Jisoo takes in a long drag of smoke, the substance burning her lungs as it envelopes her insides. She closes her eyes, allowing her pain to slowly subside and her thoughts to quickly disappear. She leans her hip against her suitcase, the other bag hanging heavily off of her shoulder as she pins her black hair up carefully, stopping the wind from getting it in her eyes.

The rough brick of the train station itches her pale, bare arms as she leans back against the wall, waiting impatiently for Tae to come get her. The cigarette fiddles in her mouth, tongue moving it around boredly inside.

She lets out a soft chuckle, remembering why her parents kicked her out in the first place. Seeing her smoking a cigarette in her room was the final straw after all of the other shit she'd been pulling for the past few months. Staying out late with guys twice her age, drinking, cursing, then the cigarettes pulled her in. They were the best thing to numb out the pain, except it didn't always work, because at night she'd still cry herself to sleep, wanted to scream so loudly that anyone could hear her; but it was enough. Except it wasn't enough for her parents.

She barely remembered the argument or the screaming, was just in her room one second and then sitting out alone in the park the next, calling Tae to come get her the hell out of there; because she had nowhere else to go.

"What the hell happened now?" He'd hissed into the phone.

"Nothing alright, I'm gonna go back home to pack my shit and then I'll call you back. I trust you to come get me alright?" She pressed firmly. It wasn't like she wanted to go back home anyways, her parents rules, regulations, and traditions were starting to become annoying and overbearing. This was the perfect opportunity to finally get away.

Taehyung sighed, clicking his tongue for a while.

"So are you going to come or not?"

"God fine, Jesus." He muttered. "Call me when you're ready. But you better explain everything to me when I come to pick you up. You're lucky I love you so much or I would have ditched your ass a long time ago."

"Thanks, love you." She sent a kiss into the phone, then shut it off.

And that's how she ended up at the train station. She'd called him again after barrelling through her room to pack anything valuable or important to her, he told her she'd have to take a train to his stop and he'd pick her up from there. That was her punishment for being so reckless and getting kicked out of the house.

He-

"Ow, shit!" Someone suddenly hisses in front of her then.

She snaps her eyes open and sees Tae facing her, rubbing his fingers together in obvious pain. There's black ash on the skin.

"Did you just try to put out my cigarette with your fingers?" She scoffs, taking it from her lips slowly.

He flashes her a glare. "Don't judge me."

"I see you haven't aged since the last time I saw you." She pushes herself off the wall, propping her bag higher up onto her shoulder.

"Yeah, and I see you haven't matured either." He crosses his arms and tilts his head, soft, messy brown hair falling swiftly into his kind almond brown eyes. "What the hell is going on with you Jisoo?"

She yawns. "I already told you what happened, my parents kicked me out for smoking inside."

"Why are you smoking in the first place? Since when did you ever smoke?" He snaps. "Do you know how bad that shit is for you? That's why I just tried to put it out right now but failed miserably."

"I don't really feel like talking about it right now Tae, I'm tired, I'll explain later." She tries to move passed him, but he grabs her arm.

"You're not going anywhere until you tell me what the hell is really going on." He states firmly.
