Here I was, sitting on my messy bed contemplating on weather I should just jump out the window and run off or endure the torture to come in a few moments.
It is currently 10 in the morning and my mom decided to wake me up this early, on a SATURDAY.
Oh, and why? Because we're going over to the neighbors house. To be more specific..
The Park residence.
I have nothing against them, except for their mean and annoying ass kid.
Park Jimin.
Sadly, were about the same age. Well he's 2 years older than me. I am currently 9 and he is 11.
Every time we go over he either throws water at me, pulls my hair when no one is around, pushes me around, or fools me by acting nice and then does something to get me in trouble.
He enjoys bothering my existence.
"Y/n! Come on! How long does it take you to change?!" , I rolled my eyes at my mom's comment.
"I'm comin' , I'm comin'..." , I sighed annoyed and grabbed my jacket.
I made my way over to my mother and looked up at her with puffed out cheeks and crossed my arms.
"Awe, sweetie, don't be like that. You should really start getting along with Jimin." , She pinched my cheek.
I furrowed my brows and shook my head violently.
"No. Never. I tried, but he's such a bully! Why would I want to get along with him?". I shook my head again.
"You'll see soon enough.", She simply smiled and patted the top of my head.
I shrugged and followed her out of the house and over to Jimin's.
My mom rang the doorbell and I grabbed her hand while we waited for someone to answer the door.
'Please let it be Mrs. Park, pleeasee'
I kept begging in my mind while tapping my foot lightly on the concrete.
"Ah, Hello, Mrs. Jeon!"
I internally groaned when I saw Jimin answer the door. He was smiling like an innocent child. He has everyone fooled, even Jungkook.
Some brother I have.
"Hello, Jimin! Are your parents home?", She smiled warmly at him. I just ignored his whole presence.
"Ah, yes. Please, come in! They were waiting for you.", He smiled once again and moved over to the side so we can come in.
My mom went first and she let go of my hand. I followed behind but ended up tripping and almost fell flat on my face.
I looked behind me and saw Jimin's foot sticking out. I looked at him and glared.
He just smirked.
Oh, you're so lucky Jungkook is 16 and can't touch you, you prick.
I rolled my eyes and went on to greet his parents.
As soon as I finished greeting them, they all said for Jimin and I to go watch TV in their living room.
"E-eomma, can't I stay here?" , I looked up at her with pleading eyes.
"Y/n, we have something to talk about. You can't listen to this conversation. I've thought you better." , She shook her head no and I sighed and nodded.
I made my way to the living room and lucky me, Jimin was no where to be found.
I sat down on the singular sofa and looked around.
I've been here various times, but their house never ceases to amaze me.
The living room was spacious. They have a huge chimney on one wall. There was a huge flat screen TV hanging above it. A big white rug sat in the middle of their wooden floor. A whole wall was all glass, so you could see into their spacious back yard. Also, there were lots and lots of family pictures on the walls and some on the coffee table.
Don't even get me started on the kitchen. It's simply amazing. I can only imagine the rooms here.
--------
30 minutes had passed and I was still here sitting down. Jimin hasn't appeared which I found strange, but was thankful for. The parents were still talking. You could hear them laugh every so often.
I sighed softly and walked over to the glass wall.
I looked around to see if I could see their new puppy.
I eventually spotted the pupper and tapped on the glass lightly, trying to catch it's attention. He noticed and ran over wagging his tail happily.
"Aw, hi Milo! Aren't you the cutest?", I giggled to myself and waved at him.
"You do realize you can go outside, right? Instead of talking to him through a window."
I immediately looked over and stepped back to the side when I saw Jimin with his arms crossed.
"Yes, I am aware. But my mom wants me to be here."
He laughed at my response, "wow, you're still such a good girl."
I shrugged, "I don't mind it at all. So, call me whatever you want."
I walked back over the couch I was on and sat down.
"Yet you get into so much trouble", he smirked.
"That's because YOU get me in trouble. I don't do anything.", I said pointing at him annoyed.
"ME?! I haven't done such thing." He scoffed pretending to be offended.
"You enjoy making my life annoying! So stop pretending. As if I don't have enough guy trouble with Jungkook at home.", I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.
"Oh stop being such a drama queen. That's how I play around.", He shrugged ever so plainly.
I scoffed and raised a brow.
"Ah, yes. Because pushing somebody into a mid puddle is fun. Getting your hair pulled is fun. Taking the blame for SOMEONE, IS FUN."
Jimin rolled his eyes, now him being annoyed as well.
"You're such a whiny baby for a 9 year old."
"And you're such an asshole for an 11 year old." I shot back.
He looked at me and seemed as if he was hurt.
Pfft, I'm not falling for your tricks fam.
"Y/n! Jimin! Come here for a second please!", Called Mr. Park.
"What now?", Muttered Jimin and made his way over. I followed keeping my distance.
---------
"WHAT?!"
I practically yelled and looked at the adults with wide eyes.
"I know, isn't it great! Jimin will be in your school starting Monday! You guys can hang out more!", Squealed my mom while clapping her hands.
I watched Jimin from the corner of my eyes and he was smiling.
I refuse.
This is not happening.
He will be the death of me.
Or I'll kill him.
"But why, is he transferring?", I complained, but held back in the time since his parents are here.
"Well, our son has been accepted into your school, now that his grade got much better. Plus, he wanted to transfer.", Smiled Mr. Park.
Jimin sat up in his chair, "appa!", He looked at his dad with a are you serious' look.
I looked over at him and he quickly cleared his throat and sat back in his chair.
I sighed and rested my head on the kitchen table.
Well, atleast were not in the same grade.
