A visit to Ashford Academy

The Meeting

"Zero, there is a Britannian Unit approaching." Yoshida said as the Black Knights forces retreated from their engagement with the Glaston Knights and Cornelia. Kallen and Tohdoh formed up on Gawain and prepared themselves to battle the enemy unit.  A single Sutherland appeared from out of the forest.  The Black Knights were in the middle of trying to reload their Knightmares into their trucks to return to base, but this Sutherland would report their position.  Kallen and Tohdoh charged it, but Lelouch looked down on his Druid System screen.  It picked up the unit, but it didn't show the symbol that designated it as an enemy, in fact it didn't register on either side.  Its IFF is deactivated Lelouch thought.  The Guren and Gekka were getting closer to the Knightmare when suddenly the Sutherland began broadcasting through its loudspeaker.
"WAIT!" Lelouch gasped.  He recognized that voice.  Is she insane?!  She will lead Cornelia right to me!
"Well that's an interesting turn of events." C.C. Smirked from the pilot's seat of Gawain.  Nevertheless, Tohdoh and Kallen halted their attack. 
"Please, don't destroy me yet." The Sutherland pilot said.
"Zero, what are your orders?" Kallen asked urgently. 
"Let's here what she has to say." Lelouch responded. "Cornelia is in no condition to follow us now."   Kallen lowered her radiant wave surger.  The Sutherland's cockpit opened and Lelouch saw a flash of pink hair.  Their, standing on the Sutherland was Euphemia li Britannia. 
"What the hell?" Kallen asked, shocked to see her piloting a Knightmare Frame.
"I am Euphemia li Britannia." She said as she climbed up on top of the Sutherland's cockpit block.  "I would like to request a meeting with Zero."
"She's out of her mind." Kallen said as she powered up her radiant wave surger.
"Hold on Kozuki." Tohdoh said.  "Let's see what Zero does."  Lelouch was of two minds.  On one hand, he wanted to hear what Euphie had to say, but on the other hand, he didn't want to risk her getting caught with the Black Knights, not to mention he didn't want her accidentally revealing his identity to the Black Knights.  However, if he talked to Euphie, perhaps he could persuade her to his side, and if Euphemia came, so would Cornelia.  And Suzaku. 
"Very well." Lelouch said through Gawain's loudspeakers. 

Two Black Knights brought Euphemia down and handcuffed her.  They brought her to the command truck, where Zero and C.C. Were waiting.  They stood with Euphie waiting for orders.
"Leave us." Lelouch said.  They nodded and exited the truck.  . 
"Lelouch." Euphie said happily.  C.C. Looked surprised and looked Zero
"What are you doing here?" Lelouch said as he took off his mask.  "And how how did you know it was me?"
"Oh come on, you really think I don't recognize your signature chess strategy?" Euphie said.  Lelouch smiled.
"As for what I'm doing here." Euphie continued.  "I want to join you."
