This was random but, I loved it. I thought of it real late at night. Took me a lotta Google.... Anyway the story is simple sorta.. the reader is well, Roxie. She's put in jail for killing her side bish and meets all these other Ladies on murderous row. She learns a bit about what I'm went for them to so they're where they are. And here's the interesting part(that took me a whole lotta Google), the Ladies on murderous row are well a select few of the historical figures wives. Including, Elizabeth Hamilton, Theodosia Burr, Dolly Madison, Martha Laurens, Elizabeth Muligan & Adrienne De Lafayette. Just so it looks like i wrote alot I'm gonna ramble on even though I hate it when I don that. But yeah.

I thought this'd be interesting. Tell me what ya think and I dunno maybe I'll change  things in the end. Alright hope ya enjoy!!!

"Y/n l/n! C'mer!" I heard. My name was being called out, I was new. Jail ain't my Jazz kid. I didn't know what to do besides stand up. "Today." A Stern voice said. I walked up to a pair of people. One female and the other male. The woman wrapped an arm around my shoulder and lead me away. "So, you're the y/n L/n I've been hearing about. I'm Martha Washington. I'mma take care of you while you're here." I just, nodded. "Yes ma'am." She laughed... What does that mean? But then I kinda got it, "no hon, call me mama." She smiled. I was confused. This isn't supposed to be good. I'm not supposed to welcomed warmly. Am I? "Now just know that if anything bothers you-" she started in a clam voice. It soon changed to a more expected tone. "Keep it to yourself, cause I don't give a shit and neither does anyone else." It was terrifying, but I got a smile after it was said. 'mama' lead me down a few halls. Half way through the walk she tells me "your gonna be stayin' at murderous row." I just kept walking with her "alright mama" I replied. Once we were at the spot, I saw some other ladies. They seemed to know what was goin' on. We passes one woman that I definitely knew. Elizabeth Hamilton. She killed her husband and her sister. I ain't got no clue why though. She stopped Martha and I. "Hey! Hey mama! Look at this!" She said. Mama headed over and stopped at her cell. "What's going on hon?" She asked. Elizabeth showed her a news article. "I made the front page again!" She sounded, proud of herself. I couldn't help it, after a quick talk between her and mama I told her "I was there ya know. That night night at the club where they got ya" Elizabeth nodded paying no actual attention to me. We kept going. I wandered my eyes a bit. Saw some people and grew curious. Mama stopped at an empty cell, handed me what I needed and left. I laid there for a while. Fell asleep at some point.

Tap...tap....tap.. the damn leaks woke me up, and kept me up. I heard the others saying something but, I couldn't quite figured it out. Next thing ya know, there's a person clear as day opening my cell door. "Hey kid. Mama lets us wander a bit in out own area at night. As long as ya keep it down. Got it?" It was Elizabeth Hamilton. Why'd she come over to me. Non the less I nodded and followed her to the small crowd of people who were in the spot as me. Pop, six, squish, uh uh, Cicero, lipschitz
I met six people that night. Learned just a little bout em. Enough I guess. I jumped a bit when I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder again. Surprise, surprise, it was mama. She'd sat down next to me on this old bench. "Pay attention to these women. They mean somethin' here" I nodded. They all looked at me. Why?

I'm just gonna... FUCKING GO THROUGH THIS PRETTY MUCH LIKE THE SONG CAUSE I LOVE IT TO MUCH!!!!

Pop, six, squish, uh uh, Cicero, lipschitz
I sat there with Mama next to me. They started Well, telling their murder stories. They all looked used to this situation. All at once they, almost sang; "he had it comin', he had it comin', he only had himself to blame. If you'd have been there, if you'd have seen it" they stopped, except for Eliza. "I betcha you would have done the same!" She said.

It was quiet for a moment then one of them started up again "Ya know how people have these little habits that get ya down?" She started. Mama leaned over to me and whispered "that's, Martha Laurens. Shot her husband over- well just listen" I did as told and she finished her brief story. "Like John. John you like to chew gum. No, not chew, pop. So I came home this one day, And I'm really irritated.
I'm looking for a little bit o' sympathy
And there's John lyin' on the couch, drinkin' a beer and chewin'.  No, not chewin', Poppin'. So, I said to him, I said 'You pop that Gum one more time'" she sighed "And he did
So I took the shotgun off the wall
And I fired two warning shots
Into his head" what?! Over some gum?! Well, how am I to judge I guess. Then another one started up. Mama tells me; "that's, Theodosia Burr. Did nicely on killing her guy" I looked at Theodosia. She looked straight back at mama and I." I met Aaron Burr from New York about two years ago. And he told me he was single, and we hit it off right away. So, we started living together. He'd go to work, he'd come home I'd fix him a drink, we'd have dinner. And then I found out, "Single" he told me. Single, my ass! Not only was he married Oh, no, he had six wives. One of those Mormons, you know? (Just play along, I didn't know how I'd change that) So that night when he came home from work,
I fixed him his drink as usual. You know, some guys just can't hold their arsenic." Theodosia said, rolling her eyes afterwards. This, I would definitely kill someone for. Ya don't like about shit like that. And the arsenic, that was pretty good. Didn't really have to get your hands dirty. Then I guess it became clear how this "order" would go. Well, to mama at least. So, she leaded over to me again and says; "this one here, is Elizabeth Muligan. Impressive little girl if I do say so myself" she treats all there Ladies like her kids? I hope I get that kinda treatment. If I end up stayin' here that is. Anywho, this Muligan chick steps up and waists no time to get goin'

" Now, I'm standing in the kitchen carvin' up the chicken for dinner, minding my own business. In storms my husband Hercules, in a jealous rage. "You been screwin' the milkman!" he says. He was crazy and he kept screamin', "you been messin the milkman!" And then he ran into my knife. He ran into my knife, ten times." Damn. Who ever this Hercules guy was sure did sound annoying though. But then again, these people are in here for a reason. She probably did screw around with this other guy... I know I did on my end. Only, my husband didn't die.. I was taken out of my thoughts where I heard; "that's Adrienne De Lafayette. Poor girl says she's innocent Everytime. But, no one really knows but her." Then she starts. Only, unlike the other, she doesn't speak English. It's French. (The original language in the song is Hungarian. If anyone is wondering.)

" Qu'est-ce que le KERS, en ici? Permettez-moi de vous dire que mon patron aimé a capturé ma blessure et j'ai laissé tomber ma tête. Mais non, je ne suis pas un art. Je ne sais pas parce que l'oncle Sam dit que je ne l'ai pas fait. J'ai essayé la police mais ils n'ont pas" she looked so... Fearful. It was convincing that she was innocent. So I just had to ask, "yeah, but didya do it?" She shook her head and tears came streaming down her cheeks "uh uh! Not guilty!" She backed away crying. I didn't know what to believe. Then the one I already knew steps up. Elizabeth Hamilton. I knew what she had done. But, I wanted to hear her version of it all.

"My sister, Angelica and I had this double act. And my husband, Alexander, traveled round with us. Now, for the last number in our act, We did these 20 acrobatic tricks in a row. One, two, three, four, five, splits,  spread eagles, Back flips, flip flops, One right after the other. So this one night before the show we are down at the Hotel Cicero, The three of us, boozin' Havin' a few laughs. And we run out of ice So, I go out to get some. I come back, open the door And there's Angelica and Alexander, Doing Number Seventeen. The spread eagle! Well, I was in such a state of shock,
I completely blacked out, I can't remember a thing. It wasn't until later, When I was washing the blood off my hands I even knew they were dead!" Wow, little bells kinda ring on that one. Ya know she did it. But she'd never admit to it. "But hey, they had it comin' all along" she finished. I still couldn't help but be amazed by her. Then, I hear mama again. She tells me the next woman's name. "This last one, doesn't talk much about how she killed her guy. Only the fact that she did it. Her name's Dolly Madison." I looked at her, the name sounding... Familiar. I ain't to sure why... But who cares. Just just listen up.

" I loved James Madison more than I can possibly say. He was a real artistic guy... sensitive... a painter. But He was always trying to find himself.
He'd go out every night looking for himself and on the way he found Ruth, Gladys, Rosemary and Irving.
I guess you can say we broke up because of artistic differences. He saw himself as alive and I saw him dead!" Huh... All of them were so... Different. But somewhat alike. They talked so, calmly and normal to one another. They were alright. But I wasn't meant to be here. It was morning by now. Sleep isn't important. I want even tired. By the looks of it neither was anyone else. Next thing ya know a door opens. "Alright where is she." I looked over to see who'd come to 'murderous row'. "Ah! Mister Jefferson! Did you get anything on my case? Or any new court dates?" Eliza had just waltzed right up to this guy. I still didn't know who he was! I looked over to mama and she tells me "that's Thomas Jefferson. Best damn lawyer any of you ladies will ever see. He's never lost a case. And he's helping Ms. Hamilton over there right now." I just mouthed 'oh' and payed attention to the conversation going on. Then mama adds "I made a call. You seemed like you were worth fighting for." I nodded, hiding a smile. "Nah I didn't get anything. Besides, I'm here cause I got a call for a new one. Where's she at?" Clearly upset, as the other women left, Eliza pointed over at me. As This new figure heads over to me, not yet in my side of the bars, Adrienne runs in over to where he is and pleadingly said "Mr Jefferson, help, not guilty! Not guilty!" He just, kept walking.. "yeah keep tellin' em that honey" then he stopped. Right where mama and I were. "Your Y/n L/n?" I nodded. Then a hand was offered to me. I shook his hand he introduced himself. "Thomas Jefferson, happy to meet ya darlin'. Now, I was called about your... Situation. I'd be glad to help with your case if ya wanna tell me, what went down. An we'll move right in forward from there. What do ya say?" I nodded "alright.." mama patted my back. "Make sure my money was worth while kid." Then she left. I was there talking to mister Jefferson, and he told me one thing. "Let me do all the talking. I'll give you lines for when ya gotta talk. Got it?" And all went on from there. Sure little white lies were used, but it all was worth it.

Boom I did a thing cause I couldn't sleep. Why? Because I have the first day of school going for me and when that happens I can never sleep.... Okay that's all ba ba childs.
