*Bam* You closed your locker. Again Monday. You hate it. With your books under your arm, you walked to your classroom. And everywhere those posters: "Finally PROM", "Let's go and get your prom date", "But tickets in the break" What is this shxt for? It's just embarrassing for those, who aren't in a relationship and have to search for a completely unknown person to go there. You will never get a prom date. "Good morning Y/N" your bestfriend said and walked beside you. "Hey." you said tiredly. "And, ready for the PROM in two weeks?" She said happily. Gosh what was wrong? It was fxcking Monday, how could she be in such a good mood? "You know yourself, that I won't get a date." You told her. "Why don't you ask Ethan? He is your crush, this would be cute!" "Shhhht!" You clapped your hand on her mouth. "Goddamn! Are you serious?! Don't scream!!" You looked around, if there anyone who could have heard it. Fuck it. There was Grayson starring at you. "Ohhhhh fxck..." Y/F/N said and wanted to pull you with her, but it was too late. "Hey Y/N" Grayson said and walked to you. "Oh hey Gray, listen we have to hurry!" your friend said and tried to save this situation. "Just a second, did you just say Ethan? I was pretty sure I heard his name-" but luckily he was interrupted by the bell. "Oh, too bad! The lesson starts!" Your friend said too loud. "Let's go Y/N..." and she pulled your arm. You didn't say a word yet.
"Y/N, wait! Can we talk after the lesson? In break?" Gray yelled after you. You were so confused, you just nodded. As you walked to the classroom Y/F/N squashed your arm. "Are you fxcking serious Y/N?? What do you wanna tell him??" Fxck. Now you realized it too. "Don't you think Grayson will understand it?" But she just faced you with a lifted eyebrow. Shxt. Now you couldn't do anything. And the break comes closer with every minute...
You couldn't concentrate on anything. Not the lesson, not what the teacher was saying and not on Y/F/N who talked to you. You never told anyone, only Y/F/N, who you love. And the brother of your crush wasn't a good beginning. The whole school will talk about you! *Riiiiing* You winced as the bell rang. You slowly packed your stuff together. "Y/N do you want me to come with you?" Y/F/N asked. You shook your head. "It's okay." "You really wanna tell him?" She asked as you walked out together. "Me and Grayson are friends. Not bestfriends but at least friends and he's a good person. He won't do anything that hurts someone." You said. She nodded and left with a "Good Luck". Gray was waiting outside under a tree, eating an apple. He smiled as he noticed you. You slowly walked to him. "Hey!" "Hey Gray." You shunned his look facing your shoes. "Are you okay Y/N?" He asked. "Yeah sure. So...about what do you wanna talk?" He nodded. "So you talked about E before right? So...I know I'm the worst brother on earth to say that, but...I think he would love to go with you to Prom." You were speechless and faced him with an opened mouth. "D-did he say that??" You asked super confused. Grayson laughed. "Well, indirect. He said it in another way." Wow. Omg. No...wait. "Gray, don't Play with me ok?" He looked sad. "Never...but you like him right?" You smiled and looked on the ground. "Mh...maybe?" Grayson laughed and hugged you. Surprised you hugged him back. "I can't imagine a better girlfriend for my brother!" You blushed. "Omg Grayson! Prom date is nothing in this direction!" But he didn't care. "But...Gray  what now? Should I ask? No, I can't do this..." Again a smile on Grayson's face appeared. "So...am I Right about that you want to go with Ethan to Prom?" He said. "Did I just hear my name?" Surprised you two turned around and looked into Ethans eyes. "Errrr...!" You said. Ethan lifted one eyebrow. "Well...we're talking about the prom" you said truthfully with a high voice. Ethans face turned sad. "You talked about your prom date?" You breathed in. "Yes." Ethan looked at the ground. "Well, I hope you and the guy will have much fun there." What? "Will you...tell me who the lucky one is?" He asked, still facing the ground. "Errr...nah it's not-" Grayson pushed your back. "What about you, do you have a date?" You excused. "Me? No..." Surprised you looked up into his sparkling brown eyes. "Not? I thought you already have one." With red faces you two watched the ground. Grayson who watched the whole scene was wrestling with himself to hold back his laugh, because you two acted so awkward. "So...who is you prom date? Eth asked, ignoring your sentence. Searching for help you looked at Gray. He still pressed his hand on his mouth. "Tell me first, why you have no date yet!" You said. You could hear him moaning and slapping his hand on his forehead. "Well.." Ethan said. "I was waiting for the girl, I wanted for so long now. The girl I wanna spend this evening with. The girl, I love."
As he said this, your heart got a break. But you want him to be happy. "Oh Eth... this sounds fantastic! Why don't you tell her that?" "First: she already has a prom date so...I'm too late and second: how should I tell her?" "Why don't you just say 'I love you'?" "I love you" he said. "Yes! Like that. It's simple. Now go and do it!" You encourage him. "I just did." He looked into your eyes. Your brain worked hard. Did he...? And was it...? Really? But before your brain could end his thoughts, your mouth was faster "I love you too." Before you get it, Ethan smiled, pulled you close and kissed you. A wonderful kiss. You thought it would never end. "I don't have a prom date Ethan and I would love to be yours." You said with all your courage. "Mine?" "Yes." "So if you're mine, we are together? Boy- and Girlfriend?" You laughed. "Omg Eth! Why don't you just ask?" And he did.
He got down on his knees and asked you the question you wanna hear. "Do you wanna be my girlfriend?" And he got the answer. "Yes, of course!"
You two were the most beautiful couple on the prom. It was an amazing evening. Good music, Romantic dances an as a perfect end of all, you were the Prom King and Queen. "Y/N, you are the queen of my heart. You have it until the end." "And you are my king Ethan, I love you."
