*Beep... beep... beep...!* The sounds of the alarm clock have woke Quill up, he gets off the bed immediately after a yawn, brushing his teeth and gets changing, this is the first day he goes to teach the high school students. He must admit, he's really exciting and of course, a little bit of nervous too...
After a quick breakfast, he takes a walk to the school, bringing some of the important papers with him. There's actually a bus station near his apartment but Quill still decided to take a walk, it's good for your health and helps you keep fit anyway, besides, you can also enjoy the cool fresh early morning breeze, so why not?
When he reaches the school, it's only 6 and a half in the morning so he still has spare time meeting the principal to prepare the work.
Where can his office be? , Quill wondered, not noticing a door opened next to him and someone was going to go out, both bumped into each other and before he knew it, the other's hot coffee spilled on Quill's new clean shirt, he gasped because of the heat of the coffee and dropped all of the papers from his hands
" Ah!!! "
" Oh my, I'm so sorry! I didn't notice you were there! "
Quill finally calm down, he looks at his shirt and gives out a sigh
" I-It's fine, I didn't watch my step either... "
" Are you sure it's ok?
" Yeah, it's just coffee, I'm sure I can clean it... I hope..." Now Quill finally looked up close to the person he just bumped into, it was a handsome purple haired man and his eyes are so charming that Quill can't help himself but stare at him
"Uhm... is there something on my face?"
Quill is like just woke up from a daydream, realizing he was staring at the person in front of him, the green haired man slightly blushed
"Huh, oh uh... n-nothing! I'm sorry... And uh, I-I gotta go, I'm in a hurry, sorry again! It was nice knowing you!" then he rushed off in quite an embarrassment... Ugh, silly me! At least I should have asked him where the principal's office is! Quill sighed, suddenly he notices there's another man with blue hair walking in the hallway, Is he a student or a teacher?? Hard to tell... whoever that is, Quill is still gonna ask him anyway...
"Uh, e-excuse me? Can I ask you something?"
The blue haired man gives him a surprised and shyly look, his voice is softly but it's a bit too small for others to hear him clearly
"Y-yes? D-Did you c-call me?..."
"Oh um, I was wondering if you could show me the way to the principal office, uh... please?"
"T-The principal's office? oh uh... G-Go straight ahead and it's in the door on your right.... I d-don't suppose... a-are you new here?"
"Yes, my name's Quill, I'm attending to be a new Chemistry teacher here... May I ask what's your name is? And uh, are you a student here?..."
"N-Nice to meet you, I guess... The name is Will and no, I-I'm not a student, I'm a Literature teacher here..."
"Oh I see, well it's nice to meet you too and sorry for the misunderstood, I guess... I'll see you around? ...Gotta go!" Quill waves at Will as he heading to the office
After getting his papers done, Quill following the principal's guidance to the room where all the teachers stay before and after their class for a break, The principal said I should meet this person named Tad, I wonder if he's in the office right now... Quill opens the door hesitated and goes in, only seeing 3 people are in the room, busy with their works, one of them looked up after hearing the opening door sound, the blonde stands up and walk up to Quill, smiling
"You must be the new Chemistry teacher here in our school, glad to see you! Name's Bill and I'm a Math teacher, hope you'll enjoy yourself here soon"
"Oh, My name's Quill, it's a pleasure to meet you, thanks for the welcome and uh... Is Tad Strange here? The principal said I should meet him for um, a tour around the school I guess..."
"Tad? Oh, he's at his Physics class right now, but don't worry, it'll be end soon, in about 5 more minutes I think, you could enjoy the coffee over there while waiting if you want" still keeping the welcomed smile, Bill shows him the coffee machine in the corner of the room. The other two soon leave the office as they have to go teaching while Quill was sipping the coffee and having a small talk with Bill, then suddenly the blonde looks down at his watch and realizing he has work to do also
"Oh shi- I mean, I gotta go! See you again soon!"
Bill runs out of the room before Quill could wave him back, but then he heard that Bill is talking to someone else outside
"Oh, there you are, Tad! Took you long enough, the new guy is waiting for you in the office! Gotta run, bye!"
"Oh really? okay then. Have a nice day!"
Is it me or his voice sounds so familiar?! Quill wondered in surprise, waiting for the moment that person is gonna come in...
And as Quill was expected, it was really him, the person he bumped into this morning! Even though he already thought about it, Quill still can't hide the surprise in his voice
"Hey, i-it's you again... So, you're Tad?"
"And you must be Quill, right?... Uh, about this morning, I..."
"No no, I-It's fine... don't mind about it, I'm not blaming you or anything" Quill looks at Tad, who seems to be quite ashamed of himself for their little accident earlier, and gives him a smile
"You really... forgive me? I mean I can p-pay you another shirt and I uh..." Tad felt a little surprised at Quill's smile, it's actually really... cute! somehow... Now he feels his heart is beating faster at the thought he had. He turns his eyesight to somewhere else to avoid eye contact with Quill because of the embarrassment
"Of course, It's just a shirt, not really a big deal, don't be so harsh on yourself like that"
"R-Right! sorry... Shall we start on our... ehem, tour around the school then?"
"That'd be a pleasure"
They walk along the hallways together as Tad introduces each and every room to Quill
"Our school might not be big and modern like the other schools in the city, but we still have everything that's necessary for high school students here to do their works, projects, experiments and so on... since you're a Chemistry teacher, I think you'd like to visit our Science lab, which is our next destination, right this way"
Hearing about visiting the lab really make Quill get excited, it has been a long time he hasn't been able to go to a lab 'til now
