laughing.
What are they tal-
Oh.
"It's not even that funny!" I blushed. Wait a sec, I never blush. What is happening to me?
"You're right." they sobered up "It's fucking hilarious." and that's when the laughter started again. I sighed and walked over to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I dried up and walked outside only to find Soph sitting on my bed. Does everybody have to stop by my room today?
"We have to talk," she sounded nervous. I simply nodded, signaling for her to go on.
"I think I developed a liking towards a certain person-"
"Jared." I cut her off.
"Yeah." she sighed.
"Is the famous, single Sophia actually developing feelings towards the opposite gender?" I mocked. She was always one to reject guys, because she hates commitment, and let me tell you, there were a lot of guys. She opened her mouth to say something, but I quickly cut her off.
"Ok, ok, well listen, I don't know Jared all that well, but I trust your judgment. I think you should be careful, especially because of this gang business, but if you think he's ok, I say go for it." she smiled.
"Thanks," she hugged me "Now, what's up with you and Mr. Bad Boy over there?" she pointed to the open door.
"I honestly have no idea. I mean, I don't know him so I don't know weather to trust him, but even if I did like him I'm sure he wouldn't like me back." whoa, where did this come from? I never talk about my feelings.
"Hey, don't be like that, I mean, look at you, what's there not to like, besides, you're cute together." she winked. I rolled my eyes and we laughed.
"Hunter said we have a lot to do today, any idea what it means?" I asked her while looking for something to wear. Purple sweats or jeans?
"Nope." she said popping the 'p'. "They don't wanna say." I nodded.
I changed into my purple sweats and a white tank top. I put my hair in a messy bun and took my purple converse.
"Why don't you let you're hair down, it looks way prettier." she asked the same question for the millionth time. I simply shrugged, not like I have someone to impress.
We walked downstairs, smell of fresh toast hitting my nostrils. The boys were sitting in the living room discussing something. When they noticed us everything suddenly became quiet.
