"Nice to meet you Cuban" Micheal say sticking out his hand for me to shake with a grin plastered on his face.
I just look up at him and walk pass, making my way back to my seat. "Excuse my daughter Micheal she seems to have lost her mind" my dad say while glaring at me.
Micheal began to chuckle, "Its alright sir, sorry for being late" he say, taking a seat at the table.
My father nods understanding, "No worries"
We were finally able to eat since Micheal was here. No one wasted any time filling up there plates.
"Pass me the corn bread" my uncle asks, my aunt Janice hands it to him not before rolling her eyes."So Micheal how's your mother?" My dad asks. My mother looks at Micheal for his response, he gently smiles at her then looks back at my father, "She's doing fine, she's actually getting remarried"
"Well that's a surprise"
"Hunny can you go get the gravy? I accidentally forgot to bring it out" my mother says to my father. He nods and excuses hisself from the table.
"So Micheal, your a cop is that right?" Aunt Janice asks.
He simply nods "yes màm, detective to be exact"
Tony began to choke, "A cop?"
Micheal laughs, "yea , is that alright with you?"
Tony suddenly needed to use the bathroom. My dad finally came back with the gravy and started up conversation again with Micheal.
Soon enough dinner was over, and I was now sitting on the balcony scrolling down my facebook feed.
"May I join" Micheal ask taking a seat beside me.
"Already did"
He laughs a little, "Still got a smart ass mouth huh?"
