No Remorse ( James Hetfield )

Intro

James' P.O.V.

Shit today was the first show for Kill 'Em All!! I'm so excited for it. Lars was able to find a driver and a tour bus on the cheap. I'm a little nervous to. I really haven't played in front of thousands of people before either. So it's like a win / loose situation for me. 

"Hey James , your finally awake ya bum!" Lars said

"Yeah , sooo..........?" I replied

"I got a call from Dave. His dad died."

"Wasn't he an asshole to him anyway? Why does he care so much then?"

"Dude that was his fucking father....." Cliff said

"Yeah you got a point."

Lars pushed a vinyl of our first album towards me. Wow the artist went all out on this. On the back of it , the songs were listed. There were pictures of me , Lars , Cliff and Kirk to. I went to my room and listened to the whole album. It kicked ass dude! Like this shit is amazing for a small band like us. 

I did notice that my voice was very high and eerie. That better be a good thing for selling purposes. My favorite track had to be "Phantom Lord" , it just had the best feel for me. I remember Lars telling me that his was "Blitzkrieg" , an extra track included with the vinyl. I would agree to a point , but it's still kick ass!

Cliff also had a song that was all bass called "Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)" The song is full on Cliff Burton bass awesomeness!!!!! 

"Hey Lars!!! This shit is kick ass Dude!!!" I yelled

"Yeah let's hope it sells like a Judas Priest record!!" Lars yelled back

I spent the next 3 hours in my room alone. There is a chord in "No Remorse" , that fucks me up every time. When Dave was in the band , he came up with it. It's like a take no prisoners riff from "Hells Bells" by AC/DC.
