Chapter 6: I Fell Hard For You

Cortney P.O.V

I look at Meliodas with strong look."a Where do you think they went Cortney?" I thought about it for a second."Knowing her, she is watching some anime at the top of a tree eating a saggy lemon."(It's a inside joke from me and my cousin😜)I saw Meliodas start to laugh when I saw that's. " So Cortney, what are your plans tonight?"
"Umm, I don't know. Why?"
"Because I want to have a "fun" dinner with you. ;)" It thought having a a dinner with Meliodas would be really fun and romantic. "Sure! Why not? What time do you want me to come to the dinner?" I saw him think to himself." How about 10:30?"
"Sure thing perv!"

I run down the stairs to the bar. I hear the door open right as I was pouring myself a beer."Y/N! Where did you go, and why are you soaking wet?" She looked at me for a second. After she looked down at her clothes, she looked at Ban, witch was standing right next to her." Um, Ban pushed me into a lake. Then I pulled him in right after he pushed in..." I look down at her neck and notice at least Ten hickeys." Y/n, what is that" I say pointing to her neck." Ummmm NOTHING ITS N-NOTHING!" She ran up to her room after she said that." Nice job Courtney. Now she won't talk to me." I watch him go up the stairs, trying to get into his bedroom.

It's 8:30... I think I need help with my look. " HEY Y/N, CAN YOU COME HERE FOR A SEC??"

"SURE! BE THERE IN A MINUTE!"

She rushes into the bar in 5 seconds after she said a minute." FOLLOW ME YOUNG LADY! I WILL MAKE YOU BEAUTIFUL!!!!" With no hesitation, she pulled me up the stairs into her room." You don't even know what I was going to say!" She stops and looks at me." If my cousin asks me to come to her, that's either mean One, you need a makeover or Two, you want to talk about anime and Glee." I glare at her and started to laugh." You get me too well Y/n."

"So who is the lucky guy?"

"Umm Meliodas..."

"REALLY!!!! My ship has sailed!"

"Calm down, I'm thinking about just going casual."

"Then I have the perfect outfit for you!!!"

She pulls out some sort of blob of clothes and some accessories and puts them on the bed." Here you go Country!"

I look at the outfit. Its basically me but I'm putting effort into what I wear. " Thank you so much Y/n. I love it." I say with passion.

"You are very welcome. Now, let me get you set with your makeup and hair!" I sigh and she gets her supplies out.

I watch as Meliodas stands in awe as I walk down the stairs. " Are you ready Perv?" He looks at me then laughs.

"Of course I'm ready you "idiot"." I stare at him as he laughs at his own pun. " Ok, we get it. Now, let's go for our picnic under the stars." I wave back to Y/n as we walk into the darkness.

After awhile of walking in the dark, we suddenly come up to a lake with a blanket and some food in front of it. "This is where we will be staying tonight, young lady."

"I'm totally fine with that."

Meliodas starts to unpack the picnic as I look at the lake." Do you think we can go swimming after we eat."

"Already ahead of you! ;)" I look down to see that he had towels already set next to one of the lights." You're the best Meliodas!" I hug him as I say that. I see him smile. The smile turns into a grin. " Dig in!"

" Wait, did you make the food?"

"No, Ban did."

"Ok good!"

We start to eat the freshly cooked pizza that was set up with the picnic. Once we finished, I start to strip down to my underwear to swim." Hey, um Country? Can you do me a favor and get me a towel plz" I heard Meliodas ask me a question right when I finished." Um sure." Right as I reach down for the towels, I feel two hands push me into the lake." HEY!" Meliodas started to laugh." Oh, so THATS how you want to play?" He stops laughing and looks at me. I pull him in by his leg and I start to laugh." See? Do not mess with a girl like me Meliodas." He looks at me for a second. He is inches away from my face." Courtney, can I tell you something?"

"Umm s-sure" I say nervously

" I-I think I love you"

He starts to play with my hair, still, inches away from my face. I start to lean in. I feel his breath on my lips. I study his face. His perfect jawline is what makes the moment. I stare at his wet lips for what seems like a life time" I-I thinks I love you too..."

Hey guys! Sorry for not updating that much. I have been really busy moving houses and stuff so yee. THANK U SO MUCHH FOR 300 READS!!! It feels like yesterday that I was in the car with my cousin Alphawerewolf999 and saw that my book almost had 80 reads. Me and her were flipping out about it. Ok it was manly me but she was happy too. Ok so I will try to update more often even though I have school starting soon so 🙃. Bye weird people of the world that read my stories!
