Chapter 2
Regis's stance rigidly advanced through the masses of human bodies. All of them lie limply in their own pool of blood. He held his urge to throw up, his first clenched as his mind runs through different scenario that could have happened. The Landegre didn't believe any humane creature who would do this to their own kind.
M-21 and Takio went out scouting, covering every inch of the perimeter and picking up every detail to their best ability.
"Anything?"Takio readjusted his gear in his ear, clearing his throats with and gave a subtle 'no'. He dealt with many things in his life, however this mass of a human massacre was a first. He didn't miss the steaming anger which is emitting from his companion. The werewolf was one step away from tearing someone's guts out.
"All right then, pick up any-"
The radio signal was cut off when Seira threw her scythe at the top of a building just a few feet from where she stood. The Loyard's eyes narrowed at that particular spot, immediately, the group stood alert and directed his attention onto the top of the building, where upon close observation he could observe a shadowing figure.
The shadowing figure took long strides until it is exposed under the illuminated street lights. Her charcoal black hair cascaded down shoulders, landing right below her petite waist. With each forwarding step, the black waves made a sharp oscillation. With each forwarding step, the clicks of her pumps resonated through the tense air. With each forwarding step, the animosity became more apparent.
Until she stood on the edging concrete of the building. Her piercing scarlet eyes scanned through the crowd apathetically and rested on the bodies behind. Her gaze hardened.
"Leave, none of you belong here."
She held Seira's soul weapon and threw it at her, deliberately landing it on the crumbling rocks just side her right foot. Eyes narrowed menacingly at the newcomer. M-21 let out a animalistic growl and this time it was the girl narrowing her eyes.
Werewolfs?
Tao stepped forward and placed a resting hand on the werewolf's chest, slightly shoving it backwards, his eyes warning.
Hey remember that psycho boss we have at home and remember that no engage in combat conversation we had right before we came out? Yea keep that in mind, I don't want want to be Dark Spear's last meal but if you want the honours by all means go ahead.
"Hello there beautiful stranger. We deep apologise for raising unnecessary alertness however we are deeply concerned about the mass murder that happened," he mustered a fake smile and gestures around the area. "Here."
Her gaze softened but her stance was still held on guard.
"Tell whoever who sent you to keep mind his own business. This is nothing of your concern, I will deal with it."
"We could say the same to you." Seira stepped forward, eyes never leaving the newcomer. "This is a matter that concerns nobles because it is our duty to protect humans. The people who committed such a sin will be severely punished."
"Who I am is non of your concern either, nobles or werewolf, Lukenodia does not have that charge on me."
The bags on her pale face appear evident as she heaved a sigh. They wouldn't be from the imbecile, pestering group of corrupts. If there were Nobles in the Union, they would be smart enough to stay low. She sent a warning look towards the group.
"Leave."
