This is a continuation of Bae (an earlier chapter). I just love this concept of Sans reuniting with Frisk after a long time and they end up kissing each other senseless. Please don't judge me. XP

It had been two years since Frisk brought all the mages from the underground back to the surface.

And it has been two years since Sans had been separated from Frisk.

It just wasn't going to work for them. He was a mage, she was a human, a normal human. Until the tension between them was solved, no one was going to approve their love. Even Toriel warned them of the disputes that could happen if it was taken seriously. All the mages did. To some extent, Papyrus did not want it, in the fear that his brother and the human girl would be in trouble.

The most painful part about it was, they did like each other, and the both of them wanted their relationship to develop as they spent more time together. And in a way, it did; the human girl would go over to his house to talk or laugh with him. Sometimes, she would visit him because of a bad dream. Heck, he even gave her a kiss on the lips once. Not on the forehead, on the lips. Frisk was so certain that she, a sixteen-year-old, would not have any problems with dating an eighteen-year-old boy like Sans.

But after that one episode that ended with Frisk lying next to Sans in his bedroom, after both of their sweaters were found on the floor and his blue jacket was wrapped around her semi-naked body, it was the last straw for everyone.

Not only was Frisk grounded, she was banned from texting or calling Sans at any time of the day. Instead, she had to complete heaps of school work and work that she had to do as the Mages' Ambassador. Many times Toriel told her that it was 'for her own good', but just like a typical moody teenager, Frisk wouldn't listen to the motherly Fire Mage. She understood; she just didn't want to hear another word about it.

Sans was treated with similar kind of measures. No teleportation to Frisk; Toriel even made a magical barrier around her house to make sure. And just so that Sans wouldn't try to take Frisk away when she goes to school, Toriel told her classmate, Mage Kid, to walk her to school everyday without fail. As an additional measure, Papyrus was to give his brother housework chores to do, to distract him from Frisk.

No matter how hard they tried, they just weren't allowed to see each other. And whenever they made any attempts, they would get the same response.

"It's all for your own good."

Two years past, and Frisk gradually matured into a sweet and beautiful teenaged girl. And before she knew it, she was in a stable relationship with a boy her age, a boy of her kind.

And today is the day it will stop.

"Are you sure about this?" He didn't want to look at Frisk in the eye; he was too ashamed.

She nodded calmly. "It's okay, Derek," She reassured him, a hand on his shoulder. "I saw what happened and," She shrugged. "It's kind of obvious that you like her more than me."

"I'm sorry, really I am." It didn't sound sarcastic or shallow; it was completely sincere. "It's just, things happen and now I can't say that everything between us is still the same anymore."

"Yeah," She agreed. She was trying her best to ignore the small heartbreak in her chest. "Let's just, let's not end it with on a sad note." She bit her bottom lip. "We're still friends, right?"

He nodded immediately. "Of course we are," He confirmed. "You still have my number, right?" Derek saw her nod and smiled. "So even though I'm going to uni elsewhere, you can still text me, alright? We're still friends."
