Getting to the Burrow, Wedding and Grimmauld

It's July the 27th today and I was somber with no light in my eyes. It's been nearly a month without Albus by my side and I have really lost it and Harry has been getting me through it knowing that he needed me with him but what's worse I've been sick and nauseous lately with Tonks and we don't know what the hell is wrong with us but we've ignored it as a sickness of over working or something or the stress of the future is in our hands. Scrimgour at the moment is filling in as the minister because I can't I have too much to do and too much to appoint someone as it was.
"These are dark times, there is no denying. Our world has, perhaps, faced no greater threat than it does today. But I say this to our citizenry: We, ever your servants will continue to defend your liberty and repeal the forces that seek to take it from you. Your Ministry remains strong." I heard Scrimgour say on the radio and I looked at the daily prophet with the dark mark over Hogwarts. Then it said a muggle family murdered. How could have this gone so wrong in my years defending off Deatheaters and Voldemort? I was going to wipe mums memory of me ever being not kidnapped in hopes of saving her life in this war but I know there could be a risk with me.
"Bill, Charlie, tell your farther suppers nearly ready." Molly called to Charlie and Bill who was watching over the fields and they knew what must be done to help the family.
Harry looked at the picture of his dad, mum, grandma and grandpa together happy as he packed his things for Andromedas and he knew that he wouldn't see his mother or his aunt or uncles in a while but he will have her but it won't be the same because his grandma won't know he would be here.
Tonks looked at the pictures around her room as she picked up her bag with the supplies that they would need. Her dad will be in danger and her mother that's why they are in hiding. Her mother was safe her farther was not.
"Nymphadora, it's time for you to go." Ted said to his daughter who didn't look angry and she hugged him tightly and he hugged him knowing that this could be the last time to see his daughter.
"I love you dad with mum. I'll see you later okay." Tonks said and kissed his cheek and he wiped the stray tear that fell from her eye and she went down stairs to her mum and hugged her and Andromeda hugged her daughter knowing she would not see her in a while. A year maybe or more than she could ever take and hopes in not losing her daughter or Amy.
Tonks then apperated to the Moody's where she walked up and Alastor greeted her and she ran up to Amy who hugged her. I hugged Tonks knowing that she needed it and Harry had already set off with one of the order members.
"This is bad, do you have everything prepared Amz?" Tonks asked and I nodded at that I had everything that we would ever need to go on this hunt with the undetectable extension charm on my bag and I was determined not to lose. After that we got ready and I went to sleep for a while knowing I'll need it and I saw Albus fall off the Astromony tower dead and I bolted up in cold sweat and looked around and Tonks saw this and hugged Amy.
"Tonks, I keep seeing it replay in my head. Albus falloff and dying. I couldn't do anything." I said to her and Tonks knew this is rough. I then got up and looked into a mirror part that was broken and looked into it and then I thought I saw Albus but it couldn't of been.
"Amy! Nymphadora it's time to get ready to go!" Alastor shouted to the two and me with Tonks nodded and got up and then walked downstairs with our bags and Alastor looked to his daughter and he loved her. He hugged her and she hugged him he has this feeling he wouldn't see her in a while.
I hugged dad but then I heard an engine whirring then stops and me with Tonks looked confused but mum opened the door to reveal Hagrid, Bill and Charlie.
"Hello, Amy." Hagrid said and I hugged him and he hugged me.
"Amz!" Charlie and Bill said hugging her and then Bethan came through the door and hugged me with Vicky and Jordan with the twins.
"What the hell are you both doing here?" I said to them and they had identical smirks and hugged me and I chuckled.
"You're looking fit." Hagrid said to me and I knew not to take it that way.
"Yeah she's absolutely gorgeous like the day she was born." Alastor said to that. "What says we get undercover becore someone murders her?" Dad said and he got the bag and went into the living room and Minerva didn't like this at all because she wasn't allowed to take part. Then Arthur came in with Kingsley.
"Kinglsey I thought you were looking after the Minister." I said to him shocked that he's here.
"You are more important." Kingsley told her because she was the head of the ministry, his friend, high governess and many other things.
"Hello, Amz its good to see you again." Jordan said to me holding out his hand and I shook it with a smile.
"Jordan bloody hell!" Tonks said and hugged him and he chuckled and hugged her.
"Yeah it's like Bill he wasn't always this handsome." Fred started.
"Dead ugly." George finished to his godmother and she smiled slightly but they noticed that it didn't reach her eyes like it should have done.
"Yeah well I'm also a werewolf as well with the scar now and I owe it all to Greyback. I know that you repaid the favour Amz." Bill told me and Fleur was here? When did she come and mum didn't look amuse to all of us being here with being so young.
"Well your still beautiful to me William." Fleur said kissing his cheek. She's 13 now and she was getting beautiful like a Veela should be.
"Just remember Fleur, Bill takes his steaks on the raw side now." Remus added the little joke and Tonks smiled at that.
"My soon to be husband, the joker." Tonks said to him and she had found out the most amazing news. "By the way, wait till you hear the news. Remus and I--"She started but was cut off by dad.
"All right. We'll have time for a cozy catch up later. We've got to get the hell out of here and soon. Amz your of age but somehow everyone knows where you are." Alastor said to his daughter he didn't know how they knew everything she did.
"How does everyone know exacty?" Charlie asked to that question.
"Basically if you sneeze the ministry will know who wipes your nose. The point is we have to use those means of transport that people have a hard time to detect: Brooms, thesterals and the like. We go in pairs. That way, if anyone's out there waiting for us, and I reckon there will be they won't know which Amy Moody is the real one." Alastor explained to them all and my eyes widened at that with mums.
"Alastor your not suggesting that..." Minerva said to her husband and he looked to her with his magical eye.
"I am suggesting exactly that Minerva." Alastor said to his wife at that one.
"The real one?" I said he can't be suggesting PolyJuice potion can he?
"I believe you're familiar with this particular brew." Alastor said taking his flask out and he knew how his daughter would react to this.
"No. Absolutely not." I said to dad not allowing people to die for me and I don't care if their of age and some weren't who are only in second year and third year!
"I told you she'd take it well." Bill said to that one knowing what Amy was like in these circumstances.
"No, if you think I'm gonna let everyone risk their lives for me, I--" I started the speech.
"Never done that before have we?" Charlie told her knowing how she felt.
"No. No. This is different." I told him because it was this could kill them! They could die while putting their lives on the line and Sirius and Albus have been killed because of me. I'm not letting them because it might be mum or dad or even Fred or George next. "Taking that, becoming me. No."
"Well, none of us really fancy it, mate." Fred said to that.
"Yeah imagine something going wrong and we ended up being the daughters of the auror and the professor." George said to that.
"Everyone here is of age Amy or they have their parents permisson. They've all agreed to take the risk." Alastor said and then that blasted Mundungus cleared his throat.
"Technically I'm being coerced." Mundungus said to that one stepping forward and Minerva thinned her lips at that man. "Mundungus Fletcher, Ms Moody. Always been a huge admirer."
"Nip it, Mundungus." Alastor snapped at that man for even speaking to his daughter. "All right Tonks, as we discussed."
I didn't get the meaning until Tonks tugged some of my hairs out and I looked hurt at that. "Blimey Tonks." I said to that one rubbing my head and Minerva didn't like this at all she could lose her family.
"Straight in here, if you please." Alastor said and saw his daughter narrowing her eyes at that. "For those of you who haven't taken PolyJuice potion before, fair warning: it tastes like goblins piss."
"Alastor!" Minerva scolded and he rolled his eyes at that while many chuckled.
"Have a lot of experience in that do you, Mad Eye?" Fred asked him and I contained my laughter as mum glared to him."Just trying to defuse the tension." He said taking a sip of it. "Oh." Then George got it and he took it. "Ugh." George did and they grew in height. Mundungus, Fluer, Vicky and Charlie took the potion and they all changed into me.
"Wow were identical." The twins said and I was just gobsmacked and mum held me close to her and I wanted her close to me.
"Not yet, you're not." Dad said and poured clothing out of what was emerald green fitted tshirt, black jeans, timberlands, leather jackets and I looked to dad in shock.
"Oh my god Aunt Amz, literally looking stylish." Fred said to that and I was blushing.
"I don't fancy this colour though green?"George added with the top.
"Well, fancy this, you're not you. So shut it and strip." Alastor said and saw them all undressing as teenage girls and bloody hell he would scold his daughter for this.
"Alright, alright." Mundungus told him and Alastor looked to his daughter.
"You'll need to change too, Amy." Alastor told his daughter who sighed at this and Minerva gave her daughter some clothes.
I went to the back and got stripped this was so embarrassing. "Bill, don't get the wrong idea and boys look away." Fleur said to that and everyone was chuckling.
"I'm a girl!" Charlie said and we all chuckled more.
"I knew she was lying about that tattoo." Bethan said chuckling.
"Amy your eyesight is really fantastic, no wonder Harry doesn't get away with anything." Tonks said to that looking around.
"Right then. We'll be pairing off. Each Amy will have a protector. Mundungus your going with Arthur he knows to keep an eye on you." Dad said and my stomach dropped at that decision for some reason unknown and Tonks looked to me and we both knew something wasn't right about that decision. "As for Amy.." Alastor said to everyone.
"Yes?" We all said looking to dad and I knew that freaked him and mum out a bit they might not show it but it does.
"My daughter." Alastor said and looked and she raised her hand as she was dressed. "You'll ride with me so it was. You're my daughter and it's my duty as a farther to protect you." He said to her he wasn't letting her out of his sight.
"Yes you aware our daughter and you should be with one of your parents in this." Minerva said to her daughter.
"Yes, it's all very touching. Let's go." Alastor said and grabbed his daughter by the arm and dragged her but she got out of his grip and hugged her mum and Alastor knew something would hurt his family in this war.
I let Hedwig fly alone and she knew to go and dad went and kissed mum and she replied and he went and mum looked to me. "I love you kitten, forever and for always." Minerva said and hugged her daughter.
"I love you too mum and this is why I've chosen to do this..." I said and she looked confused and I pointed my wand to her. "I'm sorry. Obliviate." I said to that and I erased her memory of me ever being found from being kidnapped and when that was I ran out and shut the door and dad looked at me and I nodded and he nodded back.
"Meet for the burrows. Well rendezvous there. On the count of three. One, two, three!" Dad said and we ducked when they set off and we got on his transportation and he looked to me and grinned and we set off on a broom next to each other and we looked to Tonks and grinned and we went. Then we were attacked by Deatheaters and I placed somthing in dads pocket without him noticing and I hope we would be there together at the burrow. It as his birthday present after all.
"Which one?"
"Where are you?"
"She's on your right!"
"She's over there!"
Deatheaters shouted shooting spells and dad looked at me and we nodded. "Dad we have to help them." I told him flying close while shooting spells. Alastor looked to her.
"No your safety is the number one priority at the current time." Alastor said to her and then suddenly Voldemort appeared and dad looked a bit shocked and I was too and we dueled and then Voldemort shot an unknown spell at dad and he fell backwards off his broom and I screamed. Voldemort then looked at me and I wiggled my eyebrows and I sped off with his after me shooting spells and I shot spells to him. My scar was burning and I saw Voldemort at the side of me. I was near the burrow.
"Amy." Voldemorts voice came over me. I then looked and shot a spell at him and our two collided with each other a red beam and a green beam. Something happened and his wand exploded and with him but I don't know if he's gone. I flew my broom and he yelled and my broom was on fire but I felt something else wrong with one of the people. Dad was gone from my world and I didn't do anything. I was crash landing and Molly heard this from outside and she didn't know what it was. I crashed landed in the water and I laid on my back groaning after the fall and I knew to be bruised. I got myself up and walked to the burrow where I was greeted by Molly.
"Amy, what happened? Where are the others and who are you supposed to be with?" Molly asked but saw the tears down her face and Ginny did as well.
"I was supposed to be with dad but he got killed and no one else is back yet?" I said and Molly shook her head. "They were on us right from the start, Ms Weasley. We didn't stand a chance." I explained and she hugged me and I hugged her I have lost my dad now.
"Well, thank goodness you are all right." Molly said but she felt her world go cold all of a sudden.
"The Deatheaters were waiting for us. It was an ambush." I told her and Ginny hugged me and I hugged her it was good to have people around when I'm hurting but how am I ever to explain this to Harry?
"Charlie and Tonks should have already been back with dad and Fred." Ginny said to her and I had a bad feeling about that.
"Here!" I heard uncle Remus and I ran and put an arm around my shoulders. "Quick! Into the house." Remus shouted to us and I saw his ear gone ouch that was cursed off.
"Oh my boy. Oh. Oh." Molly said as we put George on the sofa.  Then suddenly Remus smashed me into the wall and I looked to him.
"Lupin!" Ginny shouted wondering what he was doing to Amy.
"When did I start dating Tonks which year and what did you say to me if I hurt her?" Remus asked pointing a wand at his goddaughter wanting to know that it was truly her.
"Are you mad! Fifth year I told you that I would kill you even though your my godfarther I would do anything for my sister!" I shouted at him in frustration and he let go.
"we've been betrayed. Voldemort knew you were being moved tonight. I had to make sure you weren't an imposter but why are you alone?" Remus explained and asked his goddaughter who he saw her near to tears.
"Dad, was killed by Voldemort." I answered and he hugged me and I let him I needed it I've lost three important people all in three years now that is bad.
Then a woosh came from the distance. Remus bolted it out to see Kinglsey. "Wait!" Remus shouted.
"The last words a,bus Dumbledore spoke to the pair of us?" Kingsley asked pointing his wand at Remus as Remus did to him.
"Amy is the best hope we have. Trust him." Remus said to that knowing what he said that day.
"What gave you away?" Kingsley asked her and saw her looking down at that.
"I think it's when he killed dad that I screamed and he knew then that it was me from then." I explained to that and then a Thesteral came in with Bill and Fleur with Bethan and Vicky then Tonks and Charlie came and she ran to Remus. I hugged Charlie and he hugged me back and then I pulled Bill to the mix and he chuckled.
"Deserves that. Brilliant, Charlie was. I wouldn't be standing here without him." Tonks said and hugged Remus who she would miss.
"Really?" Bill said in fake shock and Charlie hit him but where was Arthur?
The Fred appeared and he was sobbing out and everyone looked to him in shock and I ran to his side with Bill and Charlie. "Where's dad?" Charlie asked him and Fred clutched to me like life depended on it.
"H-He's dead." Fred cried out and everyone looked in horror and Molly ran out and she heard what Fred said and she let out the tears.
"Oh no." I said and I gritted my teeth this was all my fault! Molly knew Amy wasn't the blame and she saw Amy blaming herself and she hugged them all to her and they sobbed out and Ginny came with Ron and Percy. George knew what had happened hearing the cries and he cried silently.
"Amy, this isn't your fault. Arthur knew the risks just like your dad." Molly said and Ginny was hugging Amy with Ron and she knew this was very hard on everyone.
"It is because they did it for me, I'm to blame." I said and Remus hugged her with Tonks and let her cry out whilst Molly held her kids to her. We walked into the living room and hugged George. This was the worst day due to people dying snd that was the end of it. Everyone was mourning.
"Mundungus took one look at Bellatrix and Dolohov and disapperated." Fred filled in and saw Amy and she stood up and walked out and Tonks sighed knowing this would be the worst Amy had lost three and now Arthur. Oh why!
"I think it's bed time for all of us." Molly said trying to keep everything together but knew that her husband was dead and that the kids wouldn't have a farther for them and so she went upstairs to her bedroom to mourn and we all went to bed, I laid in the bed while Tonks was awake two we couldn't sleep. Tonks then walked to me and got next to me and I hugged her.
"Amy, I'm sorry about your dad and Albus. We need to do something to end this war." Tonks said and she knew that they had to do what ever it took.
"I know Tonks. Goodnight sis, I will always love you." I said and we slept in each other's arms for comfort but my night went through every Toms memory from last year and then the ministry in fifth year.

Today was Tonks and Remus's wedding and her parents couldn't come due to their in hiding and the Deatheaters would be trying to find them. Everyone was still upset over the deaths but Molly has made it clear to me that I'm not to blame for anything and she made sure I knew that with Remus. The only thing that worries me is how I'm going to tell mum when she finds out he's dead? She'll already know now probably though and I feel right guilty for leaving her alone.
At the moment though I'm helping out putting the big tent over the grounds with my godchildren. "Ready when you are." Fred shouted to me.
"Up!" I ordered and we all grunted pulling it up.
"Please pay attention it's our Tonks's wedding. Buck up!" Charlie shouted to them and I was feeling nauseous again but I ignore it.
"Aunt Amz, go and get a drink." George said to her seeing her look like that.
"Alright but are you sure?" I said to them and they all nodded to me and I sighed and went inside and got a glass of water and then saw the newspaper and I saw it done by Rita Skeeter and I looked.
"Dumbledores dark secrets revealed." It showed Albus closing the door of Hogwarts. Then someone called Elphias Dodge Dumbledore remembered.
"Aunt Amz, can you zip me up please?" Ginny asked me knocking me out of my thoughts and I smiled and kneeled down and zipped her grey and black dress up. "It's seems silly doesn't it, a wedding? Given everything that's going on and daddy's just died." Ginny said she missed her daddy but she had her mummy and aunt Amz with Harry.
"Maybe that's the best reason to have it, Ginny because of everything that's going on." I said to her and she turned to me and hugged me and I hugged her while she let a few tears out and then I noticed George there with something in his ear and his bandages wrapped up. I have sent a present to Harry for his birthday due to I won't see him.
"Morning." George said to the two of them and he hugged them as well and his aunt pulled them both to her.
"Come on, keep up." I heard Bill shout and I sighed and we both walked out to look at the tent and I got my wand out and I was dressed in a emerald green dress but I haven't warn this since Albus was alive but I thought it decent. "All together now. One, two, three." Bill counted and we lifted the tent up.
"How's it looking your end, boys!" I shouted at them from the other end with Bill and he smiled at me.
"Brilliant." Fred and George both answered and I shook my head, twins believe it or not I don't know how Molly and Arthur did it between them and then I heard something and I looked to see Scrimgour! What's he doing here?
"Bloody hell. What's the minister of magic doing here?" Ron asked us and I shrugged not knowing but I will find out. He went in and soon Molly came out.
"Amy, Bill, Charlie and Tonks! The minister wants to see you four!" Molly shouted to the four and they exchanged looks of confusion and with that they came walking along and they left them in private.
I walked in cautiously with the three and we looked to him. "You wished to see us Scrimgour?" I said to him trying to be polite as could be with him.
"Oh I think we both know the answer to that question, Ms Dumbledore. I am here to read the last will and testament of your husband Albus Dumbledore." Scrimgour told me he was the only one who knew about that and what Albus said so Kingsley obviously knew. With that said we all sat down on the sofa and he brings out something brown from his pocket like a cloth.
"And this is?" Tonks asked confused on why they are here for Dumbledores will. Then he pulled out parchment and it floated in the air and unfolded and I was dreading this because this will hurt me.
"Herein is set for the last will and testament for Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore." Scrimgour read and I knew Albus had a long name from the hearing and I have to say that I like it. "First to Mr Charles Weasley, I leave my deluminator, a device of my own making, in hopes that when things seem so dark it will show you the light." Scrimgour said and he removes a small silver object from the brown cloth and passed it to Charlie and he looked at it.
"Dumbledore left this for me? Brilliant. Er- what's it do?" Charlie asked as he clicks it and all the light rushes to it from the lamps and leaves the room in utter darkness. He clicked it again and the light went back. I remember that from his office and he told me about it. "Wicked." Charlie said and looked at me and I smiled.
"To Ms Nymphadora Tonks, soon to be Lupin, I leave my copy of beedle the bards and in hope it will be entertaining and instructive." Scrimgour reaches in and pulls out a small book with the binding stained and peeling in places and hands it to Tonks.
"Mum used to read us all those! The wizard and the hopping pot, babbity rabbity and her crackling stump..." Charlie said to us and I smiled remembering the times mum used to read me them and also dad he read me those a few times and he would always make me laugh and I used to read them to Harry with Albus at night when he stayed with us. I saw Tonks and Bill with grins on their faces.
"I remember them all." Tonks said to that one.
"Can we now get back onto topic please." Bill said to us and we nodded at that and Scrimgour eyed us all in a bit of annoyance.
"To Mr William Weasley, I leave my quill so that if he finds himself trapped, he can always draw himself out." Scrimgour reaches in again and hands a quill with black and silver lining and I smiled at that one.
"This one is supposed to be for Harry Alastor Mcgonagall Moody Dumbledore. I leave him the trust that I have made for him to give him a good start in life and that I will always love him and watch over him even though he couldn't see me. I also leave him the picture of me, Amy and him as a reminder that he's never alone." Scrimgour said and he passed me the picture and I smiled at that with the key I'll give him those later.
Scrimgour then turns to me looking like he is getting ready for a long speech and I was right. "Lastly, to my dearest wife Amy Mcgonagall Moody Dumbledore, I leave my Gringotts vault that I have for her, A home away from Hogwarts and everything in it that u have had in my family for centuries to the houselves and the last book in my office. I also hope that you would takeover as headmistress of Hogwarts when you have graduated Hogwarts and that I want to tell you that I will always be with you when you need advice and comfort and so I leave you this picture, that I hope will give her knowledge and insight when it is ever needed with memories and that she is the head of the Dumbledore family as well and that I hope she will look back in and remember there is always light in the most darkest of places even when you have suffered great losses you must always continue." Scrimgour said snd he passed me a photo frame and I looked to see Albus but I saw him wink and he goes back to normal and then Scrimgour hands me two keys.
"You can take over as the headmistress position when it is tune if another permanent one has not been found." He told me and he gets up and then he reads. "Oh and also I leave the snitch that she caught when she was only Young on her broom when I came to see her and that is is a reminder of the rewards and perseverance and skill." Scrimgour told me and I chuckled he actually kept that. He handed me it carefully and he looked a bit put out because it didn't do anything and I wasn't expecting it too.
"Is that it then?" I asked him and he looked to me.
"Not quite. Your husband also left you a second bequest: The sword of Godric Gryffindor. Unfortunately the swear of Gryffindor was not Dumbledores to give away. As an important historical artefact it belongs to--" Scrimgour said and Tonks cut him off.
"To Amy. It belongs to Amy. She is the heir of Hogwarts and the heir to Gryffindor house so the sword is rightfully hers to have." Tonks told him on that one if Dumbledore gave that away on the will then we must need it for something.
"It doesn't mean that it's hers Ms Tonks. She might be Gryffindors heir but that does not mean that it's just her property." He said and I knew that was definitely a lie even I knew that because I am a Gryffindor an heir to it and the sword belongs to its heirs. "And in any event, the current whereabouts of the sword is unknown."
"Excuse me?" We all said to him in shock how can they not know where the sword is?
"The sword is missing, Ms Dumbledore. I don't know what your up to lady Amy, but you can't fight this war on your own even with being the head of the ministry and the high governess of Hogwarts or as well as the Chosen One. He's too strong." He said and then he got up and left while we went to get ready for the wedding to begin.
I got ready with my hair and I sighed I was walking Tonks down the aisle and then I went and knocked on her door and I entered and she smiled at me and I smiled to her. "Ready to go?" I asked and she nodded and grabbed my arm and the music started and I walked her down to Remus who nodded and smiled at me and I gave Tonks's hand to Remus's and then I sat down next to Molly and she hugged me and I hugged her. After the wedding we had our party under the big tent and everyone was here including the Delacours that bill had invited with Tonks because they knew us.
Folk music was playing and everyone was clapping while Remus and Tonks danced and I was smiling. I can't believe Tonks though is pregnant. Good on her that's why when it comes to April we'll go to her mothers so that we don't get caught or hurt the children. I was outside when the snitch flew to me and I grabbed it and placed it in my pocket and there was the order around incase of Deatheaters. Molly was happy and smiling at them and Hagrid with Madam Maxime was there together and Luna, her dad and Stacey was also dancing happily together and then I saw Dodge.
"Hello, Amy." Stacey said to her. "I've interrupted a deep thought, haven't I?" Stacey said to me and I looked to her. "I can see it growing smaller in your eyes."
"Of course not. How are you, Stacey?" I said to her because I don't want her to feel bad about that.
"Very well, got bitten by a garden gnome only moments ago." She told me and I wanted her to check it out when her farther came and her sister did too and I smiled at Luna and she smiled back.
"Gnome saliva is very beneficial." He said to me with his arm around his daughter and kissed her head. "Xenophilius Lovegood. We live just over the hill." He said to me and I shook his hand in greeting.
"Pleasure to meet you, sir." I told him politely.
"And this is my youngest daughter, Luna." He told me and I shook her hand and she smiled at me. "I trust you know, Ms Moody, that we at the Quibbler unlike those toadies at The Daily Prophet fully supported Dumbledore in his life time and, in his death, support you just as fully." He told me and I smiled at that.
"Thank you." I told him and Luna grabbed his hand gently.
"Come daddy. Amy doesn't want to talk to us right now. She's just too polite to say so." Luna said and she smiled at me and then the three left.
"Amy Moody." Xenophilius said to his daughter. I then walked to the man called Elphias Dodge.
"Excuse me, sir? May I sit down?" I asked him and he turned to me.
"Ms Moody. By all means. Here." He said to me and I gave him my thanks and I sat down opposite him.
"I found what you wrote in the Daily Prophet really moving. You obviously knew Albus well." I told him and he looked at me when I said Albus and he smiled.
"Well, I certainly knew him the longest. That is, if you don't count his brother, Aberforth and somehow, people never do seem to count Aberforth." Elphias told the girl and he knew her from when Albus talked about her and from the order meetings but he never got to speak to her.
"I knew Albus had a brother and once a sister but we never went into depth with it because it hurt him." I said and explained to him about that.
"Ah, well Dumbledore was always very private, even as a boy." He told me and a woman turned to us.
"Don't despair, Elphias. I'm told he's been thoroughly unriddled by Rita Skeeter in 800 pages, no less. Word has it that someone talked to her. Someone who knew the Dumbledore family well. Both you and I know who that is, Elphias." She said to us.
"A monstrous betrayal." Elphias said and I was a bit confused on who they were on about with no name on this.
"Who are we talking about?" I asked them and they sighed.
"Bathilda Bagshot." She to me
"Who?" I said to Muriel.
"My god, girl she's only the most celebrated magical historian of the last century. She was as close to the Dumbledores as anyone. Oh, I'm sure Rita Skeeter thought it well worth a trip to Godrics Hollow to take a peek into that old birds rattled cage." She told me and realisation on what she just said sunk in.
"Godrics Hollow, he lived there!" I said and we spoke about his past but he was a bit touchy on his family and only said that his sister died due to a duel and he was going to tell me everything later but he didn't have a chance too do that with me. "Bathilda Bagshot as well?"
"Well that's where she first met Dumbledore. The family moved there agree his father killed three Muggles. Oh, it was quiet a scandal. Honestly, my girl, are you sure you knew him at all?" Muriel asked me and that hit me because do I know my husband? Of course I do but not in that much detail because it was hard to talk about.
I then felt something approaching and I got up and looked with many others. The white glowing ball came and I stood in front of it. "The Ministry has fallen. The Minister of Magic is dead. They are coming. They are coming." Kingsley said in that message and everyone was beginning to leave and I looked for Molly and grabbed her hand and she followed me.
"Fred! George! Ginny! Ron! Percy! Here now!" I shouted and they all ran to me and they hugged me and I kissed each of their heads."You have to go now!" I said and they nodded and they held each other and they were gone.
"It was nice meeting you Ms Moody." Elphias said to me and he went and the Deatheaters attacked and everyone screamed and spells shot at everyone.
I went for Fleur but Remus held me back. "Amy! Go!" Remus ordered his goddaughter not wanting her killed in this. "Go!" Remus shouted and I didn't want too but I knew I had to and I ran to Tonks, Bill and Charlie and Remus looked at Tonks and she smiled sadly at him and we disapperated landing in London and we got off the road before we got hit by the bus.
"Come on." Bill said and we had to keep moving before were caught and we walked down the streets through the Muggles we stood out like a sore thumb with what we were wearing.
"Where are we?" Charlie asked looking around confused at the place.
"Shaftesbury Avenue." Tonks answers to him as we walked and got by with keeping our heads down so no one would recognise us for now at least. "I used to come to the theatre here with mum and dad. I don't know why I thought about it but it just popped into my head all of a sudden."
"This way." I said as we walked at least we would be able to get blended in with the clothes that we have all packed except Charlie and Bill who left their stuff but fortunately we put their things in with ours but they didn't know that yet.
We then got into an alleyway away from the public so that we could change easier. "We need to change." Bill pointed out with the outfits they had on if they were going to begin their travels.
I then went into my bag and pulled out some clothes for Bill. "How the ruddy..." Charlie started seeing her take the clothes out.
"Undetectable extension charm on the bag thought it would come in useful." Tonks explained to him.
"You both are absolutely amazing you are don't you know." Bill told us with a grin and we smiled at that one. We are aren't we?
"Always the tone of surprises." I said to them with a twinkle in my eyes and a grin at that and then we heard thuds and I internally groaned. "Ah, that'll be the book." I told them and they looked at me and I shrugged impishly.
"Let's go for a coffee and we can talk there." Charlie said to us and we nodded at that idea and besides I was getting rather hungry and I knew Tonks was and so we walked to the nearest coffee shop and entered and sat down.
"What about all the people at the wedding?" I asked about that because what would have happened to them would they be dead or not? I had put Molly and the kids into a manor that I owned and they would be safe there because the wards won't let anyone in even if Voldemort got the strongest wand out there. "Do you think we should go back?" I asked them.
"They were after you Amz. We'd put everyone in danger by going back." Bill explained to that and hugged her and she hugged him.
"Bills right Amz." Tonks told her she wanted too for Remus.
"Ahem." The waitress cleared her throat and she had music playing in her headphones.
"Coffee?" She asked us and we exchanged looks.
"A cappuccino." Tonks said to her.
"You?" She asked Charlie.
"What she said." He told her not knowing the muggle coffees all that well.
"Same." Bill answered and she turned to me but I had a craving for hot chocolate.
"Hot chocolate please." I answered to her and she nodded and left us and I sighed but Tonks was looking at me strangely and shook her head.
"So where do we go from here? The Leaky Cauldron?" Charlie asked us and we knew that would be a bad idea and besides Tom I don't want to put him in danger.
"It's dangerous." Tonks answered that one. "If Voldemort really has taken over the Ministry, none of the old places are safe."
"Exactly everyone at the wedding would have probably gone underground and into hiding." Bill added to that and he knew his mother and siblings were safe thanks to Amy.
"My rucksack with all my things, I've left all of it at the burrow." Charlie said and me with Tonks exchanged looks and we shook our heads and the boys looked shocked.
"You've got to be joking." Bill said to the girls who grinned impishly at him and he shook his head why is he always surprised at the two of them.
Then two people came in and I looked to the three and they looked to me they were Deatheaters we could tell we have been doing this for when we were taken and kidnapped with being tortured and so we just know form our gut instincts.
'Act normal' I mouthed and they nodded at that knowing what to do.
"We've had all these essentials packed for days, just in case." Tonks explained and we got our wands out ready to fight.
"By the way, these jeans, not my favourite." Charlie said to her.
They then turned and we got down and they shot.
"Stupefy!" I shouted at them and I hit them but exploding some of the crockery in the shop. He shot a spell at me.
"Diffindo!" Tonks shouted with anger and tucked and rolled.
"Expulso!" Dolohov shouted and we got down and I was very pissed off at this moment.
We looked over the chairs for the first strike and we all shot spells and ducked but he just barely. He then aimed for me but I dived on the floor with my back down and I grunted at that.
"Petrificus Totalis!" I shouted and it hit him through the glass and I sighed at that. Then the waitress came in looking shocked and we looked to her.
"Go! Leave." Charlie told her not wanting her to be here to end up killed and she did leave through the back door.
"Lock the doors get the lights. We don't want anyone to see." I ordered and Bill nodded and he locked the doors and Charlie used the deluminator for the lights to make it pitch dark except from the ones at the back and Tonks but the shutters down. I however looked at the two Deatheaters who I recognised easily.
"This ones Rowle. He was on the Astromony tower that night Snape killed Albus." I informed them and the anger for this man raised with just that night for being there.
"This is Dolohov. I recognised him from the torture we endured." Bill said to us and we glared at the man darkly.
"So what are we going to do with you, hey?" Charlie sneered at the man wanting revenge. "Kill us or torture us if it was turned around, wouldn't you?"
"If we kill them, they'll know we were here." Tonks said to the three but she had difficulty getting out that sentence.
"Charlie." I said to him because Tonks was right about that even with my anger we couldn't because Voldemort would have known it was us.
"He's the one who did dad, Bill. How would you feel Amy?" Charlie told them and Bill nodded at that and looked to Amy and she looked confronted and in conflict.
"It's better if we wipe their memories." I said to them and I didn't want to let the man go either but we had no other choice and besides we could kill him in the final battle when we want to.
"Your the boss." Charlie told me and I sighed at that I hated being the leader but I had to be to stay together. "Bill, you're the best at charms."
Bill walked up to the man that killed his father and he was so tempted to kill him but knew he couldn't. "Obliviate." He said and a blank look befell Dolohov when Bill did it to him.
"Come on, let's get out of here." Tonks said and we nodded and left I knew where to go we could go to Grimmauld or the Mansion that I own close by that's under the fidilius charm.
"How is it that they knew where we were?" I asked as we walked on wards.
"Maybe you could have a trace on you?" Tonks suggested at that and we looked at her.
"Can't be. The trace breaks at 17. It's wizarding law and Amy will be 18 in February." Bill said to us and we nodded at that one because he was right and even with me I had to have the trace off even with being head of the ministry. I need to live so that after this is over I can sort out the wizarding world.
Then we heard Tonks gasp. "What?" Charlie asked her wondering what was wrong.
"We didn't celebrate Harrys birthday with him, Amy. Ginny and I baked a cake for him so that we can go to my mothers and celebrate for his tenth and he'll be eleven next year." Tonks said to us and I looked down at that because I'm not there for my son.
"Tonks honestly, I think Harry would have appreciated the thought but given the fact that we were almost killed back there by a couple of Deatheaters a few minutes ago I think he'll want us just alive right now." I informed her as I looked out being constant and vigilant.
"Right. I think Harry would want us alive." Tonks said to that and she loved her godson more than anything.
"We need to get off the streets, get somewhere safe." Bill told us because we were an open target out here for Deatheaters to get us.
"Hold onto my arm then." I said and they did and I thought and apperated to outside of grimmauld place and we looked at the building and it began to move.
When it was completely moved me and Tonks hesitated but took a breath and walked in together and I got out my wand so that I could check that we were alone. Then the dust gathered and I didn't know what the heck it was until it looked like Albus coming to grab us and Tonks shrieked and then it disappeared and my heart was beating at a fast rate not expecting that to happen.
"What was that all about?" Charlie asked he was scared about that thing then.
"Probably your dads idea Amy, in case Snape decided to come snooping." Tonks told her and saw the hurt look on her friends face at that and she put an arm around her shoulder for comfort.
"Homenum Revelio." I said and nothing came and I knew that we were alone at least.
"We're alone." Bill said to that and sighed.
And so we spent our time here and we split up and I searched the rooms and I came across R. A. B. Regulus Black.
I with Bill, Charlie and Tonks went to sleep and I had a dream about Ollivander and Voldemort.
"I believed another wand would work." Ollivander said to him.
"You lied to me." Voldemort told him.
'It makes no sense." Ollivander said to Voldemort.
"I believed a different wand would work, I swear." Ollivander said being held by the throat against the wall that looked very familiar too...Malfoys.
"There must be another way." Voldemort said and I opened my eyes and I sighed. When are these dreams going to end?
I then got up and walked upstairs alone with my wand lit and looked around and I came to Sirius room and I went into search and he had skeleton flying things there and I smiled softly but it hurt to miss him so much. Then I saw a book with a woman Bathilda Bagshot and I looked at the woman I hated her for telling about Albus's life.
"Amy, Tonks, Bill, where are you?" I heard Charlie asked and I sighed at that. "I think I've found something." He told us and I went to where he was. We then came to the room Regulus had I have not looked in this room yet but I was going to.
"Lovely." Tonks said in disgust.
"Regulus Arcturus Black." Bill read off the plaque on the bedroom door.
"R. A. B." Charlie said the one in the note so this was the man who took the locket.
After that we went down into the kitchen and I read the note out to them. "I know I'll be dead long before you read this. I have stolen the Horcrux and intended to destroy it." I finished.
"R. A. B. Sirius's brother and your cousin Tonks." Bill said to that one.
"Yes but I have never met him. The question that remains now did he actually get rid of the Horcrux?" Tonks said and we sighed we didn't know if he actually did or didn't that's the main thing. Then we heard clattering and we all got out our wands and went forward to where the noise was coming from and we opened the door to see...Kreacher! Bill grabbed him and he was grunting about all of this but right now I want answers from the elf.
"You've been spying on us have you?" I said to him angrily at that one because he was a Black elf which meant he could go to the Malfoys or the Lestranges.
"Kreacher has been watching." He answered to me.
"Maybe he knows where the real locket is." Tonks suggested to me and we looked at each other.
I thinned my lips like mum and I grabbed the locket and went to the elf and held it out for him to see. "Have you ever seen this before, Kreacher?" I asked him on that one or more like ordered him I wasn't playing games.
"It's master Regulus's locket." He answered behind the table.
"But there were two weren't there?" I said to him and I knew he had to obey me since he had been passed down to me by Sirius. "Where's the other one?" I added and he whimpers.
"Kreacher doesn't know where the other locket is." Kreacher said to me.
"Yes but did you ever see it? Was it in this house?" Tonks asked him knowing she was a half blood but she had to ask about it.
"Filthy Half Blood." Kreacher said and my eyes narrowed at the words. "Deatheaters are coming--" He started.
"Charlie. Bill." I said to them and they were going to hit Kreacher with what looks like some metal ladle but Tonks stopped them and I walked forward.
"Blood traitor, Weasley's." Kreacher said to them.
"Answer her." I demanded of him and he looked at me and he thought I would hit him I wouldn't do that to any houself.
"Yes. It was here in this house. A most evil object." He said to us and my mind clicked Albus was right about that then.
"What do you mean?" I asked wondering if it was a Horcrux.
"Before Master Regulus died, he ordered Kreacher to destroy it but no matter how hard Kreacher tried, he could not do it." He said backing away from me as I walked towards him.
"Well, where is it now, Kreacher?" I asked of him this could be one step forward for us if we knew where it was. "Did someone take it from here and of so who was it?" I said to him.
"He came in the night. He took many things including the locket. And it was Mundungus Fletcher." He said and I went into a dark look and I was so angry with that man he didn't help Arthur at all and Bill with Charlie I knew was furious at that fact.
"Fin him and bring him here." I ordered and I knew the two wanted to get revenge and I didn't know if to let them. He went and I sighed at that. I didn't know that right this moment Deatheaters were boarding the train for Hogwarts.
Every student watched them. "My farther will hear about this." McLaggen told them.
"Hey, losers. She's not here." Ashely told them and she wasn't about to divulge anything even if he did know about them and the ministry was putting up posters up of me as undesirable number one.
I walked and put on the radio and we listened to what was happening at the ministry. "As your new Minister for Magic I promise to restore this temple of tolerance to its former glory. Therefore, beginning today each employee will submit themselves for evaluation. But know this: You have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide." He said and I heard a familiar chuckle and I looked to them and I went pale that woman is at the Minisrty.
Tonks and Charlie then played the piano out of key for Charlie. "Be a bit gentler." Tonks instructed. Then he started but she stopped him and she played it softer and me with Bill looked at each other and chuckled quietly and played chess together but Remus has been though because he was concerned about Tonks but she wouldn't leave us and I've reassured him that when she's near we'll go somewhere safe.
I then got my snitch out and looked at it why would Albus give me this? "They have flesh memories. When Scrimgour first gave it to you I thought it might open at your touch. That Dumbledore had hidden something inside it." Bill told her as they played chess but took a break from it as we heard the radio.
"Many of you are wondering why Voldemort has yet to show himself now that he has vanquished the most powerful symbol of opposition to him and his followers." It said and then we heard something in the kitchen and we all ran to see Mundungus. Oh how much I wanted to shoot the killing curse at him.
"Get off." Mundungus mumbled. Then I saw Dobby. Bloody hell it has been a long time for me seeing him with the chamber of secrets.
"Amy Mcgonagall Moody, so long it's been." Dobby greeted her.
"Get off me!" Mundungus ordered them and I looked at him. Then they all grunted and fell to the floor and Tonks just laughed and I was holding my laughter in at that. Then Mundungus got up and hit his head on a pan.
"As requested, Kreacher returned with the thief." Kreacher told me shutting the door.
"Expelliamus!" Charlie shouted snd disarmed Fletcher for trying to use a spell.
"Mundungus Fletcher." Kreacher finished.
"What are you playing at? Setting a pair of bleeding house-elves after me." Fletcher said and I saw Bills wand hand twitch with anticipation and I knew what he was thinking and Dobby jumped onto the table.
"Dobby was only trying to help. But Dobby saw Kreacher in Diagon Alley, which Dobby thought was curious. And then Dobby heard Kreacher mention Amy Mcgonagall Moody's name." Dobby told me walking along the table he needs to be careful or he'll fall off the end.
"I just--" Fletcher started.
"And then Dobby saw Kreacher talking with the thief, Mundungus --" Dobby said but was cut off my Fletcher.
"I'm no thief." Mundungus said to defend himself. "You foul little--git. I'm a purveyor of rare and wonderful objects." He told us and Bill drew his wand and aimed it at his throat.
"Your a thief and a coward, Dung. Everyone knows it and you fled from our father causing him to die." Bill sneered at him and Charlie grabbed him back so that he didn't do anything irrational.
"Master Weasley, so good to see you again." Dobby said to Charlie and Bill.
"Wicked trainers." Charlie commented as they shook hands.
"Listen, I panicked that night, all right? Could I help it if Arthur fell of his broom just like you couldn't help you farther Amy." He said and he really pressed my button and Tonks held me and glared at Mundungus with red hair.
"You..." Kreacher said to him.
"Tell the truth!" Tonks demanded off the man knowing all three of them wanted to kill that man and she wouldn't be able to stop them but Amy's temper has been up lately.
"When you turned this place over--don't deny it." I told him and I glared. "You found a locket am I right?"
"Why? Was it valuable?" He asked and I sneered at that.
"You still got it?" Tonks asked hoping that he had it on him and not sold it.
"No, he's worried he didn't get enough money for it." Bill answered to that one and he so wanted to kill this man for abandoning his farther.
"Bleeding give it away, didn't I?" He told us and now I'm curious. "There I was, flagging me wares in Diagon Alley when some Ministry hag comes up and asks to see me licence. Says she's a mind to lock me up. And would've done it too, if she hadn't taken a fancy to that locket." He explained and my stomach lurched on who he was saying.
"Who was she? The witch. Do you know?" I asked him wondering if it could be someone I know and trust.
"No, I--" he said and stopped when he saw a newspaper and I saw what he was looking at and I paled. He picked up the newspaper and showed us it. "Well she's there. Look. Bleeding bow and all." He said and we all looked at each other and we let him go under oath he doesn't say anything about us being here or speaking to us.
"What are we going to do now?" Charlie asked us sneering at the photo of that woman.
"PolyJuice potion." I answered and they looked to me and I grinned. "We find people that work in the ministry and take their hairs and go in and grab the locket.
"Alright, I can use my metamorphagus powers for that." Tonks said and I nodded and we had a plan to go into the Ministry.
