(Riker POV)
I watched as Ashlynn walked out of here in a hurry. I was wondering if I did something wrong for her to just run out like that. I hope she reads what I wrote for her. God she's perfect! I really hope I see her before or after the show to talk to her again. All I can think of is the sparks she gave off with just a single touch and how she had me craving her touch. I trace the tips of my fingers up and down my chest feeling that my skin is still tingling as if she was still touching me. I'm thrown out of my train of thought hearing snickering. Everyone is snickering at me and I'm getting a little annoyed.
"Dude what was that all about?" Rocky asks trying to not giggle at me. I roll my eyes and smile trying not to laugh because I'm in too good of a mood to deal with them making fun of me. I go into the bathroom and throw on my blue v-neck fitted shirt, black skinny jeans and my high top black converse. I style my hair as usual. I walk out and they are still snickering.
"Guys she was in here to check over everything and didn't know I was in here and I ran into her on accident" I say rolling your eyes and getting annoyed with myself because I can feel my face warming up and I just know I'm turning read! "Looks like you enjoyed running into Ashlynn Rik" Ross says laughing his contagious giggle. I go over to him and jump on him tickling him and start laughing. "o-ok Rik-Riker I take it back! S-s-stop I c-can't breath!!"
"But seriously guys she's perfect. I have to talk to her. I can't believe I froze! Anyways go get ready guys we have to practice soon!" You say as you go out the door to get something off of the bus.
(Ashlynn POV)
I'm about to open the piece of paper and my boss Mark startles me. "Ashlynn what are you doing standing around. We have a lot to be done." I smile at him annoyed and fold up the paper Riker gave me and put it in my back pocket to finish what just HAS TO BE DONE! "Sorry Mark I just finished the check list for R5, and the others have their list finished already. And the water is chilled and ready to be put on the stage when it's time" He smiled a smirky smile and walks off.
I go to the stage and make sure their instrument's are being put on the marks we had on the stage and Ryland comes up with a smirk on his face. I think to myself oh god what does he think of me. I hope my boss doesn't hear anything and fire me. I love my job. "Here is the set list. This one goes on Rikers side, This one goes by Ross' mic stand, and so on. I wrote their names on it to help you out." I smile taking the lists from him and say "Thank you. I was just about to ask who had them so I can finish the stage area" He nods his head and walks off to the sound boards in the back of the arena. I go to walk off the stage to go get myself something to drink and I hear a crash that makes me jump 5 feet off the ground. I look behind me to make sure my clumsy self didn't trip on a wire causing anything to fall over. But it actually wasn't me. It was Riker.. Can he be as clumsy as me!?
I try not to laugh and walk up to him "We are just falling all over the place tonight aren't we?" I say handing my hand for help and he smiles up to me blushing like crazy and there's that spark again when he takes my hand. What is it with this boy I think while holding his hand still. "Sorry I was coming to see if you opened the piece of paper I gave you. And to make sure you were ok." I smile blushing now.. "Yeah I'm fine. And no I was about to open it and my boss was freaking out that everything is perfect for you guys." I go to reach for the list with my left hand but realize he still has a hold of my hand. I look up at him and he licks his lips while biting his bottom lip and I can see his chest rising up and down taking deep breaths. "Um.. Ashlynn.. Would you by chance wanna.." He didn't get a chance to finish thanks to my boss.
"Ashlynn I need you over here. There is a big mess with all these cords" Mark yells. I sigh cause I really wanted to know what Riker wanted to ask me. I smile at Riker sweetly and apologetically while letting go of his hand slowly. I don't want to stop holding his hand but I must jump when the boss man says to jump. "I'll be right there Mark!" He gives me a weird look wondering what's going on. Great! "I'm sorry Riker, I have to go fix what ever Mark is incompetent to fix.. Finish this conversation later?" I ask hoping he will still want to ask what ever he was going to ask. He smiles while licking his lip " Yeah definitely.." He rubs the back of his head looking a little frustrated, either with himself or Mark butting in on our conversation. "Ok I'll see you around Riker" I smile at him and he smiles back and walks off stage towards the green room.
I go to do what he needs to be done. I swear Mark could ruin any ones happiness. And I can't stop wondering what Riker was going to say to me. I finally get done with that and realize I'm extremely thirsty because I never got the chance to get my water. I go into the breakroom and thankfully no one is in there. I get my water and sit down and I start to play on Instagram on my phone and decide to look up Riker. And I remember the note! I hope it wasn't something he needed right away. Gosh it's been an hour now. I slowly open the piece of paper with shaky hands and realize that Riker gave me his number and wrote. I hope to hear from you. I'd like to get to know you. Call or text anytime.
I smile to myself and decide to send him a text.
Ashlynn:: Hey Riker, It's Ashlynn. Sorry for the delay. I just now got to read the note.
Riker:: Hey :) no worries. I'm glad you text me that's all. Are you busy right now?
I smile
Ashlynn:: No I'm hiding in the breakroom taking a 20 minute break. Why do you need anything?
Riker:: That's cool. And no I don't need anything ;) Would you mind some company on your break?
Ashlynn: I'd love some company. No one is in here.
Riker:: cool cause I'm right outside the door.
He's out side the door I thought!? What is he following me around?? I hear a knock on the door and yell "Come on in it's open!" I then see his beautiful blond head pop in with a cute sexy smile and he walks in. "Hey, there you are. Think we'll be interrupted again?" He asks with a low husky voice as he sits next to me on the couch. Really close. "I-I-I don't think so. Everyone isn't due for a break until I get back." I say blushing. Why does this guy make me blush so much. He even makes my heart beat rapidly and skip a beat.
(A/N) *** Hey guys I know this chapter is a little lame. I finally was able to finish it up while being sick from food poisoning. Yay me. haha. Anyways. I'm hoping I feel better tomorrow to update some more. I would like some comments and likes before posting the next chapter as well. Let me know what y'all think of it. What you'd like to see happen and so fort. I was thinking of saying one of Ashlynns co-workers being 18 has a huge crush on ross and add some ross and this co-worker. I'm just trying to think of a name for her. Anyone have any Ideas of a name?? Hope all is well. Good night!***
