waking up from a text message from my mother asking, "where are you?" i quickly shut off my phone ignoring the text. i then realize that i had fallen asleep while waiting for the bus. earlier today i had gotten news that my mother is getting married to her boyfriend, which i did not find that a nice surprise. five years ago i had lost my father in a car accident and it has been my mother and i ever since. it's just really hard to see that my mother is replacing my one and only dad, with someone she just met a year ago. well after i heard about him purposing to her i had ran off and was planning on taking a bus to my friend charlie's. the next bus doesn't come till sunrise, which is an hour from now. i soon sat up from the uncomfortable bench and as i got up i noticed a girl resting on the other bench quietly reading a book. i noticed that she peaked at me from behind her book quickly and she returned "reading." her eye color was hazel with very rich golden, resembling the sun.
