My alarm sounded indicating that it was time to get up. I yawned and rolled over, to silence my alarm.
"Ugh. Another new school", I said getting up.
"Get up! Its your first day of school little sis", my big sister, Mackenzie, yelled.
"I'm up now stop yelling! I do not feel like going to a new school", I stated.
"Well your going so get up. Plus you should be happy", she replotted.
"And why is that?"
"Well you were such a nerd at our old school so, now you can invent a NEW Kiyah."
She's right. This is my chance to change myself. I can be cool. I will no longer be a nerd.
"And I'm gonna help you, do put this on and be downstairs in 7 minutes", she said, throwing some clothes and shoes at me. I got dressed and headed downstairs.
"I don't know about this Kenz. Half of my belly is out."
"Kiyah, you look stunning! Your stomach is super flat and you need to show it off! Now hurry and way these pancakes so I can fix your hair."
I ate my pancakes then Mackenzie pulled me to her room and put beach waves in my hair. After putting on some lipstick and eyeliner, I looked in the mirror. She was right, I did look stunning. We then went to her car and we went to school.
"Ooh la la. Chino Hills has some very sexy boys! I'm gonna make the most of the rest of my senior year", she said.
She was right. I looked around and spotted two guys sitting on a bench.
"Look Kenz!", I said pointing.
We got out of the car and I fixed my clothes trying to get my mind right.
"Come on l, let's go introduce ourselves."
I pulled back but she was way stronger than me and literally drug me over there. The two guys looked up at us.
"Hi! I'm Mackenzie and this is my sister Kiyah. She a junior and I'm a senior."
"Sup? I'm LiAngelo and this is my cousin Eli", said the light skinned one. Eli waved a little and looked at his phone again.
"Do y'all know where your classes are?" He asked and we both shook our heads. "Well here comes my brother Lamelo. He's a junior and we're both seniors", he said motioning towards Eli.
"Who is this", LaMelo said looking at me.
"I-im Kiyah", I stuttered.
"We'll show Mackenzie around and you show Kiyah around" LiAngelo said.
And from there we split up. I went with LaMelo and Kenz went with LiAngelo and Eli.
